This is a developing story.

According to emerging reports, police in Cologne have responded to reports that an individual armed with a gun was seen in the vicinity of an employment office in Cologne.

It has been established that armed police have descended on the Sulz region and are currently searching the area for the suspect.

Office workers and members of public in the area have been warned to stay indoors.

Commenting on the matter, a spokesman for the police confirmed that authorities had detained a suspect on another matter when reports began circulating that a woman armed with a gun had been spotted near the office.

UPDATE: According to German newspaper, Bild, four individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident, and it is as yet unknown whether it is terrorist-related.

We're all for freedom of expression, but to compare Kim Kardashian's decision to strip off for Instagram with Adele's ability in the recording studio sounds just a little wide of the mark to us.

But that's just Kanye West for you, right?

While speaking to Harper's Bazaar, the acclaimed rapper paid tribute to his wife's enviable figure – so far, so standard – but then went on to insist that the notion of his wife hiding her curves from the wider public is comparable to Adele hanging up the mic for good.

When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL

"I think it’s important for Kim to have her figure. To not show it would be like Adele not singing," he said in an issue which is set to hit newsstands in September.

Hammering the point home in no uncertain terms, Kanye left readers in no doubt that every side is her best side when it comes to Kim.

"I love her nude selfies. Like, I love the ones from the side, the back ones, and the front. I just love seeing her naked; I love nudity," he confirmed for anyone still unsure.

Like the vast majority of us, Kanye is not immune to the image of a stunning woman, but insists Kim takes the concept to another level when she decides to bare all for millions.

Ah yeah, but we'd still take an hour with our iPod over a 'painting'…

With the sheer number of terrorists attacks being carried out across the world in recent weeks, we doubt there's many people who haven't considered the potential implications of foreign travel or reflected on the possible ramifications of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

And with countless high-profile individuals taking to social media to express their grief over the recent attacks in France and Germany, Paris Hilton has also decided to offer her perspective on current global events.

"I’m constantly moving around from one country to another and I’m a famous person who could be a definite target for an attack and that is something that sometimes terrifies me," she told Ibiza island daily newspaper Diario de Ibiza.

Fearful that her global profile may make her more vulnerable to attack, the socialite turned DJ continued: "But I’m also a very free person who tries not to be afraid of anything. I just make sure I always watch my back."

"I always go out alone and without security," she added. "Many celebs have ten bodyguards but I like to go out with my friends and be normal because I want to be like everyone else."

Removing herself from the equation for a moment, the former reality took the opportunity to consider the people who have actually fallen victim to attacks, saying: "What’s happening is horrible. The recent attacks in Nice and Germany are terrible."

When I am with you there's no place I'd rather be…

Like countless others, Paris insists the recent events have given her pause for thought, telling the newspaper: "It’s something that disgusts and worries me. I travel a lot and I get frightened when I think about things like this."

Paris, who turned 35-years-old in February, is currently living it up in Ibiza and sharing snaps of the lifestyle with fans on Instagram.

It’s no secret that some of our favourite celebrities are prone to a little photoshopping every now and again.

When you’re used to being airbrushed within an inch of your life in photographers’ studios, it’s hardly surprising you may opt to re-touch your more candid shots when you can, right?

From Queen Bey to Khloé Kardashian, they’ve all, at times, chosen to tweak and trim, and they’ve all been subject to public backlash as a result.

And it looks like the latest star to do a little adjusting of her own is Lauren Goodger, and the former TOWIE star definitely hasn’t escaped the backlash.

Here's the original pic of me in my @lasulaboutique dress loving a summers day #noedit #chillout #allgirlswantslimmerlegs

A photo posted by Lauren Goodger (@laurenrosegoodger) on

After being snapped by a pap on a stroll, Mark Wright’s ex decided to share the same image on her Instagram page, but not before putting some handy tools to work (which she has now changed).

After spotting that Lauren had clearly trimmed down her thighs and ankles, Instagram followers wasted no time drawing comparisons between the original shot and the one Lauren shared.

“She looks lovely but you can see she’s photoshopped her legs to look skinnier by the fuzziness around them and how they’re bumpy,” wrote one. “She looks amazing so she shouldn’t have to do that.”

With social media users questioning the star’s decision to digitally alter her figure, Lauren’s fans defended her and insisted it’s no one's business whether she opts to ‘shop or not.

“Ever one needs to calm down its not worth arguing about Lauren is gorgouse but people are entitled to there opinion. “ argued one. “It is wats happens if u on social media gas no one got that yet.” (sic)

“So what if it's photoshopped? Who doesn't photoshop their pics these days!” added another.

