Nina Dobrev, star of the Vampire Diaries, reached a whopping 10 million followers on Instagram this week. 

In order to celebrate her amazing achievement, the brown-eyes actress posted a video to her profile, thanking her fans.

"To show my gratitude, I have decided to do 10 million shots. This is for you guys" she joked. 

While no actual alcohol was consumed (sad-face), Nina filmed what appears to be a downward spiral. 

The video counts down the shots, and by the time she reached 800, Nina is out for the count.

This hilarious mock video has racked up 1.3 million views in just one day, with over 6000 fans commenting it. 

You go girl, and congrats on all those followers.

When Nina Dobrev quit The Vampire Diaries, fans were totally shocked and wondered how the show would go on without her.

Season 8 has been confirmed as the final run for the popular show, and it's followers have been wondering if Nina will made a comeback for the finale episode.

The actress left TVD after season 6, but she wasn't killed off. Elena, instead, was placed in a spell-induced coma and is supposed to remain unconscious until her BFF Bonnie dies.

Complicated, we know.

However, now rumour has it that Kristen Stewart will take on Elena's part.

According to Hollywood Gossip, Elena will be able to body-jump into another character and that character is Kristen.

Saying that though, TVD's creator Julie Plec said previously that Nina would be interested in returning for the finale episode… so why make things even more complicated?

Just bring back the original!

These two were probably one of most good-looking couples in Hollywood, but today it has been revealed that Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell are no longer an item. 

E! News confirmed the news with a source telling the website, "it started to get hard with both of their schedules."

And even though it's been a while since we've seen any of their usual Instagram awww-worthy photos, the pair still "remain on good terms."

It was rumoured that Nina and Austin split at the end of January or early February as the actress attended the Superbowl on her own.

Her fans also became suspicious when they shared nothing on social media for Valentine's Day.

Don't worry Nina, your Prince Charming will come along soon.

Actress Nina Dobrev no doubt had a sore head at the Golden Globes after party on Sunday night, after spending all of Saturday evening at a party of her own – for her 27th birthday.

The Vampire Diaries star took to Instagram today to share some snaps from what looks like a downright amazing fancy dress bash.

Just take a look at her heart-eyed cat emoji costume if you don't believe us:

"Thank you to all of my amazing friends for coming out to my Emoji Themed Birthday Party at @aventinehollywood on Saturday," the birthday girl wrote alongside a snap of her dancing with a sparker-lit cake.

"I know it was a lot to ask, making it costume mandatory, and they not only did it, everyone showed up dressed to impress and went all out!"

In true wild Hollywood style, there was even an impromptu limbo session:

"Here's to celebrating 27 years, but NEVER growing up! #StayYoungForever," the actress captioned her birthday snaps.

We'll take an invite to her 28th birthday, please.

Nina Dobrev and her new boyfriend Austin Stowell have now officially made their red carpet debut together, and WOW, they are a smokin’ hot couple.

Nina and Austin got all dressed up and stepped out together for the New York Film Festival premiere of his latest movie Bridge of Spies.

And apart from looking absolutely gorgeous together, the pair also looked blissfully loved up.

This wasn’t the first time they were spotted though! Last July they were snapped while on holiday in France.

This couple cannot get any cuter.

It might be time for Ian Somerhalder to change his Twitter password. 

The Vampire Diaries actor's Twitter account was hacked yesterday and the hacker embarrassingly confessed Ian's love for former flame Nina Dobrev.

Awkward! We're not sure Ian's new wife, Nikki would be too happy about that. 

The man (or woman) tweeted for about 20 minutes before writing, "I am so sorry," and deleting the tweets. 

When the hacker first revealed that he seized the account, he or she asked followers, "who even is ian somerhalder."

The illegal computer operator then went on to praise the US TV show, Mr. Robot – which coincidentally (or not) is about a hacker. 

The person in question then asked Ian's fans to get them get in contact with the TV star.

They later idenified themself as @clou9nin3, but it was deactivated earlier today.

They may have only been engaged for a few months, but Hollywood couple Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder didn't waste any time in tying the knot.

Vampire Diaries star Ian wed his sweetheart in an intimate outdoor ceremony yesterday morning, and the first pictures emerged just hours ago via Twitter.

In one gorgeous photo Ian is seen looking lovingly at Nikki, and in another the couple share their first kiss as husband and wife.

That dress… beautiful.

Although not many details about the ceremony have been announced, Ian tweeted on Friday to let fans know he'd arrived back in his home state of Louisiana, so it's very possible the wedding took place there. 

Ian also tweeted last night to share a sweet message about his big day, simply writing, "most beautiful morning ever":

Ian and Nikki began dating last summer, almost a year after his long-term relationship with co-star Nina Dobrev came to an end. The couple's January engagement came just weeks after Nikki’s divorce from singer Paul McDonald was finalised after three years of marriage.

Fans of The Vampire Diaries have been left devastated after star Nina Dobrev announced she is quitting the show.

Having starred in the popular TV show since 2009, Nina took her fans by surprise with an Instagram post this morning explaining her decision to leave the show and declaring her love for the cast and crew.

Nina previously dated her co-star Ian Somerhalder for two years between 2011 and 2013 before they split. Ian is now engaged to actress Nikki Reed.

“Dearest TVD Family,
I've just spent the most beautiful weekend on Lake Lanier in Georgia with my own TVD Family, the cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries. I want to be the first to tell you that it wasn't just a holiday celebration, it was a goodbye party. I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime. I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger. I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there's still so much more to come before the season finale in May. Elena fell in love not once, but twice, with two epic soulmates, and I myself made some of the best friends I'll ever know and built an extended family I will love forever. Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth was snapped getting cosy with Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev over the weekend.

Fans spotted Miley’s former fiance in a bar in Atlanta, where he’s currently shooting The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2, spending some quality time with Nina and of course, they had to take a picture.

And post it to Twitter.

For anyone dubious about whether or not the brunette is Nina, several tweets went out from people at the bar that night confirming that both stars were there and hanging out.
