After the huge success of their surprise single Drag Me Down in July, the One Direction lads have released details on what could be their final ever album.

A video posted to the band's official Twitter account today saw Harry, Niall, Louis and Zayn telling fans what to expect.

"Our new album Made In The AM is available for pre-order today," Harry explains.

Fans keen enough to order the album in advance will also receive a free instant download of the band's newest single Infinity.

The album will officially drop on November 13, though we can probably expect another "surprise" single release before then.

As fans will know, this will be the lads' last studio album before they take a long-term break in March of next year.

The news was confirmed last month, first by The Sun's Dan Wootton, and later by the boys themselves.

"We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year," Niall wrote on Twitter.

"Don't worry though, we still have lots we want to achieve!"

Record label boss Simon Cowell said news of a hiatus didn't come as a surprise to him.

"After five years – I know what their schedule was like – it was gruelling. They would have burned themselves out," he admitted.

"They got so successful so quick and they've got so many great songs now that they could be doing this for 5 years, 10 years, 20 years."

With no new music on the horizon for 2016, the lads' upcoming album is no doubt going to be a good 'un.

Naughty Boy might be getting along well with Beyoncé right now, but in not so distant past he was in the middle of very public feud with Zayn Malik.

The two were reportedly working on music together that would launch Zayn’s solo career after he left One Direction, but things took a turn for the nasty. Now Naughty Boy is speaking out for the first time on his apparently ongoing feuds with the boyband and one former Directioner.

He sat down with Lorraine Kelly to talk about his recent collaboration with Beyoncé but when Zayn and the boys came up, he couldn’t hide his irritation.

Talking about how it became “a bit of a circus,” Naughty Boy explained that the reason it all came about was because of how 1D fans accused him of trying to split up the band.

He did admit that he got “a bit caught up” in the whole ordeal.

"When Zayn left the group, I was accused of being the reason why he left. People thought he left because he wanted to work with me.”

He compared the row with Zayn and the band as being in primary school and said he doesn’t feel that One Direction are a band:

"One Direction aren't even a band. They're more like an economy. Not a band.”

He added that he’s not “a tabloid guy” and he doesn’t want to be in the papers, he just wanted to be known for his music, not celebrity feuds.

"I hated the [One Direction spat]. I want to put it all to one side now and move on,” he said before adding that now that he’s working people like Beyoncé he feels like he’s doing his masters.

"This whole year has been such a journey and to end on a note like this – I couldn't ask for more.”

The news broke back in July: Louis Tomlinson was expecting his first child.

The mother-to-be is 23-year-old LA-based stylist Briana Jungwirth – and although the duo are no longer in a relationship, both were said to be overjoyed as the prospect of impending parenthood.

Still, since the pregnancy was made public, countless fans have argued that the whole thing is entirely FAKE – construed to cover-up Louis's relationship with bandmate Harry Styles.

And while One Direction must have to take daily gossip in their stride – it seems this particular rumour has proved rather more unsettling.

In fact, Liam Payne has now publicly spoken of his anger relating to the matter.

“He’s very happy about becoming a dad.

"But the funny thing is, there are some people out there who think that Louis getting Briana pregnant is fake,” the One Directioner acknowledged to Attitude magazine during a recent interview.

"And that’s the sort of sh** that gets to me.

"But you have to hold your tongue and that’s fine. I mean, it’s not really any of my business anyway.”

The baby will arrive early next year, and Louis is said to be looking for houses in the Kardashian-approved neighbourhood of Calabasas, where Briana's family live.

Although Louis and Briana were never officially a couple, they did enjoy several dates in May, just weeks after the singer broke up with his girlfriend of four years, Eleanor Calder.

Liam Payne is definitely hitting back at his critics in his newest photoshoot.

The One Direction star did a rare solo shoot for gay magazine Attitude, framing himself once and for all as an LGBT ally. The new issue comes out tomorrow, and will have not one but two collectible covers.

"I'm on the cover of the new issue of @AttitudeMag," the singer wrote on Twitter today, shortly before the covers were released.

"Can't wait for you all to see the shoot!"

Liam came under fire last month when comments he made during a One Direction concert led to allegations of homophobia on Twitter.

Speaking to the crowd during a gig in Columbus, Ohio, Liam mentioned a song which was "about trying to find that number one woman of your life," something he said only the men in the crowd would understand.

He was later forced to set the record straight, telling his 20.9m Twitter followers that he was "in no way shape or form homophobic" and that he had not meant to "offend people."

Last week Liam's bandmate Harry also made a gesture of support to the LGBT community, draping a Pride flag over his shoulders during a New York gig.

Harry has always been vocal in support of his gay fans, with positive results.

After he publicly recorded a message of support for London's Lesbian and Gay Switchboard, fans rallied to raise over €15,000 for the charity in honour of the singer's 21st birthday back in February.

One Direction member Louis found himself at the centre of the media circus this summer when it was revealed that he is going to be a dad.

