After coming to the end of a gruelling 10-month world tour, Adele has justifiably given herself props for playing a staggering 107 shows in less than a year.

"I just finished my 107 shows in 10 months. 100% live every night," she wrote on a recent Instagram post."I bloody smashed it, even if I do say so myself."

And yet, just hours after her final show of the year, Adele announced she would be playing another two dates at Wembley Stadium next summer.

Sharing a video on Twitter, Adele directed fans to her website where they could pick up tickets for her June 29 and July 1 gigs – dates which are meant to mark the 'official' end of her world tour.

The London dates which have been labelled 'The Finale' have sent her fans into a tailspin as they grappled with the notion of procuring tickets to see the world-famous singer in her hometown.

"You will have completely toured the world!" wrote one. "U r an amazing woman & how beautiful would it be to see you in your hometown!" (sic)

"How many years have I gotta wait for u? When will I see u Adele? I'll wait for whole of my life to get chance to see u…I swear." (sic)

Tickets for The Finale go on general sale on December 2 at 10am GMT.

And we are hyperventilating.

Since entering the jungle last week, it seemed Scarlett Moffatt of Gogglebox fame has been on course to take this year's I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here crown.

But while a major hit with the vast majority of viewers, Scarlett's conduct at camp hasn't impressed everyone on the outside world.

It appears the current dynamic between Scarlett, Danny Baker and Martin Roberts has come to the attention of a leading anti-bullying charity who feel Scarlett and Danny have targeted the Homes Under the Hammer host.

After ignoring Scarlett's requests to restock the water supply, Martin was reminded by Danny that Scarlett is currently President of the camp and he needs to adhere to her rules.

"Martin, she’s the President mate – whatever she says to do, you do it," Danny told Martin. "You always answer her back like she’s some silly kid and she isn’t.”

The tension appears to have gotten the better of Martin who, at times. was reduced to tears over the disputes.

Commenting on Martin's experience in the jungle, National Bullying Helpline founder Christine Platt said: “It’s a pity there are no phones as we would want to encourage Martin to call us right now."

“All forms of bullying or psychological abuse are abhorrent to us. It seems Scarlett and Danny are colluding and collectively targeting Martin."

“If the bullying has reached the point where the target is showing visible signs of distress, ITV need to intervene as a matter of priority" she added.

Responding to the controversy, ITV said: "The welfare of our celebrities is of utmost importance."

"We constantly monitor and talk to them to check their welfare and have procedures in place to address any unacceptable behaviour.”

Shortly after news broke that Kanye West had been hospitalised yesterday, long-term friend John Legend was quizzed about the rapper's state of mind and wellbeing in recent weeks.

While reluctant to speak out of turn, the All of Me singer did acknowledge that Kanye had endured considerable stress since his wife Kim was the victim of an armed robbery in Paris.

"I think he's been through a lot lately with what happened to Kim," John told ET host Nischelle Turner. "I think he needs to rest."

"I think his fans will be patient and let him rest. He'll come back stronger, hopefully," he added.

Having cancelled his tour prior to being admitted to a hospital in LA, Kanye's mental health was discussed at length today, but it was not a topic which John wanted to engage with.

"I'm not gonna speak out of term and speak for him," the singer stressed. "All I can see is what he said to the public — and that is he's tired and needs some rest."

As it happens, John was with Kim shortly before Kanye was admitted to hospital and admitted that the turn of events was a cause for concern.

“We were with Kim actually, you know, right before all of that,” he said on CBS' This Morning earlier today.

“I was concerned by what I saw, so hopefully he’s getting some rest and some time to figure things out”.

Kanye is currently under observation after police responded to a medical welfare phone call yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí in Co Kildare have released further information on an attack which resulted in the hospitalisation of an 18-year-old NUI Maynooth student on Sunday night.

Kym Owens from Castleblayney was making her way to her accommodation in the Moyglare Abbey estate when she was seriously assaulted.

Appealing to potential witnesses to come forward with any information they may have pertaining to Kym's attack, Supt. Gerry Wall offered further details which may help to jog the public's memory.

"The assault took place between 8.15pm and 8.30pm on Sunday, November 20," he explained. "The road was well lit and this is a private estate but on that night there were very foggy conditions that reduced visibility."

