Everyone is now obsessing over Derry Girls since it arrived on Netflix and we are not one bit surprised.

The beloved show stole our hearts when it first made its debut on Channel 4 in January 2018.

The comedy series follows the lives of Derry teens Erin, Orla, Michelle, Clare and James and is written by the unbelievably talented Lisa McGee.

Lisa recently gushed about the shows well-awaited return to the telly box. Fans of the show won’t have long to wait as she shared the potential release date during an interview on The Nolan Show on BBC Radio Ulster.

The writer said: “They’re talking about March, early March. See, that’s all Channel 4. That’s when I think it will be released.”

We have mere weeks to go until the second season of the comedy show and we honestly couldn’t be more excited about the show’s return.

Season two is bound to be a major crowd-pleaser. Lisa said it is even better than the first, which will be hard to top.

Fans are in for a real treat: “I love it. We’re editing it now,” she shared.

Lisa continued: “It’s better than season one, it’s a bit more ambitious and because we know what we’re doing a bit more, it’s better.”

We’ll be seeing a hell of a lot more Derry Girls in the future too with a potential third season in the works.

“We’re talking about doing a third series. Hopefully, if the second one goes well and everything goes according to plan, we’ll do a third series,” she added.

Bring on March 2019.

There is a new Internet challenge doing the rounds on social media, thanks to Netflix’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi hit Bird Box.

The movie, starring Sandra Bullock, tells the tale of a mother bringing her two children on a deadly blindfolded journey through a dangerous world, in which a mysterious force causes people to commit suicide with a glance.

While searching for a safe place that hasnt been marred by the force, the trio navigate the world completely blind – and a challenge mimicking their experience has sprung up online.

The Bird Box challenge sees people videoing and photographing themselves performing tasks blindfolded – sometimes in dangerous situations.

Many videos show people injuring themselves by walking into walls, or falling over objects.

One appears to show a man attempting to drive a car on a busy motorway with his eyes covered. Another shows a person trying to cross a road blindfolded, as cars rush by.

Another shows a father and his two children navigating their home blindfolded. One child ends up smashing into an interior wall of the home, after being dragged along by the parent.

Netflix issued a warning on Twitter asking people not to take part in the Bird Box challenge.

'Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE.'

'We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.'

For those of you who still need to catch up on your Netflix shows, don't miss the chilling new stalker series YOU.

The show stars Penn Badgley as a bookstore manager named Joe Goldbery, who meets an unsuspecting aspiring poet, Guinevere Beck, and gets a LITTLE too attached. To say the least.

He stalks the hell out of her, basically. Think Gossip Girl's Dan Humphries but way more creepy.

It's now been announced super on the down-low on the You Instagram account that the thriller hit is getting a second series.

Since it was released, the show has been talked about non-stop online, both for the crazy plot and the chilling acting skills of Mr Badgley.

Anyone who has seen season one probably aren't surprised at the announcement, as it ends on a major cliffhanger.

YOU is based on the book of the same name by Caroline Kepnes.

Pretty much everyone who has watched the show are debating deleting their social media accounts, as Joe stalks Beck entirely from her Instagram and Facebook accounts.

He finds out LITERALLY everything about her from a single click; where she lives, her place of work, aspects of her personality, her interests, her book loves, you name it.

Once he gets his hands on her phone, he can access her emails, group chats and messages. Which is basically someone's entire life, these days.

Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars) also stars alongside Badgley and Elizabeth Lail, who plays Beck.

Listening to Joe narrate the entire show displays the weirdness and bizarre thought processes of stalkers.

Trust us, you won't be able to stop watching.

You'll also be looking over your shoulder a lot more…

EVERYONE is talking about Netflix's new episode of their hit dystopian show, Black Mirror. To be honest, we can't forget it, because it's so damn INTENSE.

Bandersnatch is an interactive feature which clocks up over an hour-and-a-half of pure, unadulterated MADNESS where the viewer makes choices on behalf of the protagonist.

