Ian Somerhalder confesses love to ex… BUT it’s not what you think

It might be time for Ian Somerhalder to change his Twitter password.

The Vampire Diaries actor's Twitter account was hacked yesterday and the hacker embarrassingly confessed Ian's love for former flame Nina Dobrev.

Awkward! We're not sure Ian's new wife, Nikki would be too happy about that.

The man (or woman) tweeted for about 20 minutes before writing, "I am so sorry," and deleting the tweets.

When the hacker first revealed that he seized the account, he or she asked followers, "who even is ian somerhalder."

The illegal computer operator then went on to praise the US TV show, Mr. Robot – which coincidentally (or not) is about a hacker.

The person in question then asked Ian's fans to get them get in contact with the TV star.

They later idenified themself as @clou9nin3, but it was deactivated earlier today.

While it may look like red carpet events and glamorous selfies 24/7, being a celebrity sure can have its downsides, as Ian Somerhalder proved this weekend.

The star has come under fire today for refusing to pose for photos with fans while on holiday in Paris with his new wife, actress Nikki Reed.

Ian, who has always been particularly gracious when it comes to his adoring fans, was leaving his hotel yesterday when a group began to crowd him, requesting selfies.

In footage which has since been uploaded to YouTube under the title ‘Ian Somerhalder being rude to fans’, the Vampire Diaries star is actually seen being pretty reasonable as he informs fans that he will not be posing for photos, and requesting that they don’t follow them.

“Hey guys, listen. I love you guys. I’m not taking a single photo today. It’s my day. Don’t follow us, please. I love you guys. You’re so good to us. You’re so awesome,” the actor pleads.

When one fan starts to cry in front of Ian, he simply places his hands on her shoulders, saying, “Hey, I’m right here”, clearly telling her to embrace the moment rather than fight for a selfie.

Needless to say, the incident has caused debate in the Twittersphere, with many agreeing that Ian was rude, while others have been defending his actions.

“Ian Somerhalder was pure rude to those poor fans but tbh the whole cast are generally rude to their fans. Smh for these famous people,” wrote one Twitter user.

However, another commented: “I don’t understand why this is a debate: Ian Somerhalder was NOT rude to his fans by saying no pictures.”

While it must suck to be let down by your idol, we have to admit that we can see where Ian is coming from. To be fair, these fans were waiting outside his hotel while he was supposed to be taking some time off. Also, rather than ignoring them, at least he explained why he wouldn’t be stopping for photos.

Celebrating their one month wedding anniversary, Nikki Reed has posted a video clip of her tying the knot with beau Ian Somerhalder.

The Twilight Saga actress and Vampire Diaries star are no strangers to publicly declaring their love, with almost daily Instagram posts of adoring messages to each other.

The short wedding montage is packed full of PDA and the couple are looking totally loved up and adorable.

And luckily for us, their wedding video is no exception. Nikki captioned the post with a short poem:

“You are my every dream brought to life. We are a cosmic collision. This is a lifetime felt in every moment I’m by your side. My love, my human…happy one month.”

The stunning bride wore a beautiful lace wedding dress custom-made by Claire Pettibone, while Ian wore a matching white suit.

Soon after they jetted off on a romantic honeymoon to Mexico, which was followed by a stop-over in Brazil, Chile, and Costa Rica before arriving in the French Riviera.

The pair announced their engagement in January, after just 10 months of dating. Nikki Reed’s divorce from former husband, singer-songwriter Paul McDonald, was finalised the same month.

They may have only been engaged for a few months, but Hollywood couple Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder didn't waste any time in tying the knot.

Vampire Diaries star Ian wed his sweetheart in an intimate outdoor ceremony yesterday morning, and the first pictures emerged just hours ago via Twitter.

In one gorgeous photo Ian is seen looking lovingly at Nikki, and in another the couple share their first kiss as husband and wife.

That dress… beautiful.

Although not many details about the ceremony have been announced, Ian tweeted on Friday to let fans know he'd arrived back in his home state of Louisiana, so it's very possible the wedding took place there.

Prepare to shed some tears girls as it has been reported that Ian Somerhalder is engaged to Nikki Reed!

In Touch magazine have alleged that the Vampire Diaries actor got down on one knee to Twilight actress Nikki over the festive season and the couple are currently planning a wedding!

A source is said to have overheard the couple telling friends the exciting news at the World Dog Awards last week. Nikki was also spotted wearing a diamond ring, and although it doesn’t look like a classic engagement ring, the source said she was wearing the sparkler on her right hand rather than her left to avoid speculation.

Ian and Nikki began dating six months ago, almost a year after his long-term relationship with co-star Nina Dobrev came to an end. News of an engagement for Nikki and Ian comes weeks after finalisation of Nikki’s marriage to singer Paul McDonald whom she was married to from 2011 until 2014.

All that said, nothing has been confirmed yet, so we reckon we still have a chance…

Ian Somerhalder has taken some online comments about his girlfriend, Nikki Reed very seriously indeed.

After some of his fans commented on a photo on his Instagram account saying they hated his current girl, he hit back – hard: “You HATE NIKKI REED? Really? Do you know her? Hmmmm, I’m not sure that you do. Look at her Instagram feed or Twitter and all you will see is a compassionate and beautiful human being. Please put your negative energy elsewhere. You don’t even know the person you’re talking about.”

The actor didn’t stop there and continued his display of loyalty for Nikki (swoon!): “Do you care about me? Ask yourself that question. What’s the answer? Is it yes? If it is – then please be happy for me. Stop this nonsense – you’re spreading horrible energy into the world. Do some research of the person you say sucks or you HATE. You’ll find she’s a magical person doing great things in the world."

But that wasn’t it…

“I’m sickened and saddened by the the fans’ response to all this. My fans have stood up to people like you and tried to empower you with some compassion. If we all thought a little or [learned] a little about people before we spoke about them, the world wouldn’t be so upside down and in the worst place in history. If you hate Nikki you must hate me… That’s sad. Have an amazing day!”

Um, wow. She’s an even luckier lady than we previously thought! What a sweetheart.

Things are getting pretty serious between Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed as the couple have now adopted a horse together.

Yes, you read that right. Ian revealed his latest addition with a picture of him hugging his new horse.

Ian captioned the snap: “Proud new dad. What amazing creatures they are. Wow. His name is Eagle. Thank you @iamnikkireed for snapping this special moment, with our big bad boy.”

It’s no surprise that they’ve adopted a horse together, as both Nikki and Ian are pretty big animal advocates. Still, considering the couple only started dating recently, they aren’t holding back on making any long term commitments.

It’s officially all over for Nikki Reed and her husband, Paul McDonald as the actress has filed for divorce.

The news comes only two months after the couple announced their split after three years of marriage.

Irreconcilable differences were cited as the reason for the divorce while TMZ say that the actress is seeking to deny spousal support for her ex.

The Twilight actress got engaged to her musician husband in June 2011, after only three months of dating.

There must be something in the air in Hollywood as another celebrity couple are to go their separate ways.

Twilight star Nikki Reed and American Idol contestant Paul McDonald are splitting up after two years of marriage.

According to a rep for the 25-year-old actress, the couple have been living apart for the past six months.

The rep added that the pair would continue to “share their love of music” and are still working on their debut album, I’m Not Falling which is due for release later this year.

“They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together,” said the rep.

The pair met at the Red Riding Hood premiere in 2011, and walked down the aisle in a private Malibu ceremony after only a few months together as a couple.

Speaking about her relationship, Nikki said it was important to make time for each other when working in Hollywood, “It’s important to communicate and stay on the same page…With what we do for a living, it’s important we make each other know they come first.”
