If your Monday Morning Blues are particularly bad this week, then footage of Britney Spears' recent trip to Hawaii might send you completely over the edge.

But as we're total gluttons for punishment here at SHEmazing! HQ, we couldn't help but watch the star's most recent Instagram upload over…and over…and over.

Accompanied by George Michael's Faith, Britney's video shows herself and her two boys, Sean and Jayden, getting their chill on during a trip we could probably only afford if we ever made good on the Prize Bonds Nana left us.

Fans of the Toxic singer have been quick to comment on the video which has raked in a staggering 796,000 likes in just nine hours, with one asking: "Can I be your assistant Brit??"

Another Instagram user made reference to the star's clear appreciation of a hotdog during the clip, writing: "Omg! So jealous you can eat that and still have an amazing figure!"

Ladies, watch at your peril…

Discussion focussing on the prevalence of doping at the Olympics has been gaining considerable momentum as Rio de Janeiro hosts the 2016 games, and Irish swimmer, Fiona Doyle, has refused to tiptoe around the subject following a disappointing result in a recent heat.

Despite both the International Olympic Committee and FINA – the world swimming governing body – declaring a ban on all Russian competitors who have either tested positive or been named in last month's investigation into state-sanctioned doping, Fiona lost out to a Russian swimmer who was initially denied admission to the heats.

Yulia Efimova found a loophole in her ban and was permitted entry in a decision which has ignited serious debate this week.

With Yulia having won the heat which saw Fiona ultimately lose out on a place in the semi-finals of the 100m breaststroke, the Limerick-born swimmer vented her frustration.

"Cheaters are cheaters," Fiona insisted. "She has tested positive five times and she’s gotten away with it again. It’s like FINA keep going back on their word, and the IOC keep going back on their word."

Devastated by the turn of events, the 24-year-old Irish athlete highlighted the inconsistencies which exist within the world of sport, saying: "And FINA caved in to Vladimir Putin, and that’s just not fair on the rest of the athletes who are clean."

"Who are you supposed to trust now?" Fiona asked. "They have signs all over the village saying we are a clean sport, and it’s not. And I just don’t think that’s fair."

According to the Irish Times, Fiona is reluctant to suggest her performance was hampered by the Russian's inclusion in the event, but admits that the overturning of the ruling has cast a shadow on her experience.

"There’s just been too much focus on cheaters, and I don’t like adding to that, but at the same time I think it has to be put out there." she said.

"But I don’t want to put my performance down to her," Fiona added. "I wanted to stand up and do it for myself. And that just makes it even more disappointing, to stand up and not show it."

Yulia was subject to a 16-month suspension in 2013 after testing positive for anabolic steroids, and has this year tested positive for banned substance meldonium.

When your high-profile relationship and even higher-profile split plays out in front of a global audience, you have to expect a certain type of fall-out.

And while there's no doubt Taylor Swift has come out of Tayvin saga a lot worse off than her former boyfriend, Calvin Harris, the Scottish DJ hasn't managed to escape ridicule entirely.

Upon accepting a Future Icon award in Las Vegas this weekend, the 32-year-old star was placed in a fairly awkward position when host Howie Mandel made reference to his world-famous ex-girlfriend.

Thank you Caesars for my Future Icon award!!!

Cracking the biggest Dad joke of all time, the America's Got Talent judge complimented the DJ's threads, saying: "That’s a nice suit. Who’s your tailor?"

Only delighted with himself and the audience's reaction, Howie then added: "See what I did?"

After laughing off the jibe with a fake chortle you reserve solely for moments like that, Calvin responded: "You got that prepared, you had that one ready."

In spite of Howie's remark, Calvin kept his composure before delivering a speech, and sharing the moment online for Instagram users.

An honor to meet a living legend!!!

Nice try, Howie.

Massive congratulations are in order this morning following the news that much-loved celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has become a dad for the fifth time.

Taking to Instagram in the early hours of this morning, Jamie shared a photo of his gorgeous little boy, and his social media followers have wasted no time sending messages of congratulations to the Oliver family.

"And then this just happened guys !! IT'S A BABY BOY!" he began in a post which has been like almost a quarter of a million times since its upload.