Supt. Wall explained that the first year Arts student had arrived back to the university town from her home town on the A2B bus service just minutes before the incident took place.

"Kym made her way from Maynooth town after she got off the bus which is about a kilometre from here Moyglare Abbey estate and travelled up here."

“She was within 500 meters of her digs when she was seriously assaulted and left unconscious on the footpath here behind me."

"Did you get on or off that bus? Did you arrive on that bus that evening or were you in the Maynooth area?" Supt Wall asked.  “Were you in the Moyglare Estate area between 7pm and 9pm? Did you see anything suspicious?"

Kym, who has been described as 5’3 in height with long brown hair, was wearing a dark green coat over a red hoodie with black jeans and white converse runners and carrying a distinctive yellow and green bag with the word ‘Castleblayney’ written on it at the time of the assault.

It has been established that Gardaí patrols have increased in the university town since Sunday night's incident while Kym remains in a stable but serious condition in Blanchardstown Hospital.

Anybody with any information is asked to contact the incident room at Leixlip Garda Station on 016667800, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111 or any Garda station.

With countless X Factor viewers fuming over the fact aspiring rapper, Honey G, is still in the running to win this year's show, Simon Cowell has weighed in on the controversy.

Responding to criticism that the judging panel voted for Honey G over Ryan Lawrie in order to create further buzz around the show's novelty act last weekend, the music mogul insisted that the judge's decision had nothing to do with favouritism.

In fact, Simon appeared to suggest that when it comes to voting acts off, the four-strong judging panel are actually playing the long-game.

"You know what, you have to make a call in the moment," Simon explained.

"And I think, if we’re being honest with each other, watching the show last night, I can see a clear… three or four people who’ve got a real shot."

Suggesting that Ryan didn't have what it takes to make it to the final, Simon continued: ""I don’t think Ryan would have gone further."

"We do the sing-off to see A) who’s best and B) who wants it the most. Whatever you do, you’re gonna be unpopular."

But if you think Simon sees Honey G wearing the X Factor crown this year, you'd be wrong.

Like the rest of us, he doesn't imagine Honey G will clinch it despite her success thus far.

"But the truth is, unless Honey performs a miracle, she’s not gonna win this show. I don’t think she can."

Tell that to Ryan, Simon.

It's been 12 years since the last episode of Friends aired and a staggering 22 years since it first hit our TV screens, and yet it remains a steadfast favourite among millions.

While some sitcoms are incredibly quick to date, there's just something about Friends which makes it as relevant today as it was in the mid 90s, isn't there?

And while we still sing along to its iconic theme tune and get a frission of comfort from its title sequence, it seems there are six particular people who weren't as impressed by the show's lead-in.

Opening up about the programme which catapulted her into super-stardom, Jennifer Aniston revealed that she and her five co-stars weren't exactly bowled over by requests to dance in a fountain.

Speaking on The One Show recently, Jennifer said: "We felt it was a little… I don't know. Dancing in a pond? A fountain felt sort of odd."

The star, whose hairstyle during Friends revolutionised salon trips, admitted they agreed simply because they didn't have a say in the matter, confessing: "We did it because we were told to."

And while the idea of waltzing around a fountain for the heck of it didn't exactly appeal, there's no doubting Jennifer holds her decade on the show in very high regard.

Confessing to watching re-runs of the show, Jennifer told host Alex Jones: "I can't help it."

"First, I'm trying to remember which episode it is, and then half the time I'm saying to myself, 'I don't remember that,' You get sucked into the nostalgia of it."

We're with you on that one, Jen.

The following is an extract from Peter Varga's Humans of Dublin.

Drawn from the archives of the incredibly popular online blog, Peter Varga's Humans of Dublin gives a voice to the people of our capital city.

A collection of portraits, memories and snapshots, Humans of Dublin provides a thought-provoking insight into the Irish capital and its vibrant and diverse inhabitants.

Pictured above is Aoife who shares her story of bereavement and reconcilIation.

Two years ago my mam passed away suddenly, just a couple of days after her 45th birthday.

The last thing she said was, ‘Night, Aoife, love you,’ and by the time I got downstairs to say goodnight she was struggling to breathe. I remember just feeling numb and afraid.

