When Kendall Jenner recently moved house, not only did she net herself a seriously sweet pad, she also landed Jimmy Kimmel as a neighbour.

And as happens in Hollywood, Jimmy was quicker to invite his new neighbour onto his chat show than he was to extend an invite for dinner – something which didn't escape Kendall's attention.

While appearing on Jimmy's show during the week, Kendall called Jimmy out on the social faux pas, saying: "I hear you're a chef. And I want you to make me some food."

"I'm really offended you haven't invited me over yet," she told the show's host.

Quick off the mark as always, Jimmy replied: "Are you allowed to eat when you're on the cover of Vogue? It is permitted?" before adding: "We will invite you over to the house to eat something."

After Kendall laughed off the joke and accepted Jimmy's invitation, she said she feared it was a pity invite.

"Can I tell you something? It is a pity invite," he replied.

Ouch!

Cats are creatures of habit, we get that.

But when your need for ice cream is considered less important than a cat's need for ice cream, sparks are going to fly as one Twitter user found out this week.

Sharing screenshots of a conversation she had with her mother, Jenny Katz publicly outed her mam for caring more about Coco the cat's need for French vanilla ice cream than her own kid's.

Offering the public a back story for the heated exchange which took place between herself and her mam, Jenny said: "My mum will lay down and watch the news and Coco immediately knows it’s time."

"She sits right next to my mum and paws at the bowl when she wants more, it’s so cute."

But not so cute that Jenny felt she couldn't disrupt this nightly routine by chowing down herself.

Shame on you Jenny, even we knew that was Coco's.

No matter how much the movie industry might attempt to switch it up, the equation needed to throw together your standard romcom rarely changes.

Good-looking guy plus good-looking girl divided by life's challenges equals romcom success.

And, apparently, James Corden is no longer having it.

While speaking to Rolling Stone, the Late Late Show host admitted he has difficulty getting his head around the fact movie producers generally refuse to document the love story of your standard Joe.

"I could never understand when I watch romantic comedies the notion that for some reason unattractive or heavy people don’t fall in love,” he said.

Calling out the industry for the inconsistencies in their approach, James, who has struggled with his weight for most of his life, continued: "If they do, it’s in some odd, kooky, roundabout way — and it’s not. It’s exactly the same."

Using his own love story as a way to argue his point, he said: "I met my wife; she barely owned a television and worked for Save the Children. We sat down one night and we fell in love and that was it."

Who else thinks James could pen an absolute corker of a romcom?

Apparently you're only as good as your last record, so when it comes to a second album, the pressure is always on.

And after three years and still no sign of Lorde's, it looks like the Kiwi singer might be feeling the stress.

But so, reportedly, are her fans.

Deprived of any new material, fans of the Royals singer decided to take aim at the star who is currently sunning herself on holiday.

After making the decision to share snaps of her vacation on Instagram, Lorde was, according to the New Zealand Herald, forced to acknowledge the fact that her fans may be starting to lose interest in the singer.

"Do you think we'll ever get another album or should we just give up on you as an artist," wrote one of her 4.1 million followers.

And instead of ignoring the dig, Lorde decided to tackle it head-on, responding: "Give up on me if you want to!"

"I'm an artist, I write a record when I have enough special stories to tell, and it's all me, every melody every lyric, not some team who just start the machine up every eighteen months like clockwork."

With a parting shot at her critic, Lorde added: "The record is written, we're in the production stage now. I've worked like a dog for a year making this thing great for you guys."

Both comments have since been deleted, and we're sure Lore is having right ol' rant down the blower to Tay.

Playing an Adele track as we walk up the aisle is the closest most of us would ever come to having her at our wedding, but then we're not Vince and Ryan from the States, are we?

In an incredible stroke of luck, the singer spotted two fans dancing their socks off during a recent concert in the Los Angeles’ Staples Centre, and decided to call them up to the stage.

In the space of a minute, we learned that Vince and Ryan were engaged and set to marry in Montana next September – a ceremony which Adele will now be attending after graciously accepting their spur-of-the-moment invite!

"I would love to come," she told an overexcited Vince before assuring Ryan that she didn't have a rate and she'd 'do it for free'.

Having uploaded the incredible moment to YouTube earlier this month, the footage started really doing the rounds this week, and fans of the singer are unsurprisingly falling all over themselves.

"How did you guys NOT faint wtf" wrote one while another added: "If Adele says she's going, she's going! Congratulations on the wedding guys!"

Just imagine hearing Adele say yes to your wedding invitation…

Most of us have confined our Junior Infants photo to a neglected corner of our family home, but one girl has not only decided to unveil it to millions, but actually recreated it for her highschool yearbook.

Tyra Hunt decided to use her Kindergarten photo as inspiration for her Senior Year snap this week, and Twitter is LOVING it.

Amassing more than 92,000 likes and 31,000 retweets since its upload on Tuesday, the photo is a reminder to everyone that no matter how gormless you might look in your first school snap, you can look a whole lot worse in your last one if you put your mind to it.

With her mouth hanging open, her hair in pigtails, and a jumper in a very questionable shade of green, Tyra absolutely nailed her Kindergarten shot, and frankly we love her for it.

"You know she is destined for greatness," wrote one Twitter user while another added: "Seen it a million times, still cracks me up lol."

Tyra, take a bow.

