Nicki Minaj’s cover for her new album Anaconda has definitely faced a lot of criticism.

The rapper has spent all day defending her revealing cover – saying that there were double standards surrounding her image and the image of other artists’ in the industry

But despite the negative responses Nicki has received on Twitter, it seems fellow artist Katy Perry is on her side.

Minaj was responding to a negative tweet, when Katy gave her seal of approval of the album cover. Katy joked that she would love to take a nap on Nicki’s behind.

Nicki quickly shared her appreciation by retweeting Katy’s message and responding: “LMFAOOOOO Katy cat nooooooooooooo!!! RT @katyperry: I wanna take a nap on dat pillow doe @NICKIMINAJ”.

Iggy Azalea has blasted some of Nicki Minaj’s fans on Twitter, calling them ‘bullies’.

The 23-year-old scored her first ever US number one on the Billboard Hot 100 last week with her track Fancy.

This didn’t go down too well with fans of Nicki Minaj, who slammed the star for ‘copying’ Nicki’s style.

Hitting back at the comments, Iggy unleashed an epic Twitter rant saying, “Just remember while your all at home online cracking jokes about artists etc that Most of you have done NOTHING. NOTHING! With your lives.

“Don’t flex someone else’s achievements. So many of you Internet kids quote the feats of others as if they were your own. And just to clarify for anyone who didn’t understand that last statement goes out to people who bully others.”

She added, “Fan wars back and forth and all that s**t is all bulls**t. Someone who’s music you love doing great should never be an excuse to be awful to others. That’s my point I suppose.

“I just find it really disgusting. Don’t be cruel to one another. And learn to understand how much work it takes to achieve anything in life.

“Success should be celebrated and not used as an excuse to be awful to others, especially when it’s not even your own. That was my point. It was a positive but aggressive point. Lol. Anyway it’s my mans bday and I’m outtttt!”

Justin Bieber took the Twitter to reveal that he is interested in doing a collaboration with singer, Bruno Mars.

The 20-year-old singer revealed on Twitter that he would love to sing with the Mars, after news of a possible duet between the two artists began to trend on the social media site.

The Baby singer then went onto to tweet that “no one is safe” and “like i said…we live in the studio. #music”.

Bieber has previously collaborated with other big artists such as: Nicki Minaj on Beauty And A Beat, Ludacris on All Around The World and Big Sean on As Long As You Love Me.

It seems all the celebs are keen to go back to a more natural look, as Nicki Minaj is the latest to hit Instagram with a very little make-up selfie

Even though the rapper is still clearly wearing eye-liner and foundation, the snap definitely showed a more toned down look for Nicki anyways.

When it comes to Minaj’s style, the 31-year-old is usually more renowned for her fluorescent wigs and extravagant make-up.

We’re not sure if Nicki wanted to share her more toned look because of the latest selfie trends or it could be her way of promoting her first acting role in the new film, The Other Woman.

Either-ways, we think you should stick to the minimum look Nicki, it really suits you.

While we all know Nicki Minaj for her risqué songs and videos; the rapper has proved recently that she has a soft side too.

The Starships singer helped fulfil the dreams of one little Minaj fan, Miyah.

Miyah was diagnosed with Stage 3B Burkitt’s lymphoma last year but has always dreamed of meeting her idol, Nicki.

Nicki made Miyah’s dreams come true by visiting the five-year-old on Sunday and even gave Miyah a little pink wig, as well.

The signer went onto share snaps of her visit on Instagram and even gave the delighted fan some great advice.

“I’m so happy that you got your pink wig. I think you’re beautiful without the pink wig, okay? But, whenever you want to play dress up and feel like a little Barbie Doll, that’s fine. But, remember you promised me that you were gonna stay in school.”

Nicki Minaj is being sued by Atlanta wig designer Terrence Davidson who claims that she stole his wigs designs and thus cheated him out of millions of dollars.

According to reports, Terrence, who made Nicki’s pink upper bun wig, her fox fur wig and her superbass wig, prides himself on helping the Starships hitmaker reach the top after he created a host of “fresh, hip and unique wigs for the singer.”

Apparently, Terrance and Nicki, whose real name is Onika Maraj, had made a deal to form a wig making business that would sell the wigs that the singer made famous.

However, the designer says that the American rapper actually started it without him and turned it into a multi-million dollar business selling his designs.

Davidson’s attorney, Christopher Chestnut, says: “Her lawyers may complicate it, but we don’t need to get into intellectual-property law. This is basic American morality. Nicki Minaj lied to this man and cheated him.”

He is suing the singer for $30,000,000 (that’s a lot of zeros)

It looks like the rivalry between these two American Idol judges won’t be ending any time soon after both Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj released the music videos to their new songs yesterday.

Being the diva that she is, the We Belong Together singer didn’t hold her tongue when it came to slamming the 31-year-old rapper.

On Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club radio show, the singer, who was promoting her new song You’re Mine (Eternal) pretended she never heard of Nicki Minaj – as if!

“I don’t even remember what that was. That was a moment in my life that I’m just going to press delete,” she said.

Neither Mariah nor Nicki have been invited back to the judging panel of American Idol, but that doesn’t mean the war ends here.
