We don't know about you, but walking up the aisle in a dress which has been described as 'full of bad memories and shattered hopes and dreams'' doesn't exactly scream 'dream wedding' to us, but maybe we're just more superstitious than most.

In a move which now has her in line to net a staggering £66,000, one Ebay user from the UK decided to auction her wedding dress after she learned that her husband of two years had been cheating on her.

In an ad which not only describes both her dress and the man she married in great detail, princess_p1988 explains that the sale of the gown will help fund her divorce.

Offering a detailed description to interested parties, she writes: "There are tiny buttons down the back but these are for decoration as it fastens with a long zip, so quite easy to get into compared to some of the monstrosities of dresses I've seen."

"As it reaches the floor, it is a little dirty around this area and so will need a dry clean before it's worn for your special day." she continued.

Adding, "I didn't have time to get it dry-cleaned myself before my cheating scumbag of a husband decided to call an end to our marriage. It cost my poor parents around £2000 brand new in 2014!"

"If you want a dress that is full of bad memories and shattered hopes and dreams then this is the one for you! Hope this dress brings you a lot more happiness than it brought me in the end and if not…well you can always sell it on here!"

Apologising for the lack of photos, princess_p1988 explains: "When I found out my husband was living with another woman, I pretty much burned/permanently deleted everything with his disgusting face on it!"

Not only inexplicably enthusiastic about the prospect of paying 30 times more than the original price, 75 Ebay bidders clearly have no qualms about rocking a dress associated with so many bad memories.

Ah, lads.

We all know those Kardashian / Jenners don't do things by halves, but becoming your own neighbour? Seriously?

So by the sounds of things, splashing out on one mansion just wasn't enough for Kylie Jenner as the 19-year-old cosmetic queen has decided to claim even more of Hollywood's Hidden Hills neighbourhood.

According to E! News, the youngest Jenner sister has chosen to expand her property portfolio by investing in a mansion… next door to the one she bought for a cool $6 mil in May.

Maybe she cleaned up on her recent birthday or her head for business has been drastically underestimated, but to be in a position to drop another $4.5 million mere months after her last enormous investment is some achievement for a 19-year-old.

Choosing to turn her new home, which sits on 3.9 acres and boasts four bedrooms and four bathrooms, into an office, Kylie will be keeping the original purchase as her actual live-in mansion.

Well, that's what we'd do anyway…yep, defo.

After learning that Margot Robbie spent most of her teenage years drinking tea and reading Harry Potter, we knew this was a woman after our own hearts.

But when she recently revealed that she enjoys a 'beer bath' every night, we struggled with the prospect of lowering ourselves into a bath of the cold stuff… even if Margot does it.

Thankfully for us, the Suicide Squad actress has remained true to her Aussie roots and wouldn't dare waste a good Fosters by lying it, and instead just downs them while showering or panned out in the tub.

Inspired by the costume designer on the set of Whisky Tango, the Wolf of Wall Street star told Harper's Bazaar that she tried to end every day with a 'boiling hot' bath and an ice-cold beer.

Having been told about the beer shower trend while filming, Margot recalls asking: ”I was like, ‘What’s a beer shower?’

Revealing all to Margot, the designer explained that she combines a beer and a steaming bath or shower to ensure a decent night's sleep.

"She said she drinks an ice-cold beer in a boiling-hot bath or shower, and it made her sleep," Margot explained. "I was like, ‘That sounds perfect!’

Having adopted the routine as her own, the 26-year-old Hollywood star revealed: "So now when I get home from work, I have a beer shower or a beer bath if I have time!”

Beats counting sheep anyway.

With slick new bars popping up all over our capital city in recent years, it takes something extra special to make the ladies here at SHEmazing! HQ sit up and take notice.

So props to Rob Kearney, Dave Kearney, Sean O’Brien and Jamie Heaslip – see what we did there? – for giving the city's Royal Hibernian Way a major injection of oomph by opening a new bar which can take you from after-work drinks to full-on Friday feels.

And in case you think this is the lads' first venture into the world of gastronomy, think again.

Hot on the heels of the success enjoyed by their recently extended Ballsbridge bar, The Bridge, the lads have decided to move a little closer to the hubbub of the capital's most iconic street.

Situated at the junction of Lemon and Duke St, the aptly named bar is a combination of everything we love about heading out – good beer, good food, and good decor .. oh, and a quartet of Ireland's most talented and – let's face it – delish sports stars.

Styled by interior specialists O’Donnell O’Neill Design, the bar combines timber, copper and leather aesthetics to create a slick environment in which to get your drank on.

Commenting on the exciting new venture, Lemon & Duke's managing director, Noel Anderson, said: "We’re very excited to open the doors of Lemon & Duke."

"It's been an extremely busy summer working on this project and the extension of The Bridge 1859. I’m really looking forward to working with the four guys to replicate the success of our venture in Ballsbridge,"

And hey, if you head to today's opening, you may just be served by Rob himself…

If Facebook's 'On This Day' feature is anything to go by, we're all guilty of posting absolute rubbish on social media.