The Kardashians themselves accept that had there been no sex tape, there would have been no reality TV show.

Turning what many considered a PR disaster completely on its head, astute businesswoman, Kris Jenner, harnessed her second oldest daughter's infamy into a multi-million dollar empire.

And while Kim may have her mother to thank for creating her career, the same can't necessarily be said for Kris' two youngest daughters, Kendall and Kylie.

Filmed from a young age, the Jenner sisters had little say in the matter, but unlike their older sisters, their current careers aren't based solely on reality TV, with both of them having branched out in other directions.

With Kendall making waves in the world of modelling and Kylie devoting much of her time to her cosmetic line, insiders say it's only a matter of time before the Jenner girls break free, and it sounds like Kylie is with them on that one.

According to Star magazine: "Kendall‘s got her modelling career, and Kylie would rather focus on her lipstick and cosmetics lines. They don’t need the show to survive."

"Kylie is so sure of herself that she recently dissed Kim, telling her big sister she was more famous now," they added.

Will Kris loosen the leash, though?!

There’s a school of thought which says women cheat with their emotions while men cheat with their… well, you know.

And if this is indeed the case, it may go some way towards explaining why Irish men are more forgiving when it comes to their partner’s decision to cheat.

According to a survey conducted by IllicitEncounters, women stray because they feel neglected and bored while men are more likely to cheat due to dissatisfaction in the bedroom.

The survey, which harnessed the experiences of 1,000 Irish people, indicated that as a result of this disparity 67 per cent of men are prepared to give their relationship another go after learning of their partner’s infidelity because they, in some way, understand their reasoning.

Us ladies, however, are a much less forgiving bunch, with only 52 per cent of Irish women saying they would stay with their husband after discovering his adultery.

“The phrase hell hath no fury like a woman scorned really does seem to be rooted in fact,” said Christian Grant of IllicitEncounters.

"This new IllicitEncounters research shows that women really do react much more badly to cheating that men and that a husband's adultery is more likely to end in divorce than a wife's.”

And while we’re more ruthless when it comes to ending a relationship due to a partner’s infidelity, we’re also a lot more stealthy when it comes to our own indiscretions.

According to Christian: “Women are better at covering up their cheating than men and it's clear that there are millions of husbands who have no idea about their wife's illicit behaviour."

“Women date more actively on IllicitEncounters.com than men – enjoying an average of three dates a month compared to men's two.”

Hmmm… not feeling too proud of anyone right now…

Remember when choosing a partner for a primary school tour was one of the biggest moments of the academic year?

You want to go with her, but she wants to go with someone else, but she promised and now you're going to have to call in a favour.

Well, it turns out schoolyard etiquette is no different to the world of celebrity as an MTV exec recently revealed when discussing the seating plan for the upcoming Video Music Awards.

According to those in the know, Hollywood's biggest and brightest are given the opportunity to request the artist they would like to share an arm rest with on the big night, and it sounds like Taylor Swift causes serious headaches for party planners.

Commenting on the confusion that arises as a result of this custom, MTV Vice President Gina Esposito explained that the Bad Blood singer is so popular that fellow celebs are chomping at the bit to cosy up with the star.

"She has so many good friends, and it was hard to figure out the ‘Taylor’ of it all in past years because so many people were requesting to sit by her and sit with her," Gina explained.

Reflecting on previous award shows, Gina said of Tay: "She’s often really requested."

Something tells us that that mightn't be the case this year…

Ever since high-kicking her way into our lives in 1999, Britney Spears has rarely been out of the public eye.

From her ascension to pop super-stardom and her heartwrenching fall from grace in 2007 to her triumphant return to the music industry, it's been a rollercoaster for the girl from Kentwood, Louisiana, and it looks like movie execs have decided to cash in.

According to ET Online, the life and times of one of the world's most famous popstars will be documented in a Lifetime TV movie next year.

While filming is due to begin in 2017 and Hail, Caesar's Natasha Bassett is set to play the Toxic singer in the biopic, Britney isn't all too happy about the upcoming flick and will not be taking part in any way.

"Britney Spears will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime biopic nor does it have her blessing," her management told TIME magazine this week.

Not that we'd want to go against our beloved Brit… but we can't WAIT for this one!

Irish comedian, Jarlath Regan, has today revealed that he will be undergoing surgery in the new year which will allow him to donate a kidney to his brother.

Jarlath, who hosts the incredibly popular podcast An Irishman Abroad, spoke with 2FM's Eoghan McDermott and insisted that the decision was a no-brainer.

"My brother rang me and said ‘Jar would you come over and test to see if you’re a match?" he said. "I went over and it’s happening in the new year."

Currently performing his show Arseways at the Edinburgh Festival, the former UCD student explained that his brother might have only survived another five years without the transplant.

In fairness, we should have agreed on a facial expression before hand.

Following the operation next year, the father-of-one will have added 25 to 30 years to his sibling's life expectancy – something which the comedian admits he relishes.

"Let’s be honest, too – it’s the ultimate good guy thing to do," he said. "From this point on, nobody can call me selfish. I have medical evidence that I am a decent human being."

Downplaying the matter while discussing it earlier today, the former RTÉ presenter simply said: "Families fall out over organ donation all the time."

"But the mad thing is there are people walking around with two kidneys when you only need one," he reasoned.
