This may be stating the obvious, but we are pretty major ice cream fans here at Shemazing! HQ.  And while we’ve already swooned over hangover-curing and black-coloured ice creams this summer, we have now discovered our ice cream temple of dreams.

Late last month New York’s Meatpacking district became home to what is possibly the greatest pop-up exhibition of all time as the interactive Museum of Ice Cream opened its doors.

According to Time Out, this temporary hall of frozen fame boasts a pool of sprinkles, an immersive chocolate room and an ice cream sandwich swingset.

You can find your perfect flavour during an ice cream tasting session or, if you’re feeling a bit techy, you can meet your match in an ice cream themed Tinder Land.

Unfortunately this food lover’s dream is only open ‘til September, but fingers crossed the exhibition will become a permanent fixture so that next time you take a trip stateside you too can swim in a pool of sprinkles.

Tributes have been pouring in from models, designers and celebrities alike, who are all mourning the loss of a fashion industry legend.

The world famous fashion photographer, Bill Cunningham, passed away on Saturday aged 87 in New York, following a stroke.

 

I was so sad yesterday to hear of the passing of the legendary, Bill Cunningham. Here's a little story… I watched a documentary about this iconic NY street style photographer, called "Bill Cunningham New York" last year (a must see if you're into fashion, btw). I was so taken by this sweet man & his commitment to his art… you can't help but fall in love with him. All I could think after watching was, I want to be photographed by Bill! How cool would that be?! A few months later I was in NYC for fashion week. I stepped out of my car at the DVF show & photographers started snapping shots. I was so distracted by what was happening in front of me, that I didn't realize there was a familiar face in a familiar blue jacket taking pictures to my left. My stylist Madison (who is equally obsessed with Bill) gets my attention amidst the chaos & points at sweet Bill. What happened next was completely unexpected. I saw him, freaked out & excitedly screamed "BILLLL!!!". I'm pretty sure I startled him & he shyly smiled & took some pictures of me. A wave of emotion came over me & I started to cry. I tried to hide my tears of joy as I posed for a few more shots, hoping that people wouldn't notice. I made my way over to Bill & told him how much I loved him & asked for a picture. He was so adorable & kind & gentle. #RIP #BillCunningham It was an honor to have met you & to have been photographed by you. I hope wherever you are, you still have that camera of yours.

Cunningham is famous for saying ‘he who seeks beauty will find it’ and this could not be more true to fact when looking at his work. He had an eye for the magnificent, and a flair for the fabulous. We have Bill Cunningham for the idyllic street style that New York is famous for.

They have yet to officially confirm that they are back together, but Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth looked very loved up on their latest outing.

The couple were spotted holding hands while leaving Soho House in New York, and it looks like their relationship is going stronger than ever.

Miley wore a pair a playful trousers and denim jacket, with her supposed engagement ring shining bright.

In May, Liam told GQ Australia that his fans are smart enough to figure out the couple's current relationship status.

"People will figure it out, they already have… They're not dumb," he said.

"I guess when I feel something, then I just feel it and I go for it," he added.

Eeek! We're so happy they're back together.

We genuinely thought that wedding bells were in the offing for one of our all-time favourite couples.

Sadly, however, news has now spread from the US that Taylor Swift, 26, and Calvin Harris, 31, are no more. 

It is being reported that in the aftermath the couple, who dated for 15 months, hope to remain firmly on friendly terms.

A source told People magazine: "There was no drama. Things just don't work out sometimes."

Previously thought to be one of celebrity's most solid pairings, the duo had become a stable of glamorous red-carpet events during the latter stages of their union. 

Significantly, however, Tay-Tay attended the Met Gala alone a month ago in New York.

Last year Ms Swift and her Scottish DJ beau were ranked by Forbes as the music industry's highest-paid celebrity couple, with earnings of more than €130million.

In today's 'making you feel old' news, it's been a whopping ten years since Lauren Conrad bid goodbye to Laguna Beach in favour of LA.

And yesterday the reality star-turned-author met up with two old friends in New York for a very special occasion – the launch of her new book, Celebrate.

Lauren's former co-stars Trey Philips and Dieter Schimtz were among the gang of friends and influencers who turned out to support her at the first press event for her party-planning guide, which is available to purchase from March 29.

MTV alum Trey was sure to post a snap of the trio – and their champagne glasses – on Instagram to commemorate the big evening.

"Congrats @laurenconrad on her new incredibly gorgeous and useful book. And a great party to boot!" wrote Trey who now works in New York with fashion designer Vera Wang.

Fellow Laguna Beach star Dieter also took to social media to congratulate his friend, saying he'd had a "blast" at the glam event.

And while she mightn't be on great terms with Kristen Cavallari these days, Lauren says she still fondly looks back on her Laguna Beach days as a "unique" time.

"There was an innocence to it because none of us were doing it to get any deals or other ventures — we were just all friends and it sounded cool so we did it," she says of the show's early days. 

"We didn't know what we were really doing, so I think it was this very interesting time where people didn't have ulterior motives. We were just filming a documentary."