I’ve always used my work as a coping mechanism, and I don’t think it’s fully hit me yet, as all my energy has gone into my work.

Being an illustrator has become a full-time job now. I finished college in June just gone and had a lot more free time on my hands to think about everything, which was tough because I always pushed my feelings to the side.

After having time to think, I made the decision to set out for my biological father one last time. I had been looking for 17 years with only his name to go on, so I decided to contact an agency to find him, and they did!

I travelled to the UK with family and I got to meet him for the first time in my life. As soon as I saw him, I knew it was him. We had the exact same eyes and smile, and were both lost for words, so just hugged for ages.

We got on great and spent the day together sharing stories and catching up. Leaving was really tough, though – he had explained to me he has a problem with drink.

Hopefully us getting in touch will give him the strength he needs to get help. It’s the beginning of a new chapter for the both of us.

In a move which didn't exactly endear him to certain husbands and boyfriends at the time, Robbie Williams once suggested he had slept with all but one of the Spice Girls back in the day.

Reflecting on his comment recently, Robbie said: "I told a joke a long time ago. And it sort of got out of hand. You know Back For Good the Take That song, I used to sing that on stage."

"I still do. On one particular tour before it I introduced it by saying ‘I am very fortunate to have been in Take That and four out of five of the Spice Girls.’

"I would like to apologise to all the Spice Girls involved and their husbands and boyfriends. I know a few husbands and boyfriends weren’t too happy with the joke," Robbie admitted.

And while the comment may have been made years ago, Mel B decided it was time to address the remark during a recent interview, but after misquoting the Candy singer, she inadvertently spilled some deets on her former band mates.

"He actually publicly apologised to me for all that mess… saying he had apparently gotten it on with all five Spice Girls. He wishes!" she told The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

"I was the one he never did," Mel insisted. “He’s a friend of mine… Yuck! He’s been with my friends, I don’t want sloppy seconds."

So in actual fact, both Robbie and Mel are saying the same thing…  how interesting

Having sold her first wedding to OK! magazine and endured two high-profile divorces, it's no real surprise that Cheryl Cole has done a full 180 in recent months and decided to keep her private life… well… private.

But that doesn't mean the star isn't aware of the scrutiny and speculation which surrounds her on a daily basis – a fact of life she addressed during a recent interview with The Sun's Fabulous magazine.

The former Girls Aloud singer, who is said to be expecting a baby with boyfriend Liam Payne, is refusing to feed into rumours, and insists the public can take from that whatever they want.

"I am happier than I've ever been before. Now is a good time in my life," she said.

And while she refused to confirm or deny any rumours, Cheryl hinted that the public have a good insight into how the star is feeling at various points in her life.

"I know you can tell exactly what is going on with me. My eyes give everything away," she admitted.

"I can't ever hide my emotions, and it's great that you can see I'm really happy. I learned to be less apologetic and not to give a sh*t about what people say."

While Cheryl and Liam haven't addressed the pregnancy reports, the couple's friends, Kimberley Walsh and Olly Murs, haven't done much to dispel the rumours.

Cheryl's really playing the long-game with this one.

Yesterday, fans of Gay Byrne were saddened to learn that the legendary broadcaster is facing a diagnosis of prostate cancer.

Making the candid announcement on his Lyric FM radio show on Sunday afternoon, the former Late Late Show host revealed that he will be absent from the programme next week because he is expected in hospital to undergo a series of tests.

Last night, the 82-year-old offered The Irish Sun a glimpse at how he intends to cope with his health concerns when he told the paper he has no option but to maintain a positive outlook.

“You don’t have any choice but to have a positive outlook,” said Gaybo.  “You have to have the best outlook possible.”

“You have to remember there are a huge collection of fellas who have survived prostate cancer.  They all survived and are doing well and why couldn’t that apply to me?”

Discussing his decision to make the news public, the father of two said he wanted stop the production of rumours.

“I just made the announcement because I wouldn’t be doing the show next week and to stop the rumours starting that I was dead or gone.”

He explained that doctors think he has “a little cancer of the prostate” but admitted that they won’t know for sure until the end of next week.
