Congratulations are in order for Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka – they're celebrating 13 years together.

Neil posted a rather heartwarming post on his Instagram page to mark the occasion last night, sharing a snap of his hubby and their son, Gideon.

The 43-year-old let his fans know that their anniversary is actually on April 1.

"Thirteen years and one day ago, I crossed paths with the guy on the left. 

"The adventures have never ceased. The love has never waned. The gifts are never ending (the guy on the right, e.g.).

"Happy Anniversary, @dbelicious. You're the best," he wrote.

Meanwhile, David wrote a post of his own. 

Taking to the same social networking site, he captioned an image of Neil: "Yesterday was mine and @nph 13th year anniversary!!

"Thank you Neil for being compassionate, adventurous, and an all around fantastic man. I love you more than ever."

Neil and David welcomed their twins, Gideon and Harper, back in 2010, before tying the knot in Italy in 2014.

We know he can spit a rap in Drop The Mic and multitask in Carpool Karoke, but how would James Corden fare when faced with a real-life Tony Award-winner in a Broadway Riff-Off?

The answer to that is pretty damn well if his recent musical exchange with Neil Patrick Harris is anything to go by.

Going head to head with the much-loved How I Met Your Mother star, James reminded us that when it comes to musical theatre, he really knows his stuff.

Clocking up more than 1.3 million views in just over a day, James and Neil had YouTubers falling all over themselves as they tackled classic Broadway hits.

Neil Patrick Harris is the latest celeb to participate in Vogue's 73 Questions.

The Youtube clips have recently had the likes of Kendall Jenner and Emma Stone take part, but we have to say, Neil is probably the funniest yet.

He answers everything from where he got inspiration for his kid's names to showing us the original booth from How I Met Your Mother.

And his house? Well, it's probably the slickest celeb house we've seen.

Neil's husband, David Burtka, even makes an appearance and they answer questions at the same time.

Over the last week or so, social media has been flooded with posts from proud parents as their little ones skip off to school for the first time.

And it seems that celebrities are no different. 

Case in point being Neil Patrick Harris: the actor shared a snap of his adorable twins ready to take on the demands of the kindergarten classroom.

Son Gideon and daughter Harper, both five, posed up in front of their family's New York home wearing their academic best for the occasion. 

With both little ones sporting sunglasses, Gideon wore grey trousers complete with red braces and navy deck shoes. Meanwhile, Harper went for grey shorts, black boots and a white shirts… all topped off with a bow in her hair.

'Kindergarten fits these two well. #firstdayofschool,' their 43-year-old father captioned the photo. 

Neil Patrick Harris has been married to David Burtka, also an actor, for two years. They welcome their twins – born via a surrogate – in October 2010.

This is just adorable!

It's hard to believe that it's been over a year since Neil Patrick Harris said "I do" to his partner David Burtka. 

But in honour of the special day, the former How I Met Your Mother actor took to Instagram (because who doesn't nowadays) to celebrate his anniversary. 

"One year ago today I had the pleasure of marrying David Burtka."

"I am so happy that I did—he's a truly wonderful man." He also added, "Here's to many more laughs and adventures…!"

The IG snap is just perfect for showing their love and affection!

The lavish wedding took place in Italy – with only a small number of friends and family attending the romantic ceremony.  

Sir Elton John treated Neil and David's twins to a performance, followed by the newly married pair dancing to Kelly Clarkson's hit, A Moment Like This. 

"It was nice. It was very small, intimate. Only 45 people were there," Neil told The View shortly after the big day. "I just wanted to be able to say nice things about David, to David, in front of the people who matter most to us…a declaration to share in front of our kids."

It's been almost a month since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garmer split up, and Ben has wasted no time in moving on, with the former couple's nanny, no less.

Christine Ouzounian was reportedly hired during Ben and Jen's ten-month trial separation period to look after their children, Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.

During that period, an attraction apparently developed between Christine and Oscar-winning actor Ben, and although his reps have dismissed the claims as garbage, Christine's story is a very different one.

"She says Ben really, really likes her,” a friend of the nanny told Us Weekly. "She’s saying this is true love."

But just who is the woman who stole Ben's heart? Here's what we know so far…

1. She’s 14 years younger than Ben, and 15 years younger than Jen. Stinger…
28-year-old Christine grew up in California and graduated from Santa Monica High School back in 2005. She went to college in Arizona where she studied communications, and also spent some time studying in Italy. Like Jennifer, Christine was a sorority girl – she was in the Delta Gamma chapter at ASU, while Jennifer was a Pi Beta Phi member at Denison University.

 

2. The Affleck-Garners were not her first celebrity employees
Prior to working for Ben and Jennifer, Christine was employed by How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris and his husband David Burtka to care for their toddler twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace in New York. According to her now-deleted LinkedIn profile, Christine's role involved representing "the family well in the public eye and press," and being "extremely discreet and flexible."

 

3. Her twin sister helped hook her up with celebrity jobs
Christine’s twin Caty has had a number of high-profile PA and nannying roles too, and also worked with Neil Patrick Harris as well as Mel B. The pair were both employed by a high-end Beverly Hills nanny agency which is where Christine got the Ben/Jen job.