Sometimes we recognise our past selves in the post and other times we can't believe we were the individuals responsible for that drivel, but thankfully we're rarely asked to account for ourselves.

Blake Shelton, on the other hand, has had a lot of explaining to do this week after tweets he posted between 2009 and 2011 have resurfaced – and gone viral.

Brought to public attention by @MusicFactsTea, fans of Gwen Stefani's boyfriend were a little stunned by the racist and homophobic undertones evident in the singer's tweets.

"Standing in line at a coffee shop in LA talking with the man in front of me. He orders a skinny caramel latte. I couldn’t tell he was gay!" Blake reportedly once tweeted.

"Wish the d*ckhead in the next room would either shut up or learn some English so I would at least know what he’s planning to bomb," he opined in another posting.

With social media users rushing to condemn the singer, Blake last night chose to issue a statement which attempts to explain away the questionable remarks.

"Everyone knows comedy has been a major part of my career and it's always been out there for anyone to see," he began in a post he shared on Twitter.

"That said anyone that knows me also knows that I have no tolerance for hate of any kind or form."

"Can my humor at times be inappropriate and immature? Yes. Hateful. Never," he insisted.

Finishing the statement with an apology, Blake concluded: "That said I deeply apologise to anybody who may have been offended."

We're not sure if that will be enough to placate furious Twitter users though…

We love Angels as much as the next girl – his pain walked down a one-way street, for crying out loud – but if we had £1.6 million to blow, we don't think we'd be spending it on Robbie Williams. (No offence, Rob)

Then again, £1.6 mil is a drop in the ocean to some people, so props to Russian oil magnate, Rashid Sardarov, who decided his little girl should be serenaded by Stoke on Trent's biggest export on the biggest day of her life.

According to Glamour, the Rock DJ singer was recently hired by Rashid to perform at his daughter Victoria's gothic-themed wedding to Anton Antonov at Prague Castle, and even Victoria Secret models found themselves a little starstruck.

Taking to Instagram to share a selfie she got with the dad-of-two, who is set to be recording new music with Take That in the near future, Sara Sampaio gushed: "He sang angels just to me #angelsinprague @robbiewilliams #nakedblack "

But if Robbie Williams, who recently bared all for Instagram, personally serenading individual guests sounds like the most surreal part of the ceremony which was said to cost £ 8 million, think again.

According to reports, wedding guests at the multi-million pound ceremony were served by wait staff sporting – wait for it – fangs and fake blood…yeah, we know.

We'd say the Let Me Entertain You Rob would have been all over that one…

According to emerging reports, Celebrity Big Brother bosses chose not to air distressing scenes involving Sam Fox on account of being 'genuinely concerned' for the 50-year-old's health and welfare.

This series of the long-running reality show has been widely considered one of its most controversial, and there's no doubt the high drama has taken its toll on some of the show's contestants – something which has raised alarm among show's producers.

Upon noticing that 80s popstar Sam appeared to be struggling, Big Brother called her to the diary room where she was ultimately treated by medics.

Speaking to the Daily Star, a Celebrity Big Brother insider explained: "Sam was not well at all. She was called to the diary room because they were concerned about her health."

"She had a full-blown panic attack. It got pretty serious and they were genuinely concerned," they continued.

In scenes which viewers were not shown, Sam, who has appeared in numerous reality shows including I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here,  was treated and given medication for her anxiety.

"Medics were sent in to make sure she was OK and not at serious risk," the insider revealed. "They even had to give her medication to help her calm down."

Celebrity Big Brother viewers will be aware the former popstar has been having difficulty while taking part in the now infamous reality television show.

As a revered athlete and an Olympic medallist, it would seem Michael Phelps has little to be angry about, but when a recent photo of the US swimmer surfaced, we all realised how wrong we were.

After being snapped looking like a toddler who had been put on the bold step at a birthday party, Michael realised there's little he can do right now that won't catch the attention of the media and the wider public.

With the image circulating widely online and social media users offering their own (often hilarious) explanations for Michael's stinker of a glare, it seems like the swimmer suddenly realised he'd need to address it himself.

"I just had music going on in my head. I had thoughts going on in my head, spitting water a little bit all over the place, so I was in my own zone," he explained in a response which has many of us calling B-S.

With millions suggesting that Michael's glare was directed at rival swimmer, Chad le Clos, Michael shut down the rumours.

Speaking to Today, he insisted: "I was not intentionally mean mugging him or giving him a dirty look."

A likely story Michael, a likely story.

With two particularly high-profile relationships behind them, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are reluctant to get too serious too soon, but it looks like it might be heading that way anyway.

Katy, who was once married to Russell Brand, and Orlando, who shares a son with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, began dating at the beginning of the year, and by the sounds of things, it's getting more serious by the second.

According to a source close to Orlando – he of the naked paddle boarding – he's head over heels about Katy, and can already see them starting a family of their own.

Spilling the deets to PEOPLE, an insider said: "He would love to settle down with Katy and have more kids. He hasn't been this serious about a girl since Miranda."

