Kate Hudson’s dad has cut ties with her and her brother
Bill Hudson, father of Kate and Oliver, says his ex-wife Goldie Hawn has turned his kids against him and he now plans to break all ties with them.
In a not-so-nice father’s day post, Bill’s eldest child, Oliver who stars in the sitcom Rules of Engagement, shared a throwback snap with his Dad and sister with the caption “happy abandonment day.”
Having spent father’s day on a trip to the beach with his youngest child, Bill was not at all happy when he got home and saw the picture, and he didn't hold back when speaking to reporters this weekend.
To make matters even more dramatic, Kate and Oliver both decided to give a Father’s Day shout out to their mother’s long-time love Kurt Russell.
Oliver took to Instagram again to share a picture of himself and Kurt with the caption, "Happy Father's Day Pa," while Kate wrote, "Pa, just simply….. Thank you. Happy Fathers Day I love you to the moon and back.
Goldie and Bill divorced after four years of marriage in 1980, and the children were primarily raised by their mother and Kurt.
"I don’t want to see either of my eldest children ever again. It’s over," Bill Hudson told the Daily Mail following the posts.
He continued "I say to them now, 'I set you free,' I had five birth children [including three from another relationship], but I now consider myself a father of three. I no longer recognise Oliver and Kate as my own."
"I would ask them to stop using the Hudson name," Bill said. "They are no longer a part of my life. Oliver’s Instagram post was a malicious, vicious, premeditated attack. He is dead to me now. As is Kate. I am mourning their loss even though they are still walking this earth."
