Any offspring of Noel Gallagher is bound to have a charming but sarcastic streak, aren't they?

And it looks like the singer's eldest child, Anais, is a chip off the old block if her recent activity on Instagram is anything to go by.

After clocking that her mum, Meg Mathews, had uploaded a shot of herself getting a massage, the 16-year-old couldn't resist ripping it out of her in front of thousands.

In a fairly smug Instagram post, Meg wrote: "Finished at last packing presents, Physio, homing dogs, and now Coco the best massage #missioni towels…spot Oscar sleeps between my legs for the whole time…”

Drawing a comparison between her mother's decadent lifestyle and the Unicef ad in the background, Anais wrote: "The irony of the ad behind."

With Missoni towels going for approximately £120 a pop, and Unicef reminding the public that they could supply those in need with a blanket for just £3, Anais obviously felt compelled to call her mum out on this one.

By the looks of things, the ribbing Anais gave her mum had a profound effect because it looks like the snap has since been deleted…

And it's official – we have a new hero.

In 1996, Noel Gallagher and Owen Morris from Oasis recorded music on a Caribbean island, only for the tracks to be lost after the completion of the album.

Their fans subsequently gave the tracks a mythical status as they remained lost for years.

Well now, the Mustique Demos have been unearthed in the depths of Big Brother Record's archive, and all 14 Mustique Demos will be available in special editions of the new Chasing The Sun edition of Be Here Now.

This is the first time these demos have ever been released to the public, and Don't Go Away is now available to stream and download here.

How exciting!

Poor Brooklyn Beckham didn't look like his happiest self at Noel Gallagher's concert last night.

David Beckham treated his son to a night out after the aspiring photographer split from his Hollywood actress girlfriend, Chloe Grace Moretz.

Seriously ridiculous … Paul weller & Noel G

Noel Gallagher has admitted that he will reunite Oasis with his brother Liam – but it's not without a cost, and a hefty cost at that.

The musician told the Daily Star: "I’d do it for £20 million for one gig – that is good money isn’t it? But I have never had that offer from anyone yet.”

The group broke up in 2009 after Liam and Noel had a massive argument in Paris, just before they were meant to go on stage, which ended up with Liam swinging a guitar for his brother's head.

However, despite fans begging for a comeback, Noel has pretty much dashed all hopes of a reformation, saying in previous interviews that there's a "one percent chance" of a reunion.

“There would have to be extraordinary circumstances, cause I wouldn’t do it artistically, I don’t need the money, I don’t need the record sales. I can’t think of a reason that I would look to do that. What would be the point? I don’t know. I don’t see what the point would be.”

The Wonderwall writer, who is currently recording his third solo album also told the Daily Star: “Liam is a very angry man still. So he is not cool. He tends to make the easiest things really difficult."

Well, that's our hopes gone down the drain.

If you're a Coldplay fan, then you're probably already excited about their upcoming studio album, BUT we have even bigger news.

The kings of pop are collaborating with the queen of pop; yes, Coldplay have teamed up with Beyonce fo their new album.

Queen Bey will feature in one song, as well as Noel Gallagher and Tove Lo featuring on other tracks.

A Head Full Of Dreams will be released early December, which means it's just in time for Christmas (and will probably be played at every Christmas party this year!).

Here's their new track from the upcoming album:

Born to west of Ireland parents Thomas and Peggy Gallagher, it’s no surprise that Liam Gallagher swings by every so often for a bit of a break.

What is probably more surprising, however, is that he is so eager to join in on a local Sunday night seisún.

Still, that’s exactly what happened earlier this week, when the former Oasis frontman called into JJ Finan’s pub in the town of Charlestown in Co. Mayo – where his mother grew up.

Delighting town residents present on the evening (one even made sure to shout out “go on, Gallagher!”), a guitar-wielding Liam joined local musicians in one corner of the well-known public house.

In one accompanying video clip later posted online, cups of milky tea can be seen alongside pints on the table in front of Mr Gallagher and his fellow performers.

Excitingly, the same clip appears to show the 42-year-old rocker singing previously unheard solo material.

Indeed, the song could well contain a reference to his estranged brother Noel, 48, who quit Oasis back in 2009 – five years before the group was eventually disbanded entirely.

The lyrics include the lines: "Yes I know, I've been wrong. Didn't do what I was told. Yes I know, I've been wrong. Didn't do what I was told. I ain't looking for no 9-5. Sick of wasting all my precious time. Cos it's alright. Cos it's alright now."

Noel’s latest solo album, Chasing Yesterday, was released in February, and Liam also sings the lyrics: "When I wake up and I hear you say, there's no love worth chasing yesterday."

Liam had flown into Knock airport – where he was required to take the obligatory ‘Mayo for Sam’ snap – late last week.

On arrival, Liam popped into the local Mace to pick up no fewer than nine bags of Tayto, five bags of Galaxy Minstrels, six Wispa Golds… and some shaving foam.

He also swung by Charlestown GAA club for photos there.

Reports suggest that he remains in the area now, though he intends returning to Britain shortly.

Noel Gallagher visited Cork to play the Marquee last week, and he got a little nostalgic being back in Ireland.

In an interview with the Irish examiner Noel let us in on a side of him that we had no clue about, he used to play Gaelic football.

He explained: "I was in a Gaelic football team in Manchester, it was fucking great and all." and it turns out, he even scored a point in the holy grail of GAA, Croke Park.

