Chelsea Handler is known for revealing as much – if not more –  than the high-profile guests who appear on her popular comedy talk show, Chelsea Lately, so it's no real surprise that she decided to open up even more during an essay she recently penned for Playboy.

Reflecting on her teenage years, the 41-year-old star admitted that she became pregnant twice at the age of 16 and opted to terminate the pregnancies on both occasions.

"I was going through a very bad stage in my life. I hated my parents and I was having unprotected sex with my boyfriend, who was not someone I should've been having sex with in the first place, never mind unprotected sex," she wrote.

Drawing down on her inability to process the magnitude of the situation, Chelsea wrote: "I wasn't really playing with a full deck of cards, and when I got pregnant I just thought, Why not? I can have a baby. Maybe I'll have twins and give them rhyming names."

Chelsea went on to acknowledge her parents' role in the decision to terminate the first pregnancy, but admits that when she became pregnant by the same boyfriend for a second time that year, she was on her own.

"I didn't have the money the second time," she wrote. "I had to scrape together the $230 to pay Planned Parenthood, but it was a safe abortion. Getting unintentionally pregnant more than once is irresponsible, but it's still necessary to make a thoughtful decision."

The New Jersey-native insists that she made the right decision on both occasions and simply wasn't equipped for motherhood at the time, writing: "We all make mistakes all the time. I happened to f*ck up twice at the age of 16. "

"I'm grateful that I came to my senses and was able to get an abortion legally without risking my health or bankrupting myself or my family."

"I'm 41 now. I don't ever look back and think, God, I wish I'd had that baby," she insisted in the lengthy essay.

As if the Brexit drama wasn't enough for our dear friends across the Channel, England finally came to the end of their Euro 2016 journey yesterday evening.

In what was set to be a victory for Wayne Rooney's team, the English side met Iceland on the pitch in Nice, but things didn't pan out quite as expected.

In a result which surprised the vast majority of football fans, the English side were defeated by their Icelandic opponents with a score of 2:1 at the final whistle.

Iceland, with a population of just 332,000, was the lowest ranked team entering the Euro 2016 competition, which only adds insult to injury for the English squad.

The defeat not only resulted in total humiliation for England, but Roy Hodgson, the manager of the team, resigned from his post just moments after the loss.

Hodgson, who was earning a whopping £3.5 million a year, announced his retirement in a press conference in France after the match.

The English players were comforted after the game by the parade of WAGS in attendance, including Coleen Rooney, the captain's wife.

We are looking forward to seeing how far this team from Iceland can go…maybe they can replace Britain in the EU?

Ever since Ed Sheeran released Don't – a track which appears to describe being spurned by Ellie Gouldingrumours have circulated that Ellie turned her back on Ed's affections for none other than Mullingar's most famous export, Niall Horan.

Ed has never denied the rumours and once even suggested that he's officially forgiven both Ellie and Niall for pie'ing him which has left fans fascinated by the are they/ aren't they dynamic which exists between Niall and the Burn singer.

Despite the fact Ellie and former McFly member, Dougie Poynter, have been in an on again / off again relationship for two years, it looks like any hint of affection between Ellie and Niall will always grab attention.

After taking to Instagram last night to pay tribute to the Love Me Like You Do singer, Niall's snap of the star on stage at Glastonbury received a whopping 870,000 likes from fans who don't want to let the Ellie/Niall dream die.

"Yesterday i watched my best friend play main stage at Glastonbury," 22-year-old Niall wrote alongside the photo. "She killed it as always, so happy for her!"

However, while some fans gushed over the friendship, others were a little more sceptical, with one writing: ""Best friend" or more like f*ck buddies" while another added: "More like bestfriend with benefits."

Christ, they're really not having the BFF line.

We have limited self control as it is when it comes to bread, but the minute it's popped in a toaster, all bets are off.

If you can generally contain yourself around the carby goodness that is a slice of poppyseed loaf, but have never managed to refuse a plate of toast, you're not alone.

According to those in the know – toast scientists obvs – this particular weakness comes down to something known as the Maillard reaction.