However, he may have just found himself upstaged and not by his own child, although we don’t doubt that could eventually happen. This time it’s his sister who has caught everyone’s attention.

Charlotte ‘Lottie’ Tomlinson turned 17 last month and has spent much of the last year on tour with her brother’s band. Working as an assistant to the boys’ hair and make-up team, it looks like all that practice is paying off.

In the last week, the beauty obsessed teenager has started her own YouTube channel and is posting video tutorials. So far she has two. One of them is achieve a ‘Mermaid Lip’ look while the other is for ‘Glitter Lips’.

While her YouTube fans continue to grow in numbers, her Instagram account has already amassed over 1.5 million followers.

Not surprising seeing as she’s been learning from hair and makeup guru to 1D Lou Teasdale and has had plenty of opportunity to get practice in. A video her doing Sophia Smith’s makeup generated some buzz a while back. Liam Payne's girlfriend uploaded the video to her own channel for the public to see.  So it’s no surprise she’s decided to take the leap and start her own channel.

Never one to turn down the opportunity for a good selfie, Lottie is also no stranger to the negative side of fame either.

Last month she faced serious backlash after a video emerged of her rapping a song that contained a racial slur. One Direction fans were quick to defend her, but much controversy surrounded the video and Lottie.

He never actually finished school – leaving Coláiste Mhuire in Mullingar when he was 16 and on the cusp of international stardom.

And while Niall Horan has since confessed that he wasn't always the most dedicated pupil in the classroom, he evidently was paying attention during French.

In a video clip posted to Instagram late last night, the 22-year-old One Directioner can be seen asking Mark, a burly member of his entourage, where they're off the next.

The best part? He asks in lightning-quick, très bien français.

The post has now notched up more than 400,000 likes and has attracted numerous comments which compliment Mr Horan on his pronunciation and proficiency.

En route to French-speaking Montreal in Canada, Niall and the rest of his One Direction bandmates last night performed at the Olympic Stadium as part of their On The Road Again tour, which concludes in October.

The pop-star was due to sit his Leaving Cert back in 2012, but after finding success on The X Factor in 2010, he left school aged 16.

He later spoke of his regret that he never got to see out his days in the classroom.

"My childhood was cut short by The X Factor," Niall explained last year. "One Direction took off and I never really got the chance to finish school or do my exams or anything like that."

Harry Styles has had a bad run of it lately in terms of on-stage injuries, but this latest one most definitely wasn't his fault.

The One Direction singer was hit in the face with a can while performing in Philadelphia, and his mum Anna Twist has had to speak out to stop a tirade of abuse from fans who want revenge.

1D fangirl Hanna Cooke flung the half-full drink can in Harry's direction while watching him perform, and since word got out that she was the culprit, she has faced a never-ending stream of cruel tweets and death threats.

Harry for hit in the head with a red bull can… What are peoples problems???? #OTRAPhilly

A video posted by ashley nicole (@ashley.1d) on

Anna, known to fans as 'Mama Twist,' even posted her own angry tweet, before backtracking hours later.

"So dangerous… THINK!" she wrote, before adding, "No harm done … This time … Unless you're on a sports field is it acceptable to throw things at people?! I think not."

Clearly seeing the error of her ways last night, Anna took to Twitter again to try and put a stop to the tirade of abuse being directed at Hanna from fans.

"OK peeps!! Please do not turn to bullying @HannaCooke17 … that serves no purpose. Please just learn from the incident & be kind," she pleaded.

Hanna has since taken to Twitter herself to try and set the record straight, saying she only threw the can in the hopes Harry would look over and spot her. As you do.

"I guess me and my friend wanted to get recognised and the only thing I could think of was the Red Bull my friend held," she wrote. "I threw it on stage hoping it would hit the catwalk…I thought it was empty."

First he snots himself on stage, then he has a can thrown at him… we can understand why Harry might be looking forward to that "hiatus" next year…

The One Direction boys are taking the U.S by storm on their latest tour and when they arrived on stage in Philadelphia they could think of only one way to mark the occasion.

The lads decided to perform their very own rendition of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song.

The crowd were very impressed with the performance, but one of the members was not so happy.

Niall joked with the crowd: “We didn’t think that through. We needed to rehearse it!”

After taking the lead on the 90s classic it would seem that poor Niall felt he could have given much more to their attempt at Will Smith’s somewhat iconic tune.

Apparently Harry was in agreement with him as he threw his microphone down before strutting off stage. He told the fans “it wasn’t clean,” while pretending to throw a strop.

While Harry seemed to be happy to joke about their failed cover, a separate incident on stage left him less than joyful.

His bad luck seems to be never ending as when he’s not falling down, he’s having bottles thrown at him.

A video surfaced on twitter which showed the star tanking fans for coming to their show. Just as he was walking through the middle of the crowd, someone threw something at the stage.

More fans were less than impressed with the behaviour, but this is not the first time Harry has gotten a few knocks on stage.