Each choice which we make influences the future and fate of Stefan, a computer programmer who is creating his own version of Bandersnatch as a game in 1984.

Writer Charlie Brooker must have almost gone insane himself writing all ten endings; the episode is so tangled and complex that the audience themselves feel complicit in every horrible thing which ensues.

Whether it's choosing methods of murder, the music which Stefan listens to or even just his cereal preference, we are in control of him and boy is it a RUSH.

The reactions online, predictably, have been absolutely hilarious. Here are some of the gems which we dug up after we un-shook ourselves (it took some time and whiskey TBH)…

Shocked Oh My God GIF

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD.

1. Those of us who enjoyed controlling Stefan a lil bit too much:

 2. Our tangled minds trying to comprehend reality:

3. Will Poulter's EYEBROWS?

4. The shock we felt when our decisions had actual consequences…

5. The whole dad debacle. I mean, no words needed.

6. Those CRAZY folk who decided to watch Bandersnatch and Bird Box on the same day, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING:

7.  Those tough, tough choices re: breakfast though:

8. Let's face it, we all chose for Colin to jump rather than Stefan and then felt guilty didn't we:

9. We don't even know how to explain this one:

10. When Colin was the SPITTING IMAGE of Sid from Toy Story, except blonde:

11. Poor Stefan trying his best to understand us:

12. Why murder was easier than deciding cereal?

13. We're all evil.

14. When we chose a computer game over a 19-year-old boy's sanity:

15. We got banderSCALPED.

16. We couldn't live without finding out those endings, mmkay?

17. We became sub-human:

18. Our own mental health was simply compromised:

19.  We all wanted Stefan to succeed, didn't we?

20.  The whole Colin-Stefan relationship was warped AF:

21. Finally, who else was attracted to either Colin or Stefan??

The show has ruined us completely.

Good luck to anyone who managed to watch the full thing, as well as finding out each (mind-boggling, usually tragic) ending.

We need to go lie down, the world is SPINNING.

One of our FAVE series is making its return.

Stranger Things is coming back to our TV screens for a third season.

You may have to wait a little bit longer though, as the gang will be back on July 4, 2019.

Teasing us with a snapshot of the new series, Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink) can be seen enjoying some 4th of July fireworks.

However, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Will (Noah Schnapp) are turned to face the camera with worried looks.

The new teaser was also uploaded alongside a clip of "A Hawkins New Year's Eve."

For those of you who aren't fans of the hit Netflix programme, Hawkins is their fictional town.

The video shows their city counting down the New Year of 1985.

However, the live broadcast is continually interrupted by a strange signal.

If the teasers are anything to go by, season 3 looks very promising.

WE CAN'T WAIT.

It feels like a lifetime has passed since season two of The Crown aired on Netflix. We’ve been longing for the show to return to our screens and it looks like we don’t have long to wait.

Netflix has graced us with a glimpse of the upcoming season and we have to admit we are rather excited.

Two photos of the new cast were released and we have to say they look incredible. Many fans can admit they were sad to say goodbye to the original cast. Claire Foy, Matt Smith, Vanessa Kirby and Matthew Goode were phenomenal in their roles, but it looks like we had nothing to worry about after all.

In one photo, Helena Bonham Carter, who will play Princess Margaret dances with her on-screen husband Anthony-Armstrong Jones, played by Ben Daniels. The lovebirds look happier than ever in the snap, but trouble is on the horizon for the couple this season.

One of the biggest storylines of season three will follow the breakdown of Margaret and Anthony’s marriage.

The second image sees Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies in their roles as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. The resemblance between the pair and the royal couple is uncanny.

It has been claimed that series three will be set during the late 1960s and 1970s. The Duke of Windsor passed away in 1972, so we have a feeling his death will be a major storyline this season.

Season three will also focus on the life of Prince Charles, including his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles.

The next season of the drama series is set to air early in 2019.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has us wrapped around it's teen-horror finger; we LIVE and breathe witchcraft and drama.

Of course, the show-runner for the Netflix show, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, is also the creator of Riverdale, and both shows are based on the classic Archie comics.

