One Direction star’s mum celebrates four year anniversary

It’s hard to believe, it’s four years since Harry Styles first auditioned for The X Factor. It seems his mum can’t believe it either, as she took to Twitter to celebrate the important day for her son.

Anne Twist, told her Twitter followers just how proud she is of her son and wanted to mark the special day, for the 20-year-old.

“Happy Anniversary @Harry_Styles Four years ago today you took the first step toward your dream and turned it into your reality. Ly xxx”

But Harry’s mum wasn’t pleased, when a One Direction fan accused her of getting the date wrong.

The fan tweeted: “his audition date was a couple of weeks ago though.”

But Anne was quick to tweet back, that she had got the date right: “errr … no it wasn’t. Today’s the day.”

Harry’s mum has been there since the beginning, as she was backstage during Styles very first audition in front of X Factor judges: Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Nicole Sherzinger.

Music mogul, Simon Cowell has revealed the real reason behind Nicole Scherzinger’s exit from the X Factor.

Simon said Nicole wouldn’t be joining the 2014 X Factor panel, as he predicted the former Pussycat doll would have clashed with Cheryl.

Cowell said: “I didn’t think the two of them would work well together.”

Perhaps the reason Simon believes that Nicole and Cheryl would’ve clashed on the judging panel was as a result of the pair previously working together on the 2011 show of X Factor USA.

Cheryl was a judge on the show, while Nicole was a co-host with Steve Jones. But Cole was soon fired from the show a few days after starting and was immediately replaced by Scherzinger.

Simon has admitted that he was keen on the idea of Mel B joining the judging panel.

“I like Mel B. We’ve got about a month to decide and we’re meeting a lot of people. A lot of it actually depends on how much work they are willing to put in during the week.”

Well whoever will be joining the panel one thing is for sure, they have to get along with Cheryl.

It looks as if Nicole Scherzinger and her long-time love Lewis Hamilton may have finally made it official!

The Formula 1 driver uploaded this sweet photo to his Instgram account with the caption: “This was a great day….truly humbled by the Sistine Chapel plus there with my wifey. #godisthegreatest #sistinechapel #blessed”

What’s that you said, Lewis? Wifey?

After a turbulent on-off relationship beginning in 2007 and Lewis proposing to Nicole last year (which she rejected), this definitely shows they have patched things up.

The singer who never failed to impress us with her statement style on X Factor now has her own clothing line for brand Missguided.

The 30-piece set is priced between £15-£50 and has a wide-range of sassy black jumpsuits, bodycon dresses and electric blue cut-out midis.

It’s unsurprising that the range is called Nicole x Missguided, since some of the pieces reflect her own personal style.

“It’s inspired by the catwalk mixed with my personal style. I would describe it as clean, sexy, strong and graphic but also classy and feminine; it’s urban chic.”

Celebrities are renowned for their perfect bikini and beach photos but Nicole wants to show us the reality behind them.

The singer uploaded this hilarious photo to her Instagram account with the caption “#Before&After Nobody eva shows the before! they only show the After!”

The photo shows the singer pulling a rather strange face as she gets ready for her close-up which is of course, perfect!

We love that Nicole knows how to laugh at herself and doesn’t take herself too seriously – our kinda gal!

Nicole Scherzinger won’t be returning to the UK X Factor

It has been confirmed that Nicole Scherzinger won’t be returning to the X Factor UK this year.

The singer is said to wish to concentrate on her music career after putting it on hold for The X Factor last year.

Nicole has also recently reconciled with her ex fiancée, Lewis Hamilton, who resides in the US – could this have something to do with her decision? The couple have been on-again-off-again for almost six years so perhaps they have decided to give it their all this time around.

One thing is for sure: X Factor is doomed if Cheryl Cole doesn’t return!

Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger have decided to give their romance another go.

The former Pussycat Doll singer was recently seen heading to a studio in west London to meet her 29-year-old lover boy, who showed up in a taxi.

The loved-up couple then made their way to a restaurant in central London before they got the chance to share a quick smooch in an underground car park– a bit too late to keep things low key!

The two decided to call it quits last July, just before Nicole toured the UK with Gary Barlow.

But it looks like they just couldn’t get enough of each other as the two shared snaps of a romantic ski break together in Aspen on New Year’s Day.

We’re delighted for Nicole and Lewis, hopefully things will work out between them this time around.

She doesn’t always get it right, but Nicole Scherzinger rocked some pretty impressive and stylish outfits on last season’s X Factor.

We love the style of this Mad Men-inspired grey dress that shows off her figure perfectly while still maintaining an aura of class.

This black dress with the bow doesn’t need much introduction – it’s simply fabulous. Although we are not fans of the hair with that particular outfit.

Jumpsuits are really on-trend at the moment and this navy one is just gorgeous with a high waist and a strapless bodice. We also love it with the red heels as it adds a nautical element.

This last piece is so sexy we can’t handle it! Fitting her in all the right places, we also love how the full length adds a touch of sophistication.
