If there’s one thing we love more than a festival devoted to food, it’s a festival devoted to drink.

Whether we’re supping it, learning about it or playing games based on it, we’re open to any event which honours the best spirits, beers, wines, bubbles, coffees and sodas in the world.

Thankfully for us, we can do all three at Tippletown – Brewtonic’s three day festival in Dublin – next month.

Kicking off on November 18 and running until November 20, WigWam on Middle Abbey Street will become a veritable haven for beverage-lovers, and we are totally on board.

From talks given by the Irish Craft Cocktail Awards to Brewtonic Beer Pong and much, much more, this festival has something for everyone.

With Halloween long behind you by the time the festival kicks off and Christmas still five weeks away, this is the perfect way to break up the monotony of winter!

"There’s nothing wrong with your husband… he’s not dead." he reassured her, "He’s simply living for the weekend. We see it all the time. Early ’30s, steady job, no kids, zero chance of promotion."

They may have collaborated numerous times over the years, but it looks like the relationship between Kanye West and Jay Z is on very thin ice right now.

In a classic Kanye move, the Life of Pablo rapper told an audience in Seattle this week that the 99 Problems singer has avoided contact with him and his wife in recent weeks.

Referring to Kim's ordeal in Paris, Kanye expressed disbelief that Jay Z hadn't made an effort to check in with him following the high-profile incident.

"Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘how you feelin?'” Kanye ranted from the stage.

“You wanna know how I’m feelin'? Come by the house." Kanye raged. "Bring the kids by the house. Like we’re brothers. Let’s sit down."

Revealing more than most audience members may have expected, Kanye revealed that his family is nowhere near as close to Jay and Bey's as people might think.

“I can’t take this sh*t bro. Our kids have never even played together.” the rapper added.

Unfortunately for Kanye, it doesn't look like he and Jay Z are going to grow closer any time soon as a source close to the Empire State of Mind rapper revealed that Jay has no time for 'Ye.

“Jay can’t stand him,” they said. “He looks at him as this crazy, eccentric motherf*cker he can tolerate in small doses.”

Well, that's that then.

There are many, many things grown men should just never do.

And top of the list is to wear a nothing but a jaunty cap while wandering around the house butt-naked.

Unfortunately for Marnie Simpson's Snapchat followers, the Geordie Shore's star boyfriend, Lewis Bloor, never got the memo and was more than happy to be filmed doing exactly that.

After recently deleting all trace of Lewis from her social media accounts, Marnie came back with a bang this week… and we really wish she hadn't.

Sharing footage of the TOWIE star wearing little more than a grin – oh, and a strategically-placed aubergine – Marinie confirmed that the love story which blossomed in the Celebrity Big Brother house is far from over.

Well, thanks for that.

Shayne Ward, who rose to fame on the X Factor before securing himself a role on Britain's longest-running soap, has been left mortified this week after a tape featuring him in a compromising position surfaced online.

The footage, which reportedly shows Shayne enjoying… ahem… a solo endeavour, was recorded in 2014 before Shayne started a relationship with current girlfriend Sophie Austin.

Commenting on the nature of the video, a source close to the star said: "This video is years old. Shayne was single at the time and it happened when he was on tour with War of the Worlds."

Despite this, it's understood Shayne is mortified by the tape, with the insider adding: "He’s so embarrassed this has happened."

"The conversation between him and the supposed woman have left him hugely red faced," they continued. "He can’t believe anyone would do this."

Weighing in on the controversy, a Twitter account known as Celebrity Busted have insisted they were not responsible for the leak.

"I DID not release, nor did I have any attention to release any content of them. The videos were hacked from our Dropbox account," the tweet read. (sic)

Responding to allegations they circulated the footage, they wrote: "I wish you would get your fact right. We did not release the tape. We were hacked and content was STOLEN and then sold."

Shayne is currently expecting his first child with Sophie.

When Lauren Conrad wasn't busy bemoaning the lack of 'real people' in Los Angeles, she was – as a student of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising – up to her eyes in magazine clippings and fabric cuttings.

So, after making a name (and a fortune) for herself in the fashion industry, it's no real surprise that the former reality TV star still chooses to create her own Halloween costumes.

Teasing her fans and followers this week on Instagram, Lauren shared sneak peeks of the work in progress before unveiling the finished design on her website.

Uploading a snap of the items involved, she wrote: "Made my Halloween costume today! As usual lots of tulle was involved."

Fans sent themselves into a frenzy guessing what she might be making, with general consensus concluding that she was opting for a ballerina.

Lauren kept schtum before sharing another snap which suggested her fan base were way off, writing: "Any guesses?! We’ll be revealing the full costume tomorrow, but until then, here’s a little sneak peek to give you a hint!"