Explaining that Orlando has fallen hard for the Rise singer, they added that he "always gushes about Katy and thinks she is amazing in a million ways,"

But it sounds like Katy is leaning more towards keeping things simple, with the insider adding: "Katy's divorce from Russell [Brand] really messed her up emotionally."

So while they're not engaged just yet, this source is confident wedding bells are on the horizon, saying: "[It] seems to be heading that way."

Naked wedding, anyone?

Remember when Laura from HR sauntered into the staff room and casually asked for a tampon while Mick from Accounts busied himself with the teabags?

Yeah, me neither.

And that’s because it never happened.

If Laura from HR needed a tampon, you can be damn sure you’ll have found out via email or through a secret gesture the pair of you perfected for moments when you’re packing and she’s lacking.

Despite the fact millions of women deal with the inconvenience of a period every single month for half their lives, many of us still act like it’s something we should whisper about in case we embarrass ourselves… or anyone else.

Yes, there are those athletes who run marathons while free-bleeding and those college students who share photos of blood-stained underwear online, but these acts are often done as a form of statement.

In general, these efforts are made in order to raise awareness of 'period-shaming', sanitation failures in third world countries or global corporations’ stance on censorship.

But when referred to in day-to-day life, periods are spoken of in brief with a friend, in hushed tones with a colleague or in confidence with a practitioner.

And while menstruating is as normal a bodily function as peeing, sneezing or yawning, it’s only the former we approach in a covert manner.

If your co-worker began sliding packets of tissues up her sleeve before whispering she needed to sneeze in the other room, you’d begin asking questions.

If she commando-crawled to the bathroom so no one would guess she needed to pee, you’d definitely have a quiet word.

And if she assigned a non-specific gender to a common complaint by calling a headcold 'human problems', for example, you'd reassess your relationship.

When it comes to periods, we’re all in this together which – on the surface – sounds comforting, but it doesn’t do much to remove the taboo.

When they whisper, we whisper back. When they nudge, we nudge back.

And while no one’s suggesting we forego public decency in the name of our monthly cycle, is it too much ask that we don’t feel the need to go Ocean's Eleven on a co-worker when looking for a tampon?

Earlier this week, Chinese swimmer, Fu Yuanhui, left viewers slackjawed when she dared to refer to the arrival of her period in a matter of fact manner… in front of billions.

Unlike other instances where periods are discussed on a public platform – think stand-up comics, for example – it wasn’t said to provoke a reaction, but merely to help account for her performance.

“I didn’t swim well enough this time because my period came yesterday, so I felt particularly tired – but this isn’t a reason. I still didn’t swim well enough,” she told reporters.

These moments offer hope that there might come a time when periods will be referred to on a public platform as nothing more than a fact of life, and not something to be used as comedy club fodder, a political tool or a vehicle for men to express their repulsion/ wonder (delete as applicable) for the menstrual cycle

Although if the response to a recent furore in Georgia is anything to go by, we may be waiting.

A fitness centre in the city of Tbilisi recently made headlines after advising women they should bow out of that week’s swim sessions if they were wearing anything other than a pair of togs.

You know, like a tampon.

Concerned that menstruating women may contaminate the pool’s water, the powers that be went to the effort of creating and distributing signs that told women they could essentially eff off if they were on their period.

Ladies, if we make figurative lepers of ourselves by acting like our bodies are something to be embarrassed by every month, these guys made it literal.

And, unfortunately for us women, a worrying number of people agreed with the policy.

“Some people have strong periods that even when they use Tampax the blood leaks out,” wrote one Facebook user named Nawrus Akkam. “I am sorry but if I am swimming in the pool I do not want to see that.”

Really, Nawrus? Tell that to Fu Yuanhui.

When it comes to photoshopping, there very much exists an 'us versus them' attitude.

With both the modelling industry and many high-profile individuals quick to deny the extent to which they photoshop their photos, we mere mortals are often left feeling a mixture of cynicism and betrayal.

And while we're all too aware that photoshop is as vital an element as the model herself, many of us still aspire to attain the 'perfection' created after the final shot was snapped.

Pulling down the barrier which exists between us and them, model, Iskra Lawrence, decided to share an image of herself  before and after spending ten minutes photoshopping herself.

"Shocking it only took me about 10 minutes to photoshop myself to "perfection". But WTF is perfect?" wrote the 25-year-old.

"We weren't born thinking flaws made you less beautiful we are taught by society and the media that we should feel insecure about our flaws so we buy into certain products etc to "improve" or attain perfection."

"I wanted to post the unretouched pic right next to the retouched one so you could see the impact of how a few edits all done on my phone can completely change the way someone looks," Iskra explained.

Perplexed by the idea she would want to mislead her Instagram followers, she added: "I can't leave home everyday retouched & live in the "real world" airbrushed so why would I want to pretend to be online?"

In the post which has racked up almost 140,000 likes since its recent upload, Iskra finished by writing: "What's real is you and you are good enough cus those "flaws" make you completely unique." (sic)

And the best part? Most Instagram users thought Iskra looked better in the before snap.