Noel said that there's a picture of him scoring the point floating around somewhere, he has seen it, but not in the last few years. A photo has emerged of the team he was on where he sits in front of the goalie before a match.

The musician is best known for previously being a member of the iconic band Oasis, but could a sporting career be on the cards for him?

Famed for teenpop classics such as Live While We’re Young, and What Makes You Beautiful – One Direction’s Liam Payne has made a surprising revelation about the band’s forthcoming album.

“The album is coming together really well actually,” he told Capital FM earlier this week. “It’s a bit Oasis almost – which is ace. Love that.”

Liam Payne says the new album will nod to Oasis

And as well as drawing on the musical talents of Liam and Noel Gallagher, Mr Payne added that they’re also finding inspiration in Ed Sheeran: “The songs have come out a bit more chilled because we want this to be a long-lasting album that you just can listen to anytime,” he explained.

“You know with Ed’s album you can listen to it anytime – anytime you throw on an Ed song it always makes sense. So we’re trying to do that.”

The former X Factor contestants are currently working with writer and producer Jamie Scott – the man behind the likes of Story Of My Life – and have been working hard in the studio to get their fifth album together; their first offering since Zayn Malik departed last month.

Noel Gallagher wrote many of Oasis's hits

Indeed, in the midst of a hectic touring schedule, One Direction’s management are pushing to get the finished produce out there before the end of the year. Although a release date has yet to announced, it is rumoured that late November has already been earmarked.

While rock star Noel Gallagher wasn't exactly known for his tame ways back in his heyday, we're still surprised to learn that the former Oasis frontman wasn't in the fullness of health recently.

The 47-year-old musician opened up about his medical struggles in a recent interview with The Telegraph, but refused to disclose specific details when pressed.

Talking about a trip to the doctors, the dad-of-three was advised by professionals that neglecting to take certain medication would have a catastrophic effect on his health.

Deciding only to divulge certain information, the frontman for Noel Gallgher's High Flying Birds  said: "Honest to God I felt all right when I went in, and the doctor made me feel like I was about to drop dead in the street when I came out."

The star then went on to explain that he had injured himself on a family holiday, saying: " Then my doctor put me on these tablets – I won’t tell you what for [and] told me that if I didn’t take them I would virtually drop dead. I was taking them for months and they made me feel awful."

Deciding to go against the doctor's wishes, the acclaimed musician took himself off the medication and insists that he's feeling better as a result.

We're glad to hear it, but do look after yourself Noel!

Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher learnt the hard way that you just DON'T mess with Ed Sheeran, after he made a throwaway comment about the singer earlier this month.

Speaking to music magazine NME, Noel branded Ed's music as "polished pop," adding, "I don’t think I can live in a world where [Sheeran playing Wembley] is even possible." Ouch!

Ed was quick to respond with a tongue-in-cheek message on Twitter to put Noel in his place:

Now though, the Thinking Out Loud singer has revealed that he also contacted Noel directly to get some mischievous revenge. "I texted him because I have his number and asked him if he’d like some tickets," the singer told Radio 2. "He wrote back, ‘You cheeky so and so. My daughter would love some.'"

See, even Noel can't resist Ed's charms!

Luckily the Oasis star's comments won't result in a lifelong feud, as Ed says he understands that these things have to happen. "He’s always going to be the guy who’s outspoken,” he said. “I wasn’t offended. I found it quite cool to be in his interview."

The red-haired singer added that every celebrity needs a certain level of criticism to stay down to earth. "“I get a lot of stick from press and people but it’s good to get stick,” he said. “If you speak to anyone from Adele to Chris Martin, they would say they are grounded cos they get a hiding from the press."

We're not sure we'd have taken things quite so well, but kudos to Ed!

Noel Gallagher caused a bit of a stir yesterday when he publicly dissed Ed Sheeran's music – but it seems Ed can give as good as he gets!

Reacting to the news that Ed had sold out three dates at Wembley Stadium, the Oasis frontman told NME, "I don’t think I can live in a world where that’s even possible."

He slammed Ed's work as "polished pop" and even (this really cut us deep!) called him just "a ginger guy with a f***king guitar."

Noel's quotes quickly spread online, but once they reached Ed's ears he was quick to show he really couldn't care less! The singer responded to an Independent UK article on Twitter with the best comeback EVER:

Just… brilliant.

The singer has always proven himself more than capable of taking a sly dig at his haters – as Ellie Goulding learnt the hard way when Ed slammed her cheating ways in his song Don't.

This latest response has definitely taught us one thing… don't mess with the Ed!

Many musicians should know at this stage that you don’t diss Ed Sheeran. You just don’t do it. He’s proved himself time and time again to be the nicest guy in music and we won’t stand for it!

Now, Oasis’ Noel Gallagher has added Ed to the list of singers he just doesn’t like, saying he doesn’t want to live in a world where the likes of Ed sell out three dates at Wembley Stadium: “I don’t think I can live in a world where that’s even possible. When you hear that kind of polished pop and then there’s a ginger guy with a f***ing guitar it seems subversive, but it’s f***ing not.”

Hmm, Ed is loved by millions of people around the world and we are certain they will NOT appreciate Noel’s words!

Irish fans of Ed will be delighted to know that the application process for an intimate gig in Dublin’s Whelans has officially opened and fans can register for tickets until 5pm on Friday.