Despite the backlash, the two photos have amassed nearly 10,000 likes between them, so we doubt Lauren is too bothered.

If we didn't love her enough already, Mila Kunis has given us yet another reason to think she's one of the soundest stars in the business.

After recently revealing that she and Ashton started off as friends with benefits, Mila then gave viewers of  The Late Late Show a pretty detailed description of the actor's manhood, and now she's spilling deets on the cost of her wedding ring.

While appearing on Conan this week, the Black Swan star acknowledged she has a bit of a reputation for thriftiness, and it turns out this extends to the most important piece of jewellery in her collection.

After telling the audience that Ashton had bought her a stunning engagement ring, the 32-year-old actress admitted she wasn't content with the idea of splashing thousands on a wedding ring, and opted instead to pick one up for €90 on Etsy instead.

Proving he's the flasher one in the relationship, Ashton splashed out an extra $10 and is now sporting a ring from a website we normally get our cutest birthday cards from.

Never change guys, never change.

If you were one of the thousands left devastated by the cancellation of Garth Brooks' Croke Park gigs in 2014 or missed out on Adele's 3Arena concerts back in March, it sounds like you're about to get a second chance to see these musical legends do their thing in Ireland.

Well, according to Lord Mayor of Cork Cllr Des Cahill, that is.

Speaking on Cork's Red FM this morning, the Lord Mayor hinted that the People's Republic might be welcoming both Adele and Garth in the not-too-distant future.

"The speculation that we could be welcoming Garth Brooks and Adele to Leeside next summer is outstanding news for Cork," he said while speaking to prominent radio DJ, Neil Prendeville.

"Although the concerts have yet to be officially confirmed the speculation that two blockbuster gigs are in the pipeline for the new Cork stadium in the summer of 2017 is a huge boost," he added.

Adding even more fuel to the fire, Lord Mayor Cahill took to Twitter this morning to express his excitement over the possibility that the city might soon be hosting two of the biggest names in the music industry.

We know it's not confirmed, we know it's not a sure thing, but that hasn't stopped us planning our route to Cork…

Mistaking one product for another while fumbling around the bathroom bleary-eyed is part and parcel of our morning routine, and yet despite this we've (thankfully) never left the house sporting a bald patch after mistaking hair removal cream for Head and Shoulders.

But if a recent upload to Imgur is anything to go by, not every young woman has been as fortunate as the ladies here at SHEmazing! HQ.

After supposedly mistaking Nair for shampoo, one particular lady did what any self-respecting millennial would do and allowed her sibling to upload an image of her disaster to Imgur.

Sporting a hairstyle not unlike our grandfathers', she gave her best Blue Steel while acting as a walking advertisement for opening your eyes before applying any product to your body.

Unsurprisingly, Imgur users are calling major BS on the snap, with many insisting that the young woman would have realised her mistake before sporting a head you can see your reflection in.

"Staged. Nair BURNS!" wrote one. "You physically feel something burning on your scalp, and you have to wait 15 minutes for it to work."

While some users insisted they could see the edges of a bald cap, others expressed concern over the girl's lathering skills, writing: "I'm more concerned that she didn't shampoo the sides of her head."

"If she thought that was shampoo then she did a sh*tty job of washing her hair," added another.

Can't kid a kidder…

The vast majority of record labels and music execs adhere to a tried and tested formula when it comes to boy band members.

From the cheeky chappy to the uber-cute one, most members know their role, and for former One Direction member, Zayn Malik, he was most definitely the silent, brooding type.

But it sounds like his 1D persona had less to do with the time-honoured formula, and more to do with his own inner dialogue.

Speaking to Elle, the Bradford-native, who left the band in March 2015, admitted that he struggles desperately with low self esteem and anxiety.

"I don’t have it in me to feel secure in anything I do," he admitted. "I always strive towards something better."

Aware that he often comes across more reserved that one might expect of a former boy band member and up-and-coming solo star, Zayn explained: "It’s why I sometimes come across the wrong way – a bit distant."

The singer, who was forced to cancel his performance at Capital's Summertime Ball due to anxiety, added: "I’m stressed out trying to control how I’m perceived.”

With a nod to his former bandmate Harry's foray into the world of acting, Zayn told the publication that music once took a backseat when it came to his interest in the theatre.

"I started acting when I was in school with theatre studies and then music came afterwards," he explained. "The acting completely stopped because I joined the band, but I'd definitely be interested if I was given the right part."

