If you have a dose of the Monday blues, there is no better cure than Hugh Grant.
That accent, with that face, and that humour… he's every womans dream. Here are our favourite Hugh Grant films to indulge in.
These are also some seriously lucky ladies

1. Notting Hill
Not only is it one of our favourite Hugh Grant films, it is one of our favourite films in general. Who doesn't love a bit of Julia Roberts?

2. Bridget Jones's Diary
We're still laughing about his epic battles with Colin Firth.

3. Four Weddings and a Funeral
It's just one of those classics. If you haven't seen it, tonight is the night.

4. About a Boy
We just constantly crave the cringe.

5. Two Weeks Notice
This film doesn't get enough credit. Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant work perfectly together.

Now, we know many of you will be flocking to the cinema to see Fifty Shades of Grey this Valentine’s Day – however, we have movies for those who aren’t into that kind of thing too.

These movies are classics; both modern and old and are good enough to watch alone and not feel lonely.

You don't have to have a Valentine to appreciate the day of love y'know! After all, as long as hot water bottles exists, who REALLY needs a fella?

Romeo + Juliet
Baz Luhrmann's take on Romeo + Juliet will go down in history as one of the greats. Making it modern and with a serious soundtrack, you'll find yourself wondering why Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio didn't end up together in real life…

10 Thing I Hate About You
Any excuse to see Heath Ledger's performance as Patrick is fine by us! This movie is based (loosely of course!) on The Taming Of The Shrew and all of the characters are so well thought out. Not to mention the epic love story between Kat and Patrick.

Casablanca
Such a romantic classic – if you haven't seen this yet then you NEED to get on it. Made in 1942 and starring Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart, the movie is responsible for classic quotes such as "We'll always have Paris" and "Here's lookin' at you, kid". Oh the heartbreak!

The Notebook
Oh come on, how could we leave it out?! Allie and Noah's love story started in a book by Nicholas Sparks before being immortalised on screen by Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling. Since then the movie has become a staple romantic film and we reckon it could be a classic in years to come.

Pretty Woman
Richard Gere and Julia Roberts were the face of early Nineties romance after this movie's release in 1990. That fire escape scene though…

Pride and Prejudice
Jane Austen's classic novel was taken to screens countless times; in a mini series with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy and again in a 2005 movie with Matthew McFayden and Keira Knightley in the title roles. Mr. Darcy will always be the ultimate heartthrob and Elizabeth Bennett the heroine.

Titanic
Jack and Rose, played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet respectively, are the star-crossed lovers of the "unsinkable" ship. All we'll say on this one is: she could have moved over.

An Affair to Remember
Often old movies don't appeal to our generation, however with An Affair to Remember, prepare to feel as if Cary Grant is personally breaking your heart…

The Fault In Our Stars
A movie adapted from the book by John Green of the same name; Hazel and Augustus Waters' love story in the face of unthinkable heartbreak will reduce you to tears pretty quickly.

When Harry Met Sally
Does it get any more classical than the modern love between Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal? No, it doesn't! The best line? "I'll have what she's having."

For any fans out there of Mrs.Doubtfire (and frankly, who isn't one?!), we have some pretty amazing news for you!

It has been announced that the 1993 smash hit comedy is being turned into a musical! We know, we squealed too.

Commenting on the project, Oscar- winnning composer Alan Menken has said: "It's going very well. It's in its early stages and that's probably all I can say!"

Alan is collaborating with David Zippel, who is currently working on lyrics for the production's songs, and went on to admit: "We're really enjoying working on it."

This is very welcome news following the tragic death of Robin Williams last year who starred as the Scottish nanny desperate to spend time with his family.

We can't wait for it to hit theatres!

There are some absolute corkers lined up for us at the cinema in the coming months and we are seriously excited, girls!

We've chosen our top five for 2015, from animation to drama and everything in between, and we'll be pre-booking our tickets to avoid disappointment.

Make sure you do the same!

Inside Out

Due for release in July next year, Pixar’s latest offering look sets to be heartwarming, hilarious and as hugely entertaining as all the Pixar flicks that have gone before. We can’t wait to meet Riley and all the emotions that live inside her head!

Fifty Shades of Grey

This long-awaited story will be hitting the big screen just in time for any ambitious couple who want to channel their inner Anastasia and Christian as it opens in Ireland on Valentine’s weekend next year. Very convenient!

Wild

Starring Reese Witherspoon, this film stormed it in the States on its opening weekend and we’re dying for it to hits screens on our side of the pond. Due for release in January, we won’t have to wait too long to see the story of the solo 1,100 mile hike one woman embarked on to cope with a recent tragedy.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge out of Water

Due for release March 20th next year, we are so excited to meet Spongebob and the whole crew again in this epic 3D adventure. We can’t wait to see the Bikini Bottom gang tackle a whole new world and we don’t care who knows it!

Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens

This films open at the very end of 2015, so technically it may not hit screens on this side of the pond until the beginning of 2016, but it's such a  major movie moment, we had to include it in the list! If you're as excited for it as we are, then join us in our nerdy pleasure, wont you?!

Sometimes the cinema is seen as the back-up plan when you want to go out, but you don’t want to go out-out.

Oh girls, don’t get us started on ‘out vs. out-out’ dilemma; it’s the eternal conundrum, right?

But here are just five reasons why a night at the flicks is almost always preferable to a night on the beer!

1. You don’t need to suck in your tum, hoike up your boobs and totter out in heels when you decide to kick back and chill out with Paddington.

Stretchy pants and no bra is practically mandatory cinema clobber.

2. You don’t have to perch awkwardly on a wooden stool and have half a pint spilled down your back while trying to look elegant.

Any drink spillages at the flicks will be your own doing as you try to balance your giant bucket of Pepsi on your burgeoning food baby.

3.  You don’t have to make awkward small talk with people you bump into at the bar.

The only sounds coming from you will be contented signs and random muffled belches

4. You don’t need to do your hair or make-up.

All you need to do is show up.

5. You don’t have to power through eight vodkas to get to the holy grail of grease at the end of the night.

A night at the cinema STARTS with grease, baby!

Yeah, we're sold too.

Ten pm showing, please.

Deciding to pan out in the cinema for a night of relaxation is always ruined when you realise you’ve forgotten the cardinal style rule for a night at the flicks; stretchy, stretchy, stretchy.

When you’re in a pair of jeans that are cutting off the circulation to your brain (well, they will be after a wheelbarrow of popcorn anyway) you can kiss goodbye to a chilled-out evening.

Here, girls, is all you need to do and wear for a trip to the cinema. Take note!

Hair

Loose is the only way to go here, ladies.

Who needs bobby pins digging into their heads when they’re trying to get their flake on?

Pants

Like your hair, we’re talking loose, loose, loose.

Ok, so pyjamas are ‘technically’ frowned upon, but could you possibly ditch the ones that sport sleeping sheep and get away with that black pair? Who would ever know?

T-shirt

Hoodies are normally considered the go-to guy in cases of major chill- fests, but you’re playing with fire here. What if you get too hot and all you have beneath is a skimpy cami?

Ladies, you need to opt for a cotton T-shirt (optimal breathing material) for when your nacho sweats kick in.

Outer wear

Like we said, ditch the hoody in a stuffy cinema.

Go for a soft, long sleeved cardigan, your arms stay warm but the open-buttoned lay-out of your standard cardigan accommodates any food baby issues.

Footwear

Considering all of the above, you’re not really going to want to team your killer heels with that sassy ensemble.

Cons all the way.

Now your sexy ensemble is complete, go eat and flake your heart out.
