It’s been seven years since Jenni JWoww Farley first appeared on screens as part of MTV’s controversial reality series Jersey Shore.

And while the 30-year-old television personality hasn’t been absent from the spotlight since the show ended in 2012, she certainly looks a whole lot different than she did the last time we saw her.

Last night the New York native was photographed alongside her Snooki & JWoww co-star Nicole Polizzi while attending the MTV VMAs and she looked close to unrecognisable as she posed in a figure-hugging black dress.

The mother of two looked very mermaid-esque with her waist-length locks and fishtail style gown, but her strikingly different appearance has reignited rumours that she’s had some cosmetic work done on her face.

Despite having been open about having her boobs enhanced shortly before her 21st birthday, in 2014 the former party girl denied having her face enhanced in a social media post.

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi is not one to hold back about any aspects of her personal life, but this latest nugget of information is a bit too much for us.

The Jersey Shore star appeared on Wendy Williams's US TV show earlier this week, and shared something oh-so-crazy with the audience.

Snooki and her husband Jionni LaValle just can't seem to keep their hands off each other it seems, so much so that they've actually had full-blown sex while driving.

And their efforts were successful too, as Snooki says it was one such incident that led to the conception of their one-year-old daughter Giovanna.

"Well, it’s how I conceived Giovanna,” the mother of two revealed when asked where the weirdest place she'd ever had sex was.

"We started hooking up while he [Jionni] was driving on the highway," Snooki explained while showing the audience how exactly she had straddled her husband.

Of course, the in-car manoeuvre might not be possible for every couple, as 4ft 8in Snooki admits she has the advantage of being "pocket size."

As well as Giovanna, the couple have a three-year-old son called Lorenzo, though it's not clear where he was conceived. On a plane, perhaps?

But her sex life wasn't the only thing Snooki discussed last night – she also addressed claims her husband had used the Ashley Madison site for cheating.

"He's really not the type.. it's bulls***," she told host Wendy.

"I'm lucky if he knows how to even use a computer, yet go on Ashley Madison to cheat on me…it's so stupid, and we honestly think, like, someone is trying to f**k with us because this isn't the first story that Jionni's been cheating on me."

Despite all the negative press, Snooki says the pair are as happy as ever.

It’s not the first time that their relationship has been rocked by rumour of infidelity.

And now it seems that reality TV star Snooki is facing yet more gossip relating to her marriage of less than a year.

According to Us Weekly, an email belonging to Jionni LaValle, the father of her two children whom she married last November, was used to set up an account on the notorious Ashley Madison website.

Jionni and Snooki – whose real name is Nicole Polizzi – are both 27 and together have a son, Lorenzo, three, and a daughter, Giovanna, 10 months.

In January of this year, Ms Polizzi was forced to dismiss rumours that her husband was cheating on her; it had been speculated that he had hit on and exchanged numbers with a woman in Florida.

Taking to Twitter in response and calling the story “BS,” she emphatically told her 7million followers: “My man ain't goin' nowhere #shady.”

Back in March 2012, a then 24-year-old Snooki announced her pregnancy and engagement on the front of US Weekly magazine.

Previously known for her wild antics and partying, she said at the time: "I have different priorities now.

"I don't care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I'm ready and he's ready."

Mr LaValle added: "We are not going to screw this up."

Ashley Madison, a website which targeted married and attached men and women looking to have extramarital relations, operated under the tagline: “Life is short. Have an affair.”

A recent hack, however, released the personal data of its 37million subscribers. A group called the Impact Squad, which states, “cheating dirt bags do not deserve anonymity,” is behind the mass breach of security.

Names, ages, addresses, phone numbers, credit card details and detailed sexual fantasies have all now been leaked, resulting in numerous lawsuits filed against the company.

It is the second high profile attack on affair-facilitating sites this year. In March, AdultFriendFinder suffered a similar massive data breach, with hackers publishing details of 4million subscribers online.

One thing we've always loved about Jersey Shore alum Snooki is her brutal honesty, so we had to applaud this week when she told fans the truth about her latest beauty venture.

The mum-of-two, real name Nicole Polizzi, has always been self-conscious about her thin lips, and finally decided to take the plunge by getting lip fillers to plump them up. Posting a picture alongside cosmetic surgeon to the stars, Dr. Ramtin Kassir, Snooki was quick to tell fans what she'd had done. 

"Welp I did it kids! Tried my first lip plumping and so doing more #noshame thanks doc for not killing me" she wrote, showing off her noticeably fuller pout.

In another post later on that showed a close up look at her newly-filled lips, the reality star said the procedure wasn't as scary as she had thought it would be. "First session of lip plumps and it's just fabulous," she wrote. 

"I've always hated my thin lips and never thought I had the balls to get needles in my lip to perfect them but I did! Trust me girls, I was terrified to get my first 'procedure' ever done, but it wasn't terrible at all! And I hate needles! I love my 'natural beauty', but being able to enhance my lips to make me feel better about myself is life."

As one of Kylie Jenner's biggest fans, it's no surprise Snooki was ready to emulate the teenage star's pout. Back in April she posted a picture of herself with her lips fully lined, writing, "Tried the liner on the lips! Do I have Kylie Jenner lips yet?!"

Fans of Kylie will remember that she stayed silent about her notoriously full lips for months, claiming it was all down to expertly applied make-up, before admitting in May that she had gone for fillers too.

"I have temporary lip fillers, it's just an insecurity of mine and it's what I wanted to do," she admitted during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

However, the reality TV star was adamant that she wasn't untruthful with her fans, adding, "I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn't lie."

Maybe next time she'll take a leaf out of Snooki's book and be 100% honest up front.

She is known as the former wild-child who was seriously tamed by motherhood – but Snooki's latest transformation took bystanders by surprise in New York yesterday.

The 28-year-old, who has two small children with husband Jionni LaValle, was promoting her new book, Strong Is the New Sexy: A Kick Ass Memoir.

For the launch, she wore a purple wrap-dress and metallic sandals, and accessorised with a statement silver necklace.

Her hair had been cropped into a shoulder-length bob, and was dyed jet-black. She kept her makeup simple – save for a strong layer of bright red lipstick. 

Snooki's book maps how she moved away from alcohol-fuelled parties and "her steady diet of nachos" to lose 20lbs and become fitter and trimmer than ever.

The reality TV star, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, also gives her "formula for fierce" and says she hopes to inspire readers to "tap their own deep wells of girl power".

She has previously written a book on pregnancy. 

Yesterday, Ms Polizzi also took to Instagram after some negative reponses to the release of her most recent publication.

"What I did 6 years ago at 21 doesn't define who I am today," she said. "Nor will I take sh** from a stranger who doesn't know who I am. 

"Rise above the hate, the judgmental people, and live the best, healthy positive life that you can. Of course you are going to be a drunk slob at some point in your life, but you grow older and wiser and learn what's important in life. 

"I've done that and my kids are my world. I work out, I'm a strong, happy mom and I want to show you that you can change and become a better person."
