It doesn't matter how many weekend breaks we take or how many weeks away we book, we have never managed to pack our cases in any way that resembles the work of a functioning adult.

Vastly overestimating how many pairs of shoes we'll need while drastically underestimating how many packets of facewipes we'll need, our packing process amounts to a sh*tshow of the highest order.

So when Rosie Huntington-Whiteley sat down with Vogue to share her travel hacks, we were all ears, and ladies. it was a revelation.

It turns out there is an art to this whole thing, and it's time we ALL got in on it.

"Recently, I’ve challenged myself – because I come back and forth from LA so frequently – to pack less," she explained. "The last few times I’ve thought, ‘OK, this is crazy, I pack so much, I don’t wear any of it, I need to get more organised."

"So I said to myself, ‘I’m only going to pack four colours: navy blue, white, grey and black," she continued. "The same with shoes, the same with accessories, the same with all my clothes.”

"It was amazing because basically it meant that everything worked together,” she said.

“The white shirt worked with the black jeans; and then the black jeans worked with the grey sweater; and the grey sweater worked with the white pants, so everything was interchangeable and versatile – like taking a uniform as opposed to just lots of different things."

OK, so while rocking a uniform on your holidays doesn't sound very appealing, if it's good enough for R H-W, we're on board.
