There's barely a house in Ireland that doesn't boast a Christy Moore album, and we all know a 21st party, wedding reception, or retirement shindig wouldn't be complete without a tune from the man himself.

So, we are absolutely PUMPED that the Kildare-native has confirmed he will be taking to the stage at Vicar St. later this year.

If you can chant the words to Joxer with the best of them or perform a haunting rendition of Ride On after a G&T or ten, it's time to bring your A-game, and get your hands on those tickets, ladies.

Christy will be giving it socks in the famous Dublin venue on December 19 and 20 as well as Jan 2 and 3, with tickets costing between €39.50 and €49.50.

They will be going on sale Thursday September 29 at 9am, so you have six days to prepare yourselves.

Ah, the lives of the rich and famous.

Those guys and gals have a person for every little thing – umbrella-holding, lace-tying and, if Ariel Winter's latest Instagram upload is anything to go by, bum-decorating.

Taking to the social media site last night, the Modern Family actress shared a shot of herself having her bum… well… tended to by a young man who probably can't believe his luck.

"BUTT really, don't miss a spot," she captioned the shot alongside the words 'secret shoot' and 'embrace your curves'.

Her followers, unsurprisingly, didn't know what to make of the snap, with some quick to wheel out the puns and others only dying to replace the guy in question.

"Now that's an interesting job. Did he have to start at the bottom and work his way up?" wrote one while another added: "What do I have to do to get his job?"

Thankfully for Ariel, many of her followers focussed on the main aim of the secret shoot, with one writing: "So happy to see a young lady out there who promotes a healthy body image. Good on you Ariel!"

This week is going from bad to worse for Brad Pitt, but it looks like he might have an unlikely ally in his ex-wife.

Following rumours that the award-winning actor had been accused of child abuse, Jennifer Aniston has reportedly expressed disbelief over the allegations.

According to a source close to the former Friends star, Jennifer has no time for the reports which suggest her ex-husband was physically and verbally abusive towards his children.

"Jen Aniston doesn’t believe for a second that Brad is abusive to those kids," an insider told HollywoodLife.

"It breaks her heart to hear those kinds of accusations being thrown around," the insider continued. "She may not love everything Brad did in their relationship but she knows he’s not capable of doing anything so horrible."

While Jen, no doubt, has her own opinion of her ex following their shock split more than a decade ago, the actress maintains that Brad is not guilty of the reports currently doing the rounds online.

“Brad at his core is a good man. He has flaws like anyone else but hurting his kids isn’t one of them." the insider added.

And it looks like Jennifer may be onto something as the LAPD have recently confirmed that thr rumours are without merit.

LAPD Officer Jenny Houser recently told CNN "LAPD is not handling any report of allegations of child abuse for Mr. Brad Pitt."

Amid the drama of the Brad-Angelina divorce, some good news has emerged from Hollywood this week: Adam Levine and Behati Pinsloo have become parents!

The Maroon 5 singer and his model wife have welcomed a baby girl into the world, according to E! News.

Adam and Behati have reportedly chosen a rather unusual name for their little one: Dusty Rose.

While the details of the birth have not yet been released, we’ll keep you posted!

The Voice star Adam and Victoria’s Secret Angel Behati announced their pregnancy last March, with the couple going on to confirm shortly after that they were expecting a girl.

While this is a joyous time for Adam and Behati, we hope they’re not paying too much attention to the Twitter conversation regarding their newborn’s name.

Indeed, it seems not everyone is a fan of the moniker, with many speculating that the tot was named after ‘eyeshadow’.

“’Dusty Rose Levine’. They named their kid after a shade in an eyeshadow palette,” tweeted one amused fan.

 

 

 

Elsewhere, another Twitter user commented: “Here’s to 12 years of calling herself Rose, with that one friend who calls her Dusty just to aggravate her, before changing her name by deed poll.”

As authorities continue to investigate assault allegations against Chris Brown, reports suggest that this is not the only obstacle the singer is facing right now.

Having been recently arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, Chris is currently awaiting arraignment, and has, in the meantime, been approached by investigators from the Department of Children & Family Services.

According to TMZ, the star's ex, Nia Guzman, has filed a complaint against the singer in light of the claims against him, with reports suggesting that Nia, the mother of Chris' two-year-old daughter Royalty, is concerned for her child's safety.

It is understood that the With You singer refused officials and a member of the LAPD entry into his home on Thursday and forced them to wait outside his property.

Chris' court date following his most recent brush with the law has been postponed as officials further investigate the case.

So, Gogglebox Ireland FINALLY hit our screens last night and it's safe to say most of the nation are now officially hooked.

There are some songs on your iPod absolutely guaranteed to put a smile on your face no matter how you might be feeling, right?

Whether it reminds you of a holiday with the girls, a night out with the boyfriend or a weekend away with the family, our iPod is a veritable feels-fest.

And while memories and music are inextricably linked, it looks like there's one particular song which appeals to everyone across the board.

According to a group of researchers at the University of Missouri, Queen's Don't Stop Me Now has the ability to transport EVERYBODY to their happy place.

After surveying 2,000 people, neuroscientist Jacob Jolij studied 126 songs across a 50-year period and ultimately created a formula which determined which song would take the crown for 'the Happiest Song in the World'.

"The pattern was very clear," he explained. "The average tempo of a ‘feel good’-song was substantially higher than the average pop song."

"Where the average tempo of pop songs is around 118 beats per minute (BPM), the list of feel good songs had an average tempo of around 140 to 150 BPM."

And according to Jacob, Freddie and the crew were the clear champions… not for the first time either.

If ever we need further evidence that babies – and even photographs of babies – can turn people (and their brains) to absolute mush, we need look no further than Blac Chyna's Instagram page.

After uploading a photograph of her four-year-old son captured soon after his birth in 2012, Chyna was inundated with congratulations from fans who clearly misunderstood the situation.

Assuming that Chyna had given birth to Rob Kardashian's baby, countless Instagram users rushed to share in their delight last night despite the fact Chyna had captioned the image with her son's name – King Cairo.

"Rob finally is a daddy! Congrats to you all," wrote one confused member of the public while another added: "Ohhhhh soo nice to share the first photo of her!"

"He's so beautiful@blacchyna and @robkardashian! Congrats to you all!" added another.

Rushing in to clear up the confusion, more alert members of the Instagram community urged their fellow followers to pay closer attention to the captions which accompany images.

"Dats not Rob's baby. It's Chyna's son when he was born. It even says his name at the caption," one explained. (sic)

"This is her son, not her daughter that she's having with Rob," clarified another.

So nope, Chyna 'did not have her baby early', she was merely going for a ThrowbackThursday vibe, and probably regretting it now…

So, remember when Phoebe in Friends had triplets for her brother and his wife, and insisted on telling everyone she was having her brother's babies at every availably opportunity? 

Yeah, us too – like it was yesterday, in fact.