The Maillard reaction is a chemical process which takes place between the sugars and amino acids in bread when it is toasted.

As the process continues, a variety of new compounds are formed which ultimately produce a flavour most of us can't get enough of.

According to a report in Cosmopolitan, the most appealing among these are known as furanones which are responsible for the uber-comforting feeling you get from a mountain of hot, buttered toast.

Oh, and then there's that unmistakable smell…

We're absolute suckers for a sweet proposal here at SHEmazing! HQ, so it's no surprise we're ALL over the latest one to take the internet by storm.

Taking place during London's Pride Parade on Saturday afternoon, an officer from the Metropolitan Police took a moment to get down on one knee, and pop one very important question.

In front of proud colleagues and delighted revellers, the police officer made his way over to his boyfriend, Jonathan Sammons, who was watching proceedings from behind a row of barriers.

Stunned by the surprise proposal – to which he said a massive yes – Jonathan later told clamouring press that he was totally overwhelmed, gushing: "Amazing! Oh my God, I can't believe he did it."

While Jonathan's fiancé had been planning to pop the question for some time, the idea of doing it during London Pride was a relatively new one, saying: "It's been planned for a while but not like this."

Well, we thank you for taking this route – you guys made our weekend!

Twenty beautiful puppies of various breeds are currently being cared for by the ISPCA after they were seized from the boot of a car in Cairnryan ferry port in Scotland recently.

The puppies, which were aged between four and eight-weeks-old, had been travelling in the boot of a car from Ireland before they were discovered by officials.

In addition to being too young to travel and without the proper documentation, the puppies were not registered on an approved database – a requirement under the Microchipping of Dogs Regulations.

Commenting on the heartwrenching case, ISPCA CEO Dr Andrew Kelly said: ”This was a horrific way to transport these vulnerable puppies and the person they were seized from had no regard for their welfare.”

“We do not know exactly where these puppies originated from in Ireland but our investigations are continuing,” he added.

Commenting on the severity of the situation, he continued: “The ISPCA believes it is time for a crackdown on illegal behaviour by dog breeders in Ireland and is calling on all local authorities to enforce the DBE legislation robustly and to take action where breeders fail to comply.”

Weighing in on the discussion, an undercover inspector for the Scottish SPCA confirmed: "Unfortunately the puppy trade is big business in Scotland, with thousands of dogs being brought into the country each year, from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland in particular.”

“In the case of the puppies being smuggled into Scotland in the boot of a car, we were able to get these poor animals signed over to the ISPCA who can now find them loving new homes,” he added.

The puppies, which include Shih Tzu’s, Bichon Frise, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Pugs and Cocker Spaniels, were given a full veterinary examination in the ISPCA’s National Animal Centre in Co Longford after being returned to Ireland.

Once old enough, the ISPCA have confirmed that each individual puppy will be spayed or neutered before being re-homed in the near future.

The puppies were seized by the Scottish SPCA as part of Operation Delphin.

Forget scented candles, sexy lingerie and Barry White's back catalogue because when it comes to the no-pants-dance, it sounds like most of us have been going about it the wrong way – not literally, but you know what we mean.

According to sexperts at the University of Utah, couples who rolls up their sleeves and don the Marigolds together have a better sex life than the rest of us who spend hours perfecting the classic yawn and stretch on Date Night.

It seems a division of labour when it comes to household chores is the perfect aphrodisiac, with research showing that couples who share chores have sex, on average, 6.8 times a month in comparison to five times a month for couples who don't.

"Contemporary couples who adhere to a more egalitarian division of labor are the only couples who have experienced an increase in sexual frequency compared to their counterparts of the past," Cornell University's Sharon Sassler said.

Commenting on the study's findings, she continued: "Other groups – including those where the woman does the bulk of the housework – have experienced declines in sexual frequency."

"This finding is particularly notable given reports indicating that sexual frequency has generally declined worldwide over the past few decades," she added.

Now, this is research we can definitely get on board with.

We all know it might be hard to keep up with the Kardashians, but it's even harder to keep up with the Jenners right now.