"Everyone in the Oliver family is very surprised and beyond happy," he wrote before paying tribute to his wife of 16 years.

"He arrived safely, mum @joolsoliver was really really amazing, unbelievably composed, natural birth and my two eldest girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born which was amazing to witness very very emotional," he continued.

We all know Kim Kardashian has a penchant for the dramatic – we mean, remember when she lost her earring in the ocean?

And when you're naturally that dramatic, you need a BFF who can handle you, and acknowledge that while it may seem little to everyone else, it's a pretty big deal to you.

Thankfully for Kim, this person comes in the form of Chrissy Teigen who – unlike the rest of the world – genuinely cared when Kim's beloved Blackberry finally kicked the bucket.

In a move that showcases her sense of humour as well as her top-notch friendship skills, Chrissy sent Kim a note – accompanied by a bouquet – which urged her to remember the good times she shared with her much-loved handheld device.

"I'm so sorry for your loss," the new mum wrote. "I know how much you loved your BB."

"You were both very lucky to have each other and you will always have the memories," she assured Kim in a gesture which has sent social media users over the edge.

Sharing footage of the flowers and note on Snapchat video upload, Kim said: "You guys, how thoughtful is Chrissy. She sent me this floral arrangement. She just gets me."

Oh, she definitely gets you, but she also couldn't have said that in person with a straight face…

There are some people who choose between the six original cast members when discussing their favourite Friends characters, and then there's other people – us – who choose Mike Hannigan.

Ah Mike, ye of the phantom keyboard tricks, sick one-liners and 'sailor on leave' skills.

Played by Paul Rudd, Mike Hannigan was the first man that made Phoebe think she might want to hang up her hippie threads and become a soccer mom for life.

But it looks like the writers didn't actually have this future in mind for Phoebe.

According to Hank Azaria, who played Phoebe's love interest David in earlier episodes, writers actually intended to bring David back, pair him off with Phoebe and let those two lovebirds live out their hippie/ sciencey future together.

And it sounds like Hank was pretty cut up about the writers' decision.

"It actually did sting a little bit," Hank said. "Whatever part of me is David the science guy who went to Minsk, which admittedly is probably a small part of me, but that part of me wanted to end up with Phoebe."

Giving props to Paul, Hank, who's best known for voicing numerous Simpsons characters said; "I think, honestly, what happened was Paul Rudd is so awesome that they sort of found a groove with him and my character became more of just the grist for that mill."

Imagine Phoebe's wedding to Mike hadn't gone ahead – no steel drum, no dying dog, no manic wedding planning from Monica… it just wouldn't have been the same.

Attempting to do justice to one of the world's greatest performers is no mean feat – something which X Factor hopefuls should keep in mind – so hats off to Ariana Grande who pulled it off with aplomb during a performance on ABC's show Greatest Hits this week.

Paying tribute to Whitney Houston, who died suddenly in 2012, the Bang Bang singer performed a mash-up of How Will I Know and Queen of the Night, and she absolutely slayed.

Taking to social media to mark the performance, Ariana wrote: "Thank you so much @greatesthitsabc. Honored & grateful to have been a part. #howwilliknow #queenofthenight"

And in a total break from the norm when it comes to covers of pop classics, YouTubers were all for an album of Ariana doing Whitney.

"Paying tribute to a legend is quite a hard work and she did it so good," wrote one while another added: "Can we just have a whole album of just Ariana doing covers bc this, this, is heavenly."

Credit where credit's due, this is glorious.

Fountains of Wayne had it right when they said Stacy's mom has got it going on, but it looks like the memo failed to reach Stacy's mom herself who is currently undergoing bizarre rituals in an effort to look younger.

Rachel Hunter, who played every teenage boy's dream in the video for the 2003 chart-topper, came to prominence in the early 90s when she appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and despite no longer modelling, the New Zealand-born star still possesses a keen interest in the world of beauty.

As part of her television show, Tour Of Beauty, the 46-year-old former model is allowing therapists from around the world to perform a myriad of beauty rituals on her.

Taking to Instagram this week, Rachel shared her experience of an Asian treatment, and it looks pretty uncomfortable.

