He's reportedly spent some €7m keeping his HIV positive status a secret, but Charlie Sheen may now be facing yet more financial – and indeed, legal – woes.

The 50-year-old Hollywood star has been married three times and is resident in California. There, it is a crime for someone to have unprotected sex when that person knows he or she is infected with a "communicable disease" (such as HIV).

If convicted, he'd face six months in jail. And if it was proven in court that he knowingly had sex with another person with the specific intent of transmitting the disease, then he could be looking at eight years in prison.

Of course, Charlie has not specifically said if he's had unprotected sex or not. However, he's already settled several cases with people who were involved with the actor and who were unaware of his HIV status.

One settlement is said to have occurred as recently as last month.

Police sources have told TMZ that as of yet, no one has come forward yet complaining Mr Sheen exposed them to the virus.

The actor is father to five children by three different women: Cassandra, 30, with ex-girlfriend Paula Profit; Sam, 11, and Lola, 10, with ex-wife Denise Richards; and twins Bob and Max, 6, with ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

He was fired from Two And A Half Men last year after going on repeated drug and alcohol benders. Charlie then went on to have a very public breakdown, giving a semi-incoherent, now-infamous interview to ABC’s 20/20.

Today, Mail Online is reporting an exclusive which details Mr Sheen's many personal troubles.

Saying he has become a "recluse in his own home," the website adds that the actor is addicted to crack cocaine, which he would smoke while repeatedly watching his old movies.

Mail Online adds that both male and female porn stars were paid anything from €23,000 to €32,000 a night each to "hang out with him" at his upmarket home. He is said to have had sexual relations with numerous men and women working in the adult entertainment industry.

Radar Online says Mr Sheen has been HIV positive for four years, with The National ENQUIRER breaking the details of his cover-up yesterday.

We all love Netflix for streaming some of our favourite TV shows and movies, but lately they've really been getting behind creating their own content.

We already know (and watch) most of it's in-house shows – Orange Is The New Black, House of Cards, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, etc – but now Netflix announced that it will be producing original movies too. Hurrah!

The first to be released will see Idris Elba starring in political drama, Beasts of No Nation, but we've also come across some other movies coming out soon that caught our attention:

The Ridiculous Six – December 11 2015

This Netflix movie will star big names such as Adam Sandler, Will Forte, Taylor Lautner and Rob Schneider.

It's the first of FOUR Adam Sandler-related movies to stream on the service soon and it's basically a mock-up of the old western-style films.

A Very Murray Christmas – December 2015

This movie will star Bill Murray, George Clooney (yes!), Amy Poehler, Chris Rock and Miley Cyrus.

With everyone basically playing a heightened version of themselves, Bill Murray decides to put on a Christmas special. But then a snow storm hits New York and Bill worries if his famous guests will make it to the stage on-time.

War Machine – Early 2016

War Machine will star Brad Pitt, Will Poulter and Topher Grace.

Based on the acclaimed novel The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America's War in Afghanistan, Brad stars as a rock'n'roll army general with a focus on the people who are running satirical campaigns about the war.

Irish actress Saoirse Ronan was all smiles for cameras at the Toronto International Film Festival as her latest project Brooklyn was welcomed with huge praise from critics.

The film is an adaptation of Colm Tóibin’s novel of the same name. The story of Eílis who leaves her rural hometown in Ireland for the US was adapted for film by Nick Hornby.

Speaking to Now Toronto, Saoirse was keen to downplay the acclaim she is receiving for her performance opposite Domhnall Gleeson.

She said that she was able to strongly identify with the character and her desire for growth fighting with a longing for her home:

“By the time we made the filmI’d essentially gone through Eílis’s journey.”

She explained that even now she feels a huge emotional attachment to the project and her character as she explained:

“I was right in the middle of feeling a deep, deep homesickness, missing my own mom and figuring out where I belonged in between these two places.”

Since the film’s premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year it has received much praise and exceedingly positive reviews. The New York Post commented Saoirse’s performance was “awards-calibre”.

While her work has been generating speculation of Oscar nominations, Saoirse would rather talk about the work itself than any awards or accolades.

She said that any “Oscar buzz” she hears is being taken with a pinch of salt.

She also commented that while she loved her costumes she felt a lot that had to do with the body types accepted as the norm in the 1950s.

"The shapes of the clothes are much more womanly, allowing for curves. Women were encouraged to have boobs and have a bum."

She added that she preferred “how much healthier” women’s body types were in the past.

It’s the battleground that every couple knows only too well: just WHAT do you go to see in the cinema for date night?

Sometimes, you agree readily and easily on a newly-released flick… on other occasions, the discussion is rather more fraught.

And even when you do finally come to a settlement, there is always the possibility of that tetchy, unforeseen scenario: a sold-out screening.

It’s frankly enough to test even the toughest relationships.

Fear not, however! ODEON Cinemas has come up with a solution – namely its innovative Screen Unseen drive.