 
"Mimes? Dolls? Maybe some Alice in Wonderland vibes?" wrote one while another added: "Deck of cards? Queen of hearts, joker?"

A pro at milking any situation, Lauren held her fans in suspense before eventually sharing a full-size snap of the costume.

And in fairness, it's pretty cute.

"Well, ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over!" wrote Lauren. "This year, my girlfriends and I are dressing up for Halloween as (drumroll, please)… Circus performers!"

"I came up with this idea a few months ago when I saw this sequin star dress from Valentino’s Star Studded collection. I had a vision of putting a pastel twist on regular circus performer costumes and incorporating the star sequins from that dress into our own costumes."

"So, my friends Lauren and Hannah and I got a bunch of tulle, some pretty ribbon and feathers, put on some circus music, and started crafting away." she added.

She may be part of one of the biggest girl bands in the world right now, but Jade Thirlwall of Little Mix fame fought her fair share of demons before establishing herself as a bonafide popstar.

Opening up about her issues in the band's autobiography, Jade explains that a number of events led to the development of an eating disorder which saw her weight plummet to just six stone.

From navigating problems at home and school to dealing with the loss of a family member, a 13-year-old Jade attempted to gain control by monitoring her diet in a move which eventually resulted in her hospitalisation.

"Anorexia is a self-destructive thing and you become stubborn, so when people are trying to tell you something you get it into your head that they're against you and you're not going to listen," she wrote.

Revealing the extent of the problem, Jade explained: "My periods stopped and things were getting out of control but I don't think I really cared about what was happening to me."

"I felt so depressed at the time that I just wanted to waste away and disappear." she admitted.

The singer pinpoints her meeting with medical professionals as a turning point in her battle against the illness, writing: "It took going to hospital to make me realise that it wasn't a game, it was something really serious."

"They sat me down in the clinic and were quite tough at first, spelling it out: 'You're destroying your body and if you keep doing this you will die'" she remembers.

Thankfully, Jade received the help she needed and slowly returned to a healthy weight during her teens,

If you’re over 5’8” in height, then chances are your options are relatively limited when it comes to picking up jeans on the high street.

First dates are an absolute minefield.

From choosing a location, deciding on an outfit and reining in your weirdness, it can actually feel like more of a chore than anything else.

With that in mind, it's always helpful when the person you're meeting plays by the rules and actually, you know, acts normal.

For a woman so in tune with social media, it seems hard to believe that Geordie Shore's Marnie didn't anticipate the speculation which would ensue when she made the decision to delete all trace of her boyfriend Lewis Bloor from her Instagram page.

Marnie, who got together with Lewis during Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, decided to address the rumours that she and the TOWIE star had split during an appearance on Loose Women today.

Dismissing the reports that she and Lewis had called time on her romance, Marnie admitted that while they are finding their long-distance relationship difficult, they are still very much together.

"It’s really really tough just because we live so far away from each other.” Marnie admitted. "We’re working through it. It’s hard."

Acknowledging the fall-out from her social media move, Marnie appeared to regret deleting the photos, saying: "We had an argument and I went and deleted every single picture of him off Instagram.”

“I forget everyone’s looking and I thought, ‘Why have I done that?’ Like, now I’ve put so much pressure on us," she added.

And Lewis didn't help matters either after tweeting a message which appeared to suggest he was content with developments, writing: "One door closes another one opens that's how life works."

In a move straight out of a cinematic love story, one couple from the United States recently returned to Ireland in order to retrieve a pendant they buried in Co Cork almost 30 years ago.

Bill and Laurie McGrath were in the first flush of their relationship back in 1990 when they decided to mark it by burying one half of a pendant alongside a love letter during a visit Laurie made to Co Cork.

Laurie, who was spending two months travelling around Europe with her friends, decided to bury her 'Best Friend' pendant in a cemetery in Castletownroche in the hopes that one day she and Bill would return to Ireland together to find it.

Bill recalls the moment which led to the decision, saying: "Let me give her something we could still look forward to when we go back."

"You break it in half,’ I said. ‘You wear one half and bury the other half in Ireland and we’ll go dig it up someday," he remembered.

And after 25 years of marriage, the couple, who are now grandparents and live in Conneticut, made the journey back to Ireland, and found the piece of jewellery Laurie buried a quarter of a century before.

According to The Mirror, the couple were overjoyed to find it, with Bill saying: "“Here it is. Twenty-six years. That’s true love.”

"There it was as shiny as could be. We just cried and said," Laurie admitted. "I can’t believe this. This is amazing.’"

And if anyone need us, we'll be weeping in a corner.