Ooh, watch this space!

The movie industry were left reeling eight years ago when news broke that much-loved and well-respected actor, Heath Ledger, had died from an accidental overdose.

Having graduated from roles in Aussie soaps and teen movies, Heath's star was, undoubtedly, at the time of his death in January 2008 on the rise.

From his highly-acclaimed performance in Brokeback Mountain to his depiction of the Joker in The Dark Knight. the 28-year-old actor was well on his way to establishing himself as one of the greatest actors in the industry.

And yet despite the numerous accolades and acclaim, much of the star's private life was spent battling many of his own demons which included insomnia and addiction.

Opening up about the untimely death of his son during a recent interview with the Daily Mail Australia, Kim Ledger insisted no one was to blame for his son's passing, but Heath himself.

"It was totally his fault. It was no one else's – he reached for them," Kim said. "He put them in his system. You can't blame anyone else in that situation."

Aware that his son was over-medicating, Kim recalls Heath's sister Katie offering her brother advice on the night before he died, with Kim recalling: "His sister was on the phone to him the night before telling him not to take the prescription medications with the sleeping tablets."

Haunted by his son's assurances that he knew what he was doing, Kim said of Heath: "He would have had no idea."

Heath shared a daughter with actress Michelle Williams.

Remember the movie that told the story of a 10-year-old boy named Jack who, due to a medical disorder, aged four times as quick as his peers?

Starring Robin Williams, Jack was – like the vast majority of Robin's movies – a feel-good tearjerker which had us pressing rewind time and time again.

And while we were definitely rooting for Jack the whole way through, we'd be lying if we said our primary school selves weren't somewhat intrigued by his classmate Louis.

Every now and again, we wonder what ever became of the actor who played good ol' Louis, and thanks to the wonder of social media we now know and can confirm that Adam Zolotin is – in anyone's language – an absolute ride.

According to Cosmopolitan, while he didn't exactly set Hollywood alight, Adam, now 32, did manage to eke out somewhat of a career in acting, but mostly he focused on becoming a total hottie.

You, ladies, are very welcome.

When it comes to reality television couples, very few were as well known – and openly disliked – as Speidi.

Transitioning from a small-town all-American girl, Heidi Montag was as seduced by the bright lights of Hollywood as she was the party-boys who lived it up there, and it wasn't long before she met and married wannabe playboy Spencer Pratt.

Speidi was born, and sales in crystals went through the roof.

At the time, the couple appeared unfazed by the negativity commentary which surrounded them, and happily played up to their superficial reality star image.

But it seems like it's taken the best part of a decade for the couple to realise that their time in the spotlight was limited, meaning their extravagant lifestyle and over-the-top spending would have to come to an end eventually.

"We should have stayed in our reality TV lane," Spencer told PEOPLE magazine. "We were keeping up with the Joneses, but we were going against Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes."

"I felt like I was someone I wasn't," Heidi admitted. "We had business managers who told us to stop spending but we acted like we knew what we were doing."

Despite cashing multiple six-figure cheques for their role in The Hills, and raking in millions for various other appearances and endorsements, the couple managed to squander the lot.

From designer clothes and security staff to crystals and €3,000 bottles of wine, Speidi spent like there was no tomorrow, and are only now realising the impact their choices had on future plans.

"Everyone else on our cast had houses and we had nothing to show for what we'd done," Heidi explained. "I was like, the haters were right! It was sad."

Damn those haters and their logic…

It's no secret that most celebrities – excluding, of course, Selena Gomez – get a helping hand when it comes to their social media accounts, and yet the public get a real kick out of having it confirmed in the form of a public Insta eff-up.

After falling victim to a less than perfect edit this week, Little Mix had fans flooding their page with tongue-in-cheek comments about the girls' contribution to social media.

Uploading a photo of a cab advertising the bands' fragrance Wishmaker, the girls appeared thrilled, writing: "So surreal…we’re on the side of a taxi."

"Who’s got their bottle of #LMWISHMAKER? Let us know what you think! Launch event tomorrow," they added.

Unfortunately for the lovely Little Mix ladies, they didn't realise their original upload also included the line 'How's this copy Jade?', and only went ahead and posted it.

Fans and followers of the Black Magic singers screengrabbed the original and wasted no time ripping it out of the band online, commenting: "How's this copy, Jade" over and over… until someone took the phone out of their hands.

Sure look, if it can happen to our Lord and Saviour, Scott Disick, it can happen to anyone…