And yesterday Corkonian Graham Norton sent the internet wild with a snap posted from New York, where he is currently enjoying some down-time.

Sharing a loved-up Valentine's Day snap, the presenter is seen with his arms wrapped warmly around handsome lawyer, George Sapio.

With the accompanying caption declaring 'I said yes!' along with the inclusion of an engagement ring emoji fans were quick to offer congratulations to the 52-year-old.

However, on further inspection, it seems that Graham was merely enjoying a spot of light-hearted banter: asking everyone to "calm down," he subsequently declared that he had only agreed to another drink… rather than a proposal of marriage.

Nevertheless, several folk were caught up in the moment, with one fan on Instagram declaring: "Ahhhh graham is engaged!!" And another excited individual said: "Omg!!! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! So happy for you two! Love, love your show!" 

Others excitedly shared chapel, wedding, and celebration emojis in response. 

Late last year it was reported that Graham had split from his boyfriend, music marketing consultant Andrew Smith. It is believed that Mr Norton is currently single.

Kris Humphries didn't have the best break-up with Kim Kardashian, so it would have been mega awkward for the ex-hubby to bump into Kimmy's current hubby.

The two stars were in Manhattan, New York last night and just narrowly avoided each other.

The rapper was in the Big Apple to attend the launch of Kendall and Kylie's new fashion line.

Meanwhile, Kris was in the city for work reasons since he has been out of basketball due to an injury in his right knee.

But there's no love lost between the pair , since Kanye slammed the basketball player in his song Cold in 2012.

"I’ll admit, I had fell in love with Kim. Around the same time she had fell in love with him. Well that’s cool, baby girl, do ya thang. Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team."

Ouch, Kanye. But then again, Kris probably doesn't care.

We know that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are the couple of the moment, but one thing we didn't expect is for them to move in together already. 

The hot new couple were spotted out in New York City yesterday, and got a lot of people talking about the various stops they took on their visit. 

While in a SoHo neighbourhood, the duo were seen visiting various apartments that are available to rent. 

But one source told E! News, that they were just having a look, and don't plan to move in together yet. Huh? 

Instead, the inside source said that they just wanted to see a few sights while spending time together in the Big Apple. 

Now, if we wanted to visit a few sights in New York with our other half, we'd opt for the Statue of Liberty, or the Empire State Building, not a few… apartments. 

Zayn and Gigi do seem quite keen on each other though, so you never know, it could happen soon enough.

Azealia Banks got herself into a little bit of bother this week. 

E! News is reporting that the rapper was arrested early Wednesday morning after she allegedly assaulted a female security guard outside a Meatpacking District nightclub, Up&Down in New York. 

The New York Police Department told E! that around 12.46am, Azealia was escaorted out of the venue "when she became verbally abusive and began to push the victim and bit the victim on the breast causing swelling and redness."

The NYPD added that "she was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct and harrassment."

But what exactly got Ms Banks so riled up that she bit the woman's poor boob?!

A source told E! that the 24-year-old wasn't invited to the party in Up&Down, but arrived as a plus one. 

But when Azealia tried to go down to the party, the security guard turned her away and told her she had to have a stamp to enter. She eventually got a stamp and proceeded into the party but told the other guests that she was annoyed the security guard didn't recognise her as a celeb. 

That's how the altercation started but we're sure there was a lot of drink involved too. Azealia was released on Wednesday evening after seeing the judge.

Celebs are getting rather clumsy these days. First, Jennifer Lawrence can't stop falling at award shows, and now Demi Lovato is following is her (unbalanced) footsteps. 

While performing at the Jingle Bell Ball in New York City last weekend, Demi had a little mishap. 

While closing her set with Cool for the Summer, the singer tripped over her mic stand and landed smack on the floor. 

But true to form, Demi got straight back up again and started fist-pumping the air. She then proceeded to tweet about the unfortunate blunder: 

When it comes to Ms Lovato, one thing is for sure: nothing will keep that girl down. Literally.

A woman reportedly slit a heavily pregnant mother’s throat, and ripped out her unborn baby in a deranged attempt to pass off the child as her own, according to media reports.

According to the Mail Online, Ashley Wade allegedly killed her victim Angelikque Sutton by slitting her throat, before performing a Cesarean section in an apartment in the Bronx. 

The attacker, who is said to suffer from mental health issues,  reportedly ripped the baby girl from her mother’sstomach, and was later found her by her boyfriend cradling the newborn next to Sutton’s body.

Hysterical, Wade started shouted "It's my baby", as her partner surveyed the scene. 

She told her partner that she had started wanting Sutton’s baby after hearing her tell neighbours about her pregnancy.Wade’s boyfriend immediately called the police. A local councilman in the Bronx, Andy King, told the New York Post:

“It looks like the baby was surgically removed. That this is a possible baby snatch – this is unforeseeable. With the holidays approaching, what a bloody way to start the season.”

Police are said to have found blood smeared over staircases and doorways that lead to the body of Angelique Sutton. In more graphic reports on the story police are said to have found a placenta and knife lying in the hallway next to the bathroom. 

The mother was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, but authorities confirm the baby girl is doing well.