Ever since Kylie and her older sister Kendall carved out their own careers and established their own specific fan base, their respective lifestyles have been subject to intense scrutiny.

And while attention generally focuses on Kendall's modelling career, Kylie's love life is more often than not the subject of discussion on various social media platforms.

So, it's no surprise that Kylie's on/ off boyfriend, Tyga, has grabbed headlines this week after uploading a controversial snap of the youngest Jenner sister.

After sharing a snap of Kylie perched on his bed alongside a snide caption which read 'They always come back', 26-year-old Tyga added further fuel to the fire that his romance with the cosmetic queen was officially back on.

However, it looks like the rapper had a change of heart – which we're hoping was due to his seriously disrespectful caption – and decided to delete the post, but not before die-hard fans caught sight of it on his page.

The snap, which clocked up a whopping 27,921 likes before it disappeared, is only the latest instalment in the Tyga/Kylie romance, so watch this space…

If Disney movies have taught us anything, it's that a relationship with a handsome prince is something every girl should aspire towards, but it seems reality is very, very different.

Opening up about the seven-year relationship she shared with Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy admits that she found it incredibly difficult to deal with the media intrusion and paparazzi attention that went hand-in-hand with a royal romance.

"I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible," she told The Times during an interview which dealt with her time in the spotlight and the effect her 'party girl' rep had on her.

30-year-old Chelsy, who qualified as a solicitor and currently promotes an ethical jewellery brand, admitted that the romance was far from the fairytale many of us would imagine.

Reflecting on the times she was chased by photographers desperate for a snap of the young couple, Chelsy said: "It was so full-on: crazy and scary and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn't cope."

Chelsy, who met Prince Harry in 2004, eventually called time on the relationship in 2011 before returning to her native Zimbabwe, saying: "It was nuts. That's also why I wanted to go back to Africa. Now it's calm, it's fine."

Despite rumours that the pair may be reconciling, Chelsy insists she and Harry are simply on good terms and says she'll always 'be good friends' with the royal.

Wearing the face off your significant other – or indeed a random stranger who's caught your eye – is often part and parcel of a night out, but it looks like one bar in Galway has had to get stern on its patrons when it comes to this little issue.

Much-loved Galway hotpsot, Róisín Dubh, has taken to Facebook to remind its customers that the bar is only for ordering drinks, and not an invitation to play tonsil tennis in front of the poor bar staff.

Uploading a snap of a handwritten sign which reads 'No shifting at the bar please – sound', the good folk behind the cosy Galway hangout added:"Wait until after you get your drinks, please."

Commenting on the status which has been liked hundreds of times since its upload on Saturday, one Facebook user wrote: "To our visitors, this means no sloppy kissing or pulling at the bar until you've swallowed."

That's it ladies, you've been warned.

This might not come as any surprise to the people of the Republic's Rebel County, but it sounds like they have one VERY big fan in the form of Natalie Dormer from none other than Game of Thrones.

It turns out the actress, who plays Margaery Tyrell in the smash-hit HBO show, has a bit of a grá for the People's Republic of Cork, and does her best to visit as often as she can.

Natalie, who says she first fell in love with the southern county when filming The Tudors with Jonathan Rhys Meyers, was discussing the show's sixth series when focus turned to her interest in Co. Cork.

While explaining that she doesn't get to visit our little green isle as much as she'd like, she does admit that she's already earmarked her favourite spots.

"I’ve been to Kinsale and to Baltimore as well and they were both absolutely beautiful," she gushed. "The scenery there, and the landscape, it’s my favourite thing about Ireland. Well, that and the food!"

And while the star, who got engaged to Irish director Anthony Byrne in 2011, is clearly head over heels about Ireland, that doesn't mean she hasn't faced her fair share of challenges when dating an Irish man.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the 34-year-old actress explained: "There were translation issues in the beginning of the relationship but we worked through them."

"We’re the personification of the Anglo-Irish Agreement. I now know all the Irish idioms. We had long debates about it not being a hot press but an airing cupboard," she added.

Hmmm, sounds like Anthony needs to work a bit harder on that one.