How great would it be if the two magical shows aligned? We'd be 100% here for it, that's for sure.

According to Shipka, spicing up the lives of Greendale's inhabitants would be easy for Archie Andrews; “My idea, personally, is that I think we need to get one of the Riverdale characters over on our show,"

A mash-up would make absolutely perfect sense since Greendale is actually Riverdale's neighbouring town, and both series' were adapted by the same person.

Just imagine the interactions, Ambrose and Jughead would be moody yet sassy BFF's, Sabrina and Betty would probably braid each other's hair, and Salem would be taken good care of by Dark Betty.

Anything is possible lads.

Shipka spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her simple yet effective idea for a Riverdale crossover;

"I think Archie should just wander over to Greendale. Like, he goes on runs. He's athletic. He can run into Greendale one day….Right?"

"I honestly think that Archie hopping on over into our show would be awesome. My main pitch is always that… Forget the Gargoyle King! What is happening in the town over?," she continued.

What would Sabrina order at Pop's Diner?

Would Sabrina and Archie have a romance plot, similar to the comics?

There are just SO MANY exciting things that could happen, fingers crossed that this actually happens.

They're the teen romance films we are all (secretly) obsessed with.

Whether or not you admit to loving this genre, there's good news.

Netflix has confirmed there will be a sequel to the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and we CAN'T WAIT.

If you haven't seen the first movie – GO and watch it.

But it's based off an award-winning novel written by Jenny Han and follows actress Lana Condor as a secondary student Lara Jean.

Instead of confronting the lads she likes, Lara writes love letters to the boys she's been eyeing up and hides them away in a teal box in her wardrobe.

Cue the little brat of a sister snooping in her room and sending the private confessions to the boys they're addressed to.

A whole lot of drama occurs which leads to an arrangement being made with a boy called Peter.

Peter and Lara agree to pretend to be each other's partners.

I am sure you can guess what happens from here, but the predictable plot still gets us every time.

The second instalment of the books is titled P.S. I Still Love You, which is already giving us feels.

WE CAN'T WAIT.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has caused QUITE a stir since it exploded onto Netflix this year.

The series was ordered from Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa as part of a two-season agreement, which means we are guaranteed more magic, more unreal characters like Ambrose and Harvey Kindle, and more unbelievably chic hairstyles.

I mean, her icy blonde locks at the end of season one? Slay much? Goals?

We honestly can't get enough. Just hook us up to an IV of Ambrose's honey-toned voice saying 'cousin' on repeat.

Since the finale of season one, fans have been speculating what exactly is in store for season two.

“Sabrina definitely changes and shifts a lot. Her growth is very evident and the second season definitely has a different spin on it than the first season. They are very different from each other.”

Season two is set to pick up straight away from the endingof season one, and the mid-winter special has already aired.

Sabrina herself has claimed;

“I would just say that, without giving too much away, because it would be a bit of a spoiler, the way that Sabrina’s life takes certain turns and certain decisions she makes inform the second season."

"The finale of the first season sets up a lot. It goes in a different direction. We see more different characters. It deals with a different side of things.”

Filming, as per Shipka's Instagram and Ross Lynch's updates, wrapped in December 2018. There are also rumours that Salem might get his own special episode.

Speaking to IndieWire in October, the showrunner acknowledged Salem’s history, saying; “We’ve definitely talked about doing a Salem-centric episode where we learn more about his life,” RAS said.

Despite the fact that the kitty didn't have any dialogue in the first season, “That isn’t to say that Salem won’t talk in the future.” Our ears are pricked, fam.

Jedidiah Goodacre (The OriginalsSupernatural and The 100) plays Dorian Gray, a warlock who owns a nightclub called Dorian Gray’s Room. Yep, it's a Oscar Wilde reference.

Netflix is releasing a documentary that takes a look at the life of DJ Avicii.

Eight months after his untimely death at 28 years of age, it is a heartbreaking watch.

