It seems that Katy Perry is just like us when it comes to break ups.

The singer took to Instagram to showcase a brand new, post-breakup haircut after her split from Orlando Bloom, and it's a pretty dramatic change.

The songstress opted for a bleach blonde, choppy pixie cut that's giving us major Miley Cyrus vibes.

The new 'do looks drop-dead gorgeous on the star, and proves that post-breakup hair changes aren't just for us mere mortals. 

Whether Katy cried over a pint of Ben & Jerry's has yet to be revealed, but it's always a possibility. We knew she was just like us!

Not content with just debuting her new look, the singer also hopped onto Twitter to make a snappy statement abut her breakup. 

"No one's a victim or a villain, get a life y'all!" she said.

"You can still be friends and love your former partners," said the star, ceraly referencing that things are amicable between herself and LOTR star Orlando. 

The pair were together for just over a year, but the couple have called it quits on their relationship for the time being.

“Before rumours or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time," reads a statement from both celebrities' reps, acquired by People. 

Hopefully the two enjoy their break and then rekindle their relationship.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been together for just over a year, but the couple have called it quits on their relationship, at least temporarily. 

“Before rumours or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time," reads a statement from both celebrities' reps, acquired by People. 

The two were spotted together on Sunday at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, where they posed for photos together.

However, a source said that other than smiling for the cameras side-by-side, the two didn't have any further interaction. 

"Katy didn’t spend much time with Orlando,” the source told People.

“They got together for a photo, but that was about it.”

No exact reason has been given yet for the split, but with Katy's busy schedule promoting her new single Chained To The Rhythm and Orlando focusing on his ambassador role for UNICEF, clashing work commitments could be the cause.

Hopefully the two enjoy their break and then rekindle their relationship.

The ultimate it-couple, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom spread some Christmas cheer by visiting the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The cute couple donned some festive ensembles, dressing up as Santa and Mrs Claus to visit the sick children.

The duo chatted and posed for photos with the hospital residents, who were more than delighted with their famous visitors.

They also passed out gifts and sang carols, at one point even singing a sweet duet at the children's request. 

“Never naughty, always nice. The kids at CHLA received a much-deserved visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus… who happen to look a lot like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom!” the hospital wrote, in a Facebook post praising the celebs for giving up their time to visit the hospital.

The couple have been dating for almost a year after first being spotted together at a Golden Globes after party in January.

OK, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are either engaged or are playing a huge joke on us, because… well, LOOK at the size of that ring!

The pair have been together since the beginning of the year and stepped out in New York together on Monday night.

Not only did Katy have a massive smile on her face, but she was rocking a huge diamond ring on her wedding finger.

And eyewitness told ET: "She walked with her left hand leading her, and bent her hand to show off the large sparkler to the cameras.

Whether it's a big joke on us, we don't know, but they do look happy together.

The website claims that both stars are not taking it very well, but the reason for their split is still unknown.

A source said: "Not long after Halloween, Orlando confessed to pals that he'd decided to end their relationship. He claimed that he's just not ready to get married and have babies."

However, another source is claiming that it was Katy who said goodbye to her actor beau.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are one of the most out-there celeb couples at the moment, and they certainly upped their Halloween game last night.

The pair attended Kate Hudson's Halloween party and went dressed as Hillary and Bill Clinton.

They were joined by a whole host of stars including, James Corden, Emma Roberts, Jessica Alba, and Isla Fisher, but by far they had the best costume of the night.

Before Katy left for the party she shared a hilarious photo of being pampered as Hillary on Instagram.

When she’s not busy dominating the music industry and crushing Donald Trump on Twitter, Katy Perry spends her time delivering babies!

Speaking at the Once Upon a Time Gala for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles over the weekend, the 31-year-old Californian revealed that she has helped deliver not one, but two of her sister’s children.

The Roar singer explained to Us: “I see the amazing things of birth and children and vulnerability and how we have to take care of them and how big of an impression we have. It’s such a responsibility.”

And it seems bonding with her new family members may have made Katy broody for her own.

“Children to me are becoming a big focus,” she said.  “I don’t even have one, but I see it in my sister’s kids and just how much nurturing and love they need.”

In addition to her sibling’s babies, Katy has reportedly been spending quality time with her beau Orlando Bloom’s five-year-old son, Flynn.

When a gal is content for her boyfriend to go naked paddle boarding in full view of the paparazzi, you imagine she's pretty chill about everything else in the relationship too.

But it sounds like Katy Perry picks and chooses her battles if a recent interview with Women's Wear Daily is anything to go by.

While naked watersports is a go'er, living in Malibu is most definitely not.

Not content with Orlando's decision to set up shop by the beach (is she serious?), Katy vented in a way which has many of us here at SHEmazing! HQ shaking our heads in confusion.

"My boyfriend lives in Malibu and getting used to that drive was, like, ‘Are you kidding me? What kind of life is this?"

"There’s no pop-over and I never really got used to Malibu ‘cause it’s halfway to Santa Barbara, so I’m always just going to Santa Barbara then." she sighed.

While she acknowledged the perks of living by the sea, she insisted that people were less likely to come visit due to the distance.

"I get the whole coming to L.A. and living by the beach thing," she admitted before adding "But it’s really… it’s so far, nobody who lives in town is going to come see you."

Jeez Katy, sounds like your wallet is too big for your fifties as well…

Remember when Orlando Bloom decided to go paddle boarding on holidays, and the whole world suddenly realised that they were mad into seeing a celeb go paddle boarding on holidays?

Especially when the celeb in question is butt-ass naked, but hey, no judgement here.

Well, while the rest of us committed the next 12 hours to sourcing uncensored snaps of Orlando in all his glory, the man himself was having somewhat of a meltdown.

So much so, he sought the advice of his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, and admitted he was feeling a bit scarlet over the whole 'let's go naked in front of paps' thing.

Speaking on KISS FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show this week, Miranda revealed that Orlando, who is now in a relationship with Katy Perry, text her to give her a heads-up about the whole thing.

"Oh my god, he texted me and he was like, 'Um, I'm really embarrassed. Some photos are coming out. Just thought I should let you know," she recalled.

The model, who shares a five-year-old son with the actor, admitted she was less impressed by his decision in comparison to the rest of us… who were in full support of it.

"I was like, ‘Right, what were you thinking? Seriously, what were you thinking?' she said. "Obviously he wasn’t!"

Ah no he was, he was just giving the people what they want, sure.

With two particularly high-profile relationships behind them, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are reluctant to get too serious too soon, but it looks like it might be heading that way anyway.

Katy, who was once married to Russell Brand, and Orlando, who shares a son with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, began dating at the beginning of the year, and by the sounds of things, it's getting more serious by the second.

According to a source close to Orlando – he of the naked paddle boarding – he's head over heels about Katy, and can already see them starting a family of their own.

Spilling the deets to PEOPLE, an insider said: "He would love to settle down with Katy and have more kids. He hasn't been this serious about a girl since Miranda."

Explaining that Orlando has fallen hard for the Rise singer, they added that he "always gushes about Katy and thinks she is amazing in a million ways,"

But it sounds like Katy is leaning more towards keeping things simple, with the insider adding: "Katy's divorce from Russell [Brand] really messed her up emotionally."

So while they're not engaged just yet, this source is confident wedding bells are on the horizon, saying: "[It] seems to be heading that way."