Audiences are asked to go to the cinema (nothing new there, granted)… the twist is they never know exactly what they’re going to watch upon arrival.

But ODEON always plans the screenings meticulously, showing movies that get people talking – something out-of-the-ordinary and just a bit edgy, like Whiplash, Nightcrawler, and Selma.

Last night, Me, Earl And The Dying Girl was shown – to great acclaim by those who took the plunge.

A nice bonus is that tickets cost just a fiver AND you’ll save hours arguing over what to go see with your other half.

So we say… trust your judgement and buy a cinema ticket blind. It’s a fantastic way to try something new too.

ODEON Cinemas are located throughout Ireland, so keep your ear to the ground for the next Screen Unseen event, logging on to the website and its Facebook page for more information.

Megan Fox is one of Hollywood’s big-hitters when it comes to big earnings… and it seems that she’ll have to cough up big too when it comes to marital breakdown.

On Friday, it was announced that the 29-year-old is set to divorce fellow actor 42-year-old Brian Austin Green; her husband of five years, the father of her two children, and the man she’s spent more than a decade with.

Mr Green has been working fairly steadily since the mid-Eighties, mainly on TV shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, CSI, Smallville, and Desperate Housewives. However, his roles have never come anywhere near those of Ms Fox – who has starred in the likes of Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

And a terrible car-crash seems to be the reason Brian will never be able to match her six- and seven-figure earnings.

Indeed, he has worked very little this year – an involuntary hiatus reportedly caused by a head-on collision he was involved in last December.

Brian, who was travelling in the car with Megan at the time, was hit by a drunk driver who was later arrested. The other car was moving at around 80km/h at the time, and the impact deployed the airbags in the Fox-Green vehicle.

And although Megan was unhurt in the incident, it did trigger a serious medical condition in Brian: vertigo – which affects balance.

Apparently Mr Green's vertigo is so bad he can't get out of bed, and can therefore no longer work.

All of which means: Megan will be looking at paying a generous monthly spousal allowance when the pair do divorce.

As an aside: we wonder what impact his condition has had on their marriage? The couple also has two sons too – a three-year-old and an 18-month-old – something which must only add to the pressure being put on their strained relationship.

Whatever the reasons behind their separation,  however, we reckon we’ll be seeing a lot more of the actress at the box-office from next year.

Serious acting skills apparently do run in the family. Well, in the case of Lily-Rose Depp that is.

The 16-year-old daughter of Johnny Depp and his ex-Vanessa Paradis is set to star in the new movie Yoga Hosers.

The movie is billed as a horror-comedy that follows two yoga-obsessed teen girls who plan on going to a party but, naturally, everything goes wrong and they’re faced with disastrous consequences.

The film’s director Kevin Smith has said that Johnny met his match when paired up with his teenage daughter in an interrogation scene. The father-daughter combo tried to “out act each other” and it was apparently “really cute”, with Lily even putting her French language skills to good use.

Showing up her dad and no doubt making her mom proud, Smith says that in the movie “Lily busts out some French – because she speaks French really fluently – and just shows him (Johnny) up."

Yoga Hosers is a real family affair as Smith’s own daughter, and long-time BFF of Lily, Harley Quinn Smith stars opposite the Depp duo. Lily’s mum herself will also appear.

Smith has been in the business for more than 20 years and said that making this film was the most fun he’s ever had, he even called it “charm city”. Mostly due to the fact that both Johnny and his daughter feature in his film.

So it looks like Lily on her way to A-list success levels, and if her cool (in a weird way) Instagram posts and the glowing review Indie mag Oyster gave her are anything to go by, she’s going to be the coolest member of young Hollywood’s elite gang in no time.

She made a stunning appearance with mom Vanessa at a Chanel show not too long ago and started some serious buzz about whether or not she would launch a modelling career.

It looks like Lily has her eyes set on acting fame though, as we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the talented stunner.

While the cast may have only finished filming the final instalment in the series, the trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 has been released.

Last weekend marked the beginning of the end for the massive Hunger Games franchise, and its loyal fans. Director Francis Lawrence tweeted his goodbye to the series on Sunday with producer Nina Jacobson and the official Twitter account promoting the trailer release with the hashtag #Unite.

In case you need a recap before watching the latest trailer, here’s what was going on when we left Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and her squad of rebels.

Basically, while the whole gang were reunited, things weren’t so great for Katniss in the romance department. Her kind-of love interest Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) has been brainwashed and pretty much wants her dead. She’s got bigger things to worry about though as her efforts to save Panem from evil President Snow (Donald Sutherland) are going to be pretty time consuming.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is set to be released on 20 November 2015.

But it’s possible that the coming instalment may not be the last we see of the franchise. Lionsgate said earlier this year that they are developing possible prequel and sequel Hunger Games movies. The entertainment company said about the films previously “the mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.”
