Okay, so when I was asked to review DisneyLife, Disney's new streaming service – I was a tad nervous.

Nervous, why nervous, I hear you ask?

Well, because my expectations were sky high, and I was a little worried my sweet friends at Disney would disappoint.

Spoiler alert: they did not.

Anyway, last weekend, I cleared my not-so busy schedule, and dedicated a full Saturday to the true DisneyLife experience.

The weather was shitty and grey, so I closed the curtains, wrapped up with a mug of tea, and let the magic unfold.

First point of information – signing up is SUPER easy, which is a blessing for impatient humans like myself.

Fill in all your details (name, card number etc), select your adorable character, Minnie Mouse thank you very much, and away you go.

Also, let's talk about the price for a little moment – DisneyLife is only €6.99 a month (cheaper than other streaming services – sorry Netflix), so its a no-brainer.

Next, there were the COUNTLESS choices, I hardly knew where to begin!

Do I go old school and watch The Little Mermaid, or do I embrace the modern world of Disney, and watch Frozen for the 87th time? That's when I realised that the fun doesn't stop at animation, as I scrolled through I saw that SISTER ACT was an option.

Sold.

There were so many amazing movies to choose from, which leads me to the discussion of my favourite DisneyLife feature – the offline mode.

I travel quite a bit, and tend not to love the movies shown on planes, but that is no longer an issue for me! DisneyLife allows you to download movies and shows while in Internet, and then you can watch them forever – No wi-fi? No problem.

All-in-all, I reckon there are a number of days in my future where I will be snuggled up in bed, binge watching Disney movies.

DisneyLife is class. End of.

In March of this year, Danny Masterson, who was perhaps best known for his role in That 70s Show, was accused of rape.

Despite these allegations. which date back to the early 2000s, Masterson was allowed to keep his role on Netflix's The Ranch.

However, due to a recent petition campaigning for Masterson's dismissal, bosses at The Ranch have dismissed the actor.

The petition, which amassed almost 40,000 signatures, drew attention to Netflix's decision to suspend Kevin Spacey from House of Cards, but retain Masterson on The Ranch.

Releasing a statement earlier today, a spokesperson for Netflix said: "As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of ‘The Ranch."

"Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him.”

Masterson responded to the dismissal in a lengthy statement, beginning"I am obviously very disappointed in Netflix’s decision to write my character off of The Ranch."

"From day one, I have denied the outrageous allegations against me. Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and determined them to be without merit. I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one."

"In this country, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, in the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused," he continued.

"I understand and look forward to clearing my name once and for all. In the meantime, I want to express my gratitude to the cast and crew that I’ve worked so closely with over the past three seasons. I wish them nothing but success. I am also so thankful to the fans that have supported me and continue to do so."

Danny is married to actress and model Bijou Phillips.

If you're anything like us, you grew up watching Sabrina Spellman in Sabrina the Teenage Witch navigating the murky waters of teenhood coupled with the pressures of casually being a half-witch.

We watched in awe as she juggled high school drama with trips to the other realm, and struggled to decide which aunt was our favourite, Hilda or Zelda?

From her evil twin to that 'Harvey digs Sabrina' episode, there were plenty of iconic moments in Westbridge.

Mush to the delight of 90s and 00s kids, Netflix intends to bring back the legendary characters, but with a twist.

The currently untitled series ,based on the Archie comic The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been snapped up by the streaming service for an initial two seasons, according to Deadline.

Riverdale writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and director Lee Toland Krieger are set to work on the pilot.

The show is set to be a departure from the bright and bubbly Sabrina show of our childhood.

It's going to be a darker, edgier drama which sees Sabrina struggling against the forces of evil, all while maintaining a normal half-mortal life.

No word yet on whether Salme the talking cat will make a comeback, but we don't think it would be the same without him.

Love Actually is coming to Netflix Ireland on December 14 and our Christmas streaming schedule just got a whole lot better.

The streaming service made the announcement on Twitter this morning with a playful re-working of one the film's best-loved scenes.

Only this time the cards read: "Every Christmas, we get the same question."

Followed by a number of tweets @netflix begging for the film to be made available on the service.

“We hear you!”, the announcement finishes.

Netflix has cut ties with Kevin Spacey, the star of its show House of Cards, following allegations of inappropriate sexual behaviour.

Earlier this week, the streaming service announced that it had suspended production of the political drama series' sixth and final season, and it had now emerged that Spacey's character, Frank Underwood, has been axed from the series completely.

“Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey,” the company said in a statement late on Friday.

Earlier this week, Broadway actor, Anthony Rapp, claims Spacey tried to seduce him when he was just 14-years-old.

Spacey has since issued a statement saying he does not recall the incident and offered an apology before announcing that he is living his life “as a gay man.”

While it is unclear at this stage how producers will deal with his absence, it is understood that his departure may not mean the end of the show.

“While we continue the ongoing investigation into the serious allegations concerning Kevin Spacey’s behaviour on the set of House of Cards, he has been suspended, effective immediately,” Media Rights Capital, the company that produces the show, said in a statement.

“MRC, in partnership with Netflix, will continue to evaluate a creative path forward for the program during the hiatus.”

According to Variety, one scenario being discussed by producers is the option of killing off Spacey's character, and instead, have the sixth series focus his wife Claire, played by Robin Wright.

Producers look set to move ahead with plans to create a potential House of Cards spin-off series, set in the same universe as the political drama.

The news follows the announcement that production of the hit Netflix show will cease after six series.

It comes just days after the series' lead actor, Kevin Spacey, was accused of sexually harassing an underage boy more than 20 years ago.

Broadway actor, Anthony Rapp, claims Spacey tried to seduce him when he was just 14-years-old.

“I don’t know if I would have used that language. But I was aware that he was trying to get with me sexually,” he told BuzzFeed.

The House of Cards actor has since issued a statement saying he does not recall the incident and offered an apology before announcing that he is living his life “as a gay man.”

It's understood the decision to end the Netflix drama was made before the claims emerged, though this is yet to be confirmed.

According to Variety, producers are now in the early stages of development of multiple spin-off ideas, including a series focused around Doug Stamper's career.