Earlier this year, making their first appearance without Zayn Malik, he was hit by a glowstick when one fan sent it flying into the air. An excitable bunch those Directioners…

With One Direction's long-term "hiatus" starting next year, the lads will have plenty of free time to do whatever they want without touring or recording commitments.

For Mullingar native Niall Horan, that could very well mean taking an extended visit to Ireland.

According to the singer's pal, presenter Eoghan McDermott, Niall has plans to purchase his own home here next year, with a view to spending more time on the Emerald Isle rather than in Los Angeles or London.

"He said he wants to get a place in Ireland next year," Eoghan told the Herald. "Not to necessarily spend all his time here, just to be in Ireland quite a bit."

Niall already has two lavish pads, a sprawling house in Hertfordshire, England which reportedly cost him €1.3m, plus another mansion worth almost €1.5m just down the road from the Kardashian clan in a gated community in Calabasas, California.

When he does visit Ireland, the 21-year-old usually stays with friends, or at home in Westmeath with his family, so it's understandable he'd like his own place if a longer trip is on the cards.

As for his next career move, Eoghan reckons the singer might give some part-time broadcasting work a go. "He wants to do a bit of presenting, not in a mad capacity. I think he will be brilliant at it. If I can get him in for a show that would be class."

Niall was one of the first 1D members to address rumours of a split last month, taking to Twitter saying the boys would be taking a "break" but were not quitting for good:

Roll on 2016 so NiallWatch can begin in full force on this side of the Atlantic…

Andrew Hozier Byrne has finally given us an insight into who he likes to hang out with in his spare time and we want to join the crew.

The singer posted a picture on Twitter yesterday in which he is partying with One Direction members Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan and one of our favourite people, Ed Sheeran.

This group of lads look like they are having some serious craic as they pose in the photo booth with drinks in hand and Hozier said: "I had to hang this on a fridge. I had to. Fun times."

The Bray singer recently announced that he might be taking a break from music for a while.

While on BBC's radio's Good Morning show, he explained that a hiatus may be on the cards, the same week One Direction announce the same thing.

“It’ll be nearly two years on the road at that stage, and I’d loved to take a break and think about the next album,” he said

Hozier, who has become extremely successful in just two short years, has been touring the world non-stop since he gained success with Take Me To Church.

The singer was also nominated for two MTV VMAs last night for Take Me To Church which was up for Best Rock Video and Best Direction.

Niall Horan sure knows how to clear up rumours!

Hours after it was announced that One Direction will be taking an extended hiatus to focus on individual projects, Niall took to Twitter yesterday to clarify some inaccurate news that has been floating around the internet.

In his Twitter message he wrote, "Ok so lots of rumours going around. We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year".

"Don't worry though, we still have lots we want to achieve!".

In another tweet he continued to say, "Can't wait for you to hear all the new music we have for you and to perform some new songs as the tour continues! Love you all xx".

Shortly after Niall's tweets, band-mate Louis Tomlinson spoke out about the speculation.

"Your support is truly indescribable! It's just a break… we're not going anywhere!! Promise".

The groups "well earned break" won't begin until March 2016.

A source assured E! News over the weekend that their are no problems with the group and instead are simply exploring new opportunities that are coming from their already-successful careers.

"They are great friends and fully support one another".

"They are aware that they are able to work on their own stuff as well as remain together. This is an exciting time for them creatively and as a group".

The source added, "They envision a future together but with the freedom to do other things as well".

Rumour has swirled ever since Zayn Malik unexpectedly departed the band in the spring.

This evening, and despite notching up a huge hit in Drag Me Down – their first release as a foursome – it seems that One Direction will indeed go their separate ways in March of next year.

The decision was seemingly made during crunch talks in London last weekend.

However, The Sun, which is claiming an exclusive on the story, also says fans should not lose all hope: the guys intend on making more music together some time again in the future – albeit after they've pursued solo material and projects over the course of at least a year.

A source close to the boyband told the newspaper: "The guys have been together for five years, which is an incredible run for any boyband.

"They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects. There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 percent behind the decision."

The source added: "They fully intend to get back together at some time in the future."

Liam, Niall, Harry and Louis have several high-profile gigs lined up for the rest of the year – performances which they will honour. The band will furthermore regroup after Christmas to polish off their various contractual commitments.

The Sun also says that the 1D time-out has nothing to do with Mr Malik's departure.

"This was the plan with or without Zayn," the insider revealed. "In fact, the band have been making amazing music and been incredibly happy without Zayn.

"Of course they would have preferred that he had stayed in the band, but they would have taken this extended hiatus even if he hadn’t left."

The band was formed on the UK version of The X Factor in 2010. Their debut studio album Up All Night was released in November 2011 and topped the charts in 16 countries.

Their forthcoming fifth album – from which Drag Me Down is taken – will be unveiled later this year, and it had been expected that One Direction would embark on an arena tour in 2016 to promote the release.

As part of their current On The Road Again tour, they play three live dates in Dublin in mid-October, before moving to Belfast on October 20.