The documentary, Avicii: True Stories, was filmed over four years, and there are unsettling statements made throughout including Avicii himself saying, ''There was never an end to the shows, even when I hit a wall. My life is all about stress."

He even states towards the end of the doc that the stressful touring ''will kill me.''

Real name Tim Bergling, the DJ was found dead in April 2018 in Oman.

It was later confirmed as suicide, with his family saying that he ''could not go on any longer."

Avicii's manager, Ash Pournouri also said, "Tim is going to die, with all the interviews, radio tours and playing. He'll drop dead."

The final scenes from the documentary were supposed to be celebratory and show the DJ chilling on a beach in Madagascar.

However, it was filmed and had a limited release after Avicii took a break from touring but before he died.

Now the tragic ending, in the words of the director, is ''chillingly false.''

Originally only intended for a limited release in Europe, Avicii: True Stories will be released on Netflix for streaming in the US. and the UK on December 28.

Miley Cyrus stopped by Howard Stern's Siriux XM show yesterday to chat about her new song, Saturday Night live and her guest slot on the upcoming fifth series of dystopian Netflix thriller Black Mirror.

She dropped Nothing Breaks Like A Heart with Mark Ronson only a few weeks ago, and we are LOVIN' it.

She's set to perform Happy Xmas (War is Over) with Ono Lennon on SNL, and will more than likely appear in a sketch or two. The buzz surrounding Black Mirror began when Cyrus was spotted filming in South Africa.

She commented about her involvement with the smash hit show (which honestly shakes us to our core) in a coy manner, but we all know it's damn truth and we cannot wait to see her act.

When Stern quizzed the singer on her guest role, she said; “If you guess it, then I will shake my head ‘yes.'” She nodded, confirming that our TV drama dreams have come true.

“The minute I say I never want to do something again, all of a sudden, there I am,” she added.

“I hate everything, but it was the first time I’ve left somewhere feeling really proud of my work…but you know if I like it that might mean it’s horrible.”

Speaking about her character on the show, she described her as having “a lot of dynamic”, and also mentioned the horrific wildfires which raged in California and destroyed her home.

“There’s a lot of dimension to it, and actually it was while the devastation of Malibu was happening, and it was a really weird learning experience for me, because I was so far from home and the show is already really dark, and it’s already kind of eerie when you’re there the whole time," she said.

The Malibu songstress was also questioned on her friendship with fellow pop goddess Ariana Grande, and Miley claims that she texted the Thank U, Next icon following her much-publicised break-up with Pete Davidson a… cat emoji?

“I thought it was slightly even making her feel good, like maybe I was hitting on her a little bit.” I mean, Ari is a queen, so we support this.

We can't wait to see Miley hit our Netflix screens when the anticipated next season of Black Mirror is released, the countdown begins.

Richard Madden has had quite a year, and it's only getting bigger following his stint as David Budd in the worldwide TV thriller The Bodyguard.

News has just emerged that the 32-year-old Scottish actor has received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance By An Actor In A Television Series – Drama.

He visited Ellen DeGeneres on her veteran show to discuss the breakout BBC hit, which is now on US Netflix and has been streamed constantly, as predicted.

Ellen is never one to hide away the shirtless photos of her male guests, and she continued her tradition of embarrassing her talk show visitors by addressing Madden's naked scenes in the show.

She asked the actor how his parents feel about his nudity as the bodyguard of the Home Secretary of Britain, and he replied that his parents are less than impressed with seeing his rear end on screen:

"I've made a few mistakes I've made in my time, one of which is neglecting to tell my mother that there's going to be a sex scene in my show," he told Ellen.

This would be fairly embarrassing TBH, most parents don't want to witness their loved ones wearing nothing on TV…and Richard's rents are no different:

"I get a hysterical phone call of "you must tell me and your father, I was watching it at the time with a cup of tea, I nearly spilled it!"", he laughed.

We're gonna throw in another Richard Madden gif for good measure:

You're welcome.

His mum certainly sounds exactly like any Irish mother, cup of tea and slightly judgemental tone paired with the casual Catholic shame… classic.