The treatment removes the fine hairs from a woman's face with the help of a neck razor – all in an effort to open pores and assist the absorption of moisturiser – and must be repeated every three weeks so as to avoid the emergence of stubble.

Uploading a video of herself looking mildly uncomfortable as the blade edged towards her eye in the 'Japan Episode', Rachel wrote: "Having a shave. No I didn't grow any stubble. But I have to say my skin felt amazing."

"Just some of the amazing experiences I had from superfoods to ancient remedies, on wellness , longevity on @rachelstourofbeauty #beauty #beautycare," she added.

Instagram users were quick to comment on the upload, with many enquiring into the after-care procedure and others offering their opinion on the treatment.

"Discussed this with Japanese woman here in Sydney," wrote one follower. "She said her mum does this. She said to her mum "You're crazy for shaving", and her mum replied "You're crazy for not shaving". We all have our own version of normal."

Too true…but we don't think we'll be trying it any time soon.

If you – like millions others – blame your little handheld device for being unable to concentrate on a book for more than ten minutes these days, you may want to try a little bit harder… for the good of your health.

While so many of us can happily devote 12 hours to a Netflix binge, the thoughts of spending an hour alone with a book while our phone charges in another room is enough to bring an embarrassing number of us out in a cold sweat.

But in addition to all the standard benefits associated with reading, experts have recently established that those who read tend to live longer lives than those who don't.

In a study of more than 3,500 individuals over the age of 50, scientists discovered that those who read for up to 3.5 hours a week were 17% less likely to die in the following 12 years while those who read more than that were 23% less likely.

Commenting on the findings, Becca R. Levy, a professor of epidemiology at Yale University said: "People who report as little as a half-hour a day of book reading had a significant survival advantage over those who did not read."

Researchers established that, on average, regular readers tend to live two years longer than those who don't.

Ladies, it's time to attack that book pile by the bed.

We've all been there: you've finally reached the till, there's a queue of disgruntled shoppers shuffling behind you, your items get scanned through, and then your credit card gets declined.

Do you frantically look in your purse for cash knowing full well you don't have a cent or do you simply take it on the chin and say you'll call back later?

Most of us would cringe from head to toe and vow never to return to that store, and it sounds like Adele is no different.

The multi award-winning star may have millions in the bank but that doesn't mean she's immune to the odd technical glitch, and she experienced one while shopping in H&M recently.

In classic Adele style, the singer spilled the deets to her audience during a performance in San Jose's SAP Centre over the weekend.

"I went to H&M and my card got declined," she confessed. "Oh my days, pretty embarrassing."

Thankfully, the singer managed to go unrecognised, but the incident still didn't do much for the star's pride, continuing: "Nobody knew it was me, but I was mortified."

We don't know about you, but it makes us feel so much better over all those times we had to do the fake run to the ATM.

BRB…we swear.

Movie stars generally have to develop a relatively thick skin if they hope to succeed within the industry.

From losing out on roles to getting panned in reviews, most actors generally manage to pick themselves up and shake themselves off before moving on, but it sounds like it might be a little harder for some cast members of the Suicide Squad right now.

While not set for release in the US until today, preview screenings of the superhero movie have gone down like a led balloon among critics, and Cara Delevingne, who plays Dr. June Moone, is not coping at all well with it.

The model turned actress sounds fairly certain that the critics' harsh reviews come down to the film's genre, saying: "You know, I just don't think they like superhero movies."

"The critics have been absolutely horrific, they're really, really horrible," she added while speaking to Reuters.

Her fellow cast members have taken the reviews less personally, but still seemed understandably despondent by the lack of enthusiasm on the part of the critics.

Joel Kinnaman, who plays Rick Flag saying: "Of course you want critical acclaim, of course, but what matters is what the fans think."

Echoing his co-star, Jay Hernandez, who plays El Diablo, told Digital Spy: "I think it sucks. Obviously, we worked hard and tried to give the fans what they wanted."

The film has been on the receiving end of such harsh criticism, DC Entertainment fans – 5,000 and counting – have launched a petition to close down Rotten Tomatoes – a site which simply contains reviews but does not produce them – in an effort to shield fans from the movie's less than favourable write-ups.

Seriously? Talk about your over-sensitive movie buffs…
