According to numerous emerging reports, a family of five have been found dead at a house in Ballyjamesduff in Co. Cavan earlier today.

It has been established that Gardaí were called to the home in Oakdene, Barconey at noon where they discovered the bodies of a couple and their three children.

According to the Sunday Business Post, the man is understood be in his 40s, the woman in her 30s while the children are aged 13, 11 and 6 –  all of whom are well known in the area.

The Irish Times report that while a Gardaí investigation is currently ongoing, authorities are not seeking anyone else in relation to the five deaths.

It is understood a press conference will be held later this evening at Ballyjamesduff Garda station.

Paying tribute to her husband of two years, Glenda also shared a snap of them embracing on their wedding day, writing: "Today I met the boy I'm going to marry."

The couple have received messages from fans as well as friends with fond memories of the day.

"Happy anniversary you too … Great memories of a fab fun filled weekend," wrote one.

If you thought Stephen Bear was torn between two women, you're very much mistaken.

But it's not that he's suddenly declared himself a one-woman man, and turned his back on fellow CBB housemate, Chloe Khan, in an effort to rekindle his romance with former girlfriend Lillie Lexie Gregg.

Oh no, not Bear.

He has, in fact, got his eyes on yet another reality TV star… well, he does if Laura Carter's recent interview with The Sun is anything to go by, that is.

The reality star, who made headlines for her raunchy on-screen antics with Marco Pierre White Jr, during her own stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house has revealed that Stephen Bear has shown more than a passing interest in her.

Opening up about an encounter they had in the past, Laura said: "We met on a night out, spent the night kissing and were all over each other and then carried on messaging each other for a while."

"He kept telling everybody in the club I was a 10/10 and he had to get with me," she revealed. 

"I ended up leaving quite early to go to bed that night and he then showed up at my door at 6am with some friends," she explained, "I’d just woke up and he was on his knees begging to come in for a booty call."

Offering more details than anyone with a delicate stomach might want, Laura insisted that she won't be drawing a line under the episode.

"We haven’t done anything too sexual yet, that’s all I’m saying. I will be getting in touch with him," she insisted.

Look, we all know guys and girls are pretty different when it comes to wishing their mates a happy birthday online.

Us ladies pour our hearts out and make an effort to recall each and every milestone moment in our friendship.

And lads? Well, lads do not.

Surprisingly though, it looks like we're on our own when it comes to this particular post because thousands of Directioners are all over it.

From admitting that the snap had brought them to tears to declaring their love for the duo, it looks like it was only us grossed out by the wording… and the poo emoji.

There's nothing we loved more as children than coming up with cute and imaginative names for other people's pets, so the idea of doing it on a grander scale would have appealed to us immensely back in the day.

And following the birth of a southern white rhinoceros calf on Thursday August 25, Dublin Zoo have announced they need a hand naming the little lad, and that's where the children of Ireland come in.

Calling on our country's younger generation for assistance with this very important task, Dublin Zoo have asked for suggestions for the newest arrival which are based on his African origin.

"We are absolutely thrilled with the new arrival," said Helen Clarke-Bennet, team leader of the African Plains 

"Ashanti is an experienced mother and the birth was very relaxed. The mother and calf are bonding and will remain very close for the first year of his life," she added.

With only 20,000 of these incredible creatures left in the wild, Dublin Zoo are committed to assisting the survival of the near threatened southern white rhinoceros.

And we're committed to making sure it gets the greatest name ever,

According to reports emerging Stateside, Mariah Carey's sister has been arrested for prostitution in New York.

Alison A Carey, who has been estranged from the Hero singer for a number of years, was the subject of a sting operation after police investigated allegations that the 55-year-old had been prostituting herself out of a Saugerties hotel.

According to Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra, Alison identified herself as the sister of the award-winning performer – a claim which was confirmed after authorities investigated Carey's background.

It has been established that Alison uses lyrics from her sister's smash-hit songs in her online ads – postings which helped police track down Mariah's sister over the weekend.

Authorities have warned anyone who believes they may have a sexual encounter with Alison to seek medical attention.

Mariah's sister, who is due in Saugerties Town Court tomorrow, was sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

When Ryanair launched a sale last week in honour of their latest award, thousands of us salivated over Europe's slickest hotspots before making the most of the deal.

And with many still pumped over their super-cheap holiday abroad, online fraudsters have decided to cash in on the atmosphere by circulating a message which purports to offer two free Ryanair tickets in honour of the airline's 35th birthday.

Here's the thing though – Ryanair won't turn 35 until 2019 which led many to question the authenticity of the offer.

Confirming the public's scepticism, Ryanair took to their official Twitter account this morning to warn customers against the online scam.

"Please be aware of an online scam offering free Ryanair tickets," they wrote alongside an image of the fake offer. "This is not an official promotion."

You heard them, ladies – Steer well clear.

Ohhhh, we're having a moment here, ladies.

OK, so we all know Walk The Moon's Shut Up and Dance was one of the biggest tracks of last summer.

There are a number of female celebrities who we'd happily walk over hot coals for. (Chrissy Teigen, we're looking at you.)

Whether it's their attitude, their humour or their sense of style, some women make us want to be bigger and better at everything we do, and for Lena Dunham, that person is Rihanna.

Taking to social media earlier this morning, the Girls actor laid bare her feelings for the Work singer, and Twitter cannot cope with the accuracy of the sentiment.

"I would literally do anything for Rihanna," Lena wrote in a post which has been liked thousands of times in mere hours.

"I just want to make her as happy as she makes me. Whatever seh needs," she continued. "That's not creepy, right?"

Reassuring Lena that it's totally OK to feel her feelings – whatever they may be – the star's followers admitted that the feelings she has for Rihanna are the exact same as the ones they have for her.

"Does it feel creepy if I say I feel the same for you." wrote one. "I knew it wouldn't. I can be your second best friend after riri."

"That's exactly how I feel with you and Jack," added another follower, referring to Lena's relationship with Jack Antonoff of Fun fame.

Some of of Lena's fans, however, decided to play Devil's Advocate with the actress and tested her limits when it came to her love for Ri-Ri.

"What if she called you at 4am just to talk from a different time zone cuz she was lonely on tour?" wrote one.

"Would you drive her to the airport?" they added. "Would you help her move?"