 

4. She previously lived in the Bahamas and that’s also where Jennifer fired her
After their divorce announcement, Ben and Jennifer headed to the Bahamas with their kids (and Christine, we assume) for some downtime away from the press. However after discovering there was something going on with her ex-husband and the nanny, Christine was let go. She wasn’t left stranded though, as she no doubt had some old friends living nearby. The 28-year-old spent two years living and working in the Bahamas as a teacher at the Head Start Academy.

 

5. She wasn’t surprised when the media discovered her relationship with Ben…
…In fact she may have been the one who tipped the papps off. According to ET Online, Chris has a good relationship with celeb photographers having worked in the public eye for years. It’s thought she may have been the one who ensured she was snapped by photographers bringing a bottle of champagne into Ben’s rental house in LA.

We are very, very excited this morning.

The host for next year's Oscars has been announced, and he couldn't be a more perfect choice.

Neil Patrick Harris has been confirmed as the 2015 presenter, and we just know he's going to kill it!

The How I Met Your Mother actor revealed the news with a cute video uploaded to his Twitter account yesterday, showing his pretty impressive to-do list, including tasks like "Saw a lady in half," "Win a Tony Award, "Rap with Snoop Dogg" and "Star in a Broadway show." The only thing left is, of course, "Host the Oscars." Tick!

Neil's already made a name for himself in Hollywood since HIMYM ended, with a pretty creepy role in Gone Girl and a part in Seth MacFarlane's A Million Ways to Die in the West, too. But presenting the Academy Awards is no easy feat, even for the most relaxed of stars. TV veteran Ellen De Generes struggled last year with lots of autocue fails and stiff jokes – though she did manage to take the most iconic selfie of all time:

We just know NPH is up to the job, though! In the words of Barney, it's going to be legen – wait for it – DARY!

We don’t know how actors film sex scenes. We really don’t. Talk about the most awkward thing EVER! And Rosamund Pike sounds like she’s not a fan of them either!

The actress opened up about filming sex scenes for Gone Girl with Neil in a recent interview, and it sounds pretty cringe worthy!

“It was very funny doing [rehearsals for our sex] scene. David [Fincher] left Neil and me alone on that set for like two hours to make sure we could do it. But when it’s just two of you, basically kind of f**king on a bed, it feels so inappropriate.”

‘Inappropriate’ sounds like an understatement to us! Rosamund’s character was pretty busy with all the men in the film – as she said that getting intimate with her onscreen husband Ben Affleck wasn’t always easy either, as the two had such a strange relationship:

“Ben and I would have these scenes that were very giggly and sort of romantic, and then we'd go to this very dark place… I tried to get us out of that. Neil was incredible at that. We were in hysterics in the editing room.”

We are pretty excited about this film here in SHEmazing! – only a few more weeks to wait – it’s released the first week in October! Yay!

Sorry guys and girls, everyone’s favourite actor is officially taken.

Ok, so he was anyway – Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka tied the knot on Saturday after 10 years together.

The couple started dating after David made a guest appearance in How I Met Your Mother, and now have twins, a boy and girl, together called Gideon Scott and Harper Grace.

NPH broke the happy news on Twitter, writing:

“Guess what? @DavidBurtka and I got married over the weekend. In Italy. Yup, we put the 'n' and 'd' in 'husband'.”

With the couple's permission, actress and presenter Kelly Ripa, a guest at the wedding, spilled all the details about the ceremony.

 "It was a beautiful, beautiful family affair in Perugia, Italy" she said. "They rented a castle—or, I think they rented it! I hope we didn't break into a castle. It was a really beautiful. Sir Elton John performed. There were fireworks. The food was amazing."

"There were magic tricks, because you know, Neil is way into magic”

Kelly also shared an adorable story about the newlyweds twins and their part in the ceremony.

"Harper was going to be the flower girl and Gideon was going to be the ring bearer, and he said, 'I don't want to be the ring bearer!' And they said, 'OK, well, what do you want to be?' And he said, 'I want to be the orange boy.' And he passed out oranges to everybody as he came down the aisle! He came up with it on his own. He had his little tux and his top hat and he was passing out oranges."

"Later on during the night, we were dancing I said to him, 'Look, Gideon, I saved your orange because I'm going to keep it forever and he goes, 'Oh, you shouldn't! It's so delicious!'"

Sounds like a magical day, congratulations to the happy couple!

No show’s finale has faced as much controversy for quite some time, as the How I Met Your Mother’s finale.

Fans were left furious with how creators chose to end the hit show, with many saying they completely strayed from everything that occurred in the last nine years.

However, Neil Patrick Harris who has kept quiet up to this point about the finale has spoken out and said the show could not have ended in any other way.

Neil who played favourite Barney said that some people simply “never grow up”.

Harris went onto explain Barney’s character arc: “You want Barney to be the guy you bring your mum home to, but Barney is the guy that wants to bang your mum.”

How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris wasn’t having any of it when his Broadway performance was interrupted by an overzealous fan.

The female fan was said to have yelled out “I love you Neil!” during the actor’s performance of a transgender punk in the play Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Neil yelled back instantly, “I’m doing something up here, motherf**ker!”

This earned the 40-year-old actor a massive round of applause from the audience.

Cringe for the fan!

A spokesperson for the actor said his outburst was all done in good fun and “fully in the context of the show”.

Harris plays an East German transgender rocker looking for love in a revival of the cult hit that originally opened off-Broadway in 1998 and was made famous on both stage and screen by actor John Cameron Mitchell.

Sounds really cool!
