Paul Walker’s big screen legacy will live on with the help of his beloved brothers.

The late actor’s brothers are helping to “fill in small gaps” in Fast & Furious 7 action sequences not finished before the actor’s death, producers said yesterday.

Walker died in a car crash during a break in filming last November, forcing a halt to production.

“We had to take time to grieve Paul, the brother we love and lost, and to figure out if we should move on with our film,” producers wrote to fans in a Facebook post.

The decision to resume filming was “the only choice,” the statement said. “We believe our fans want that, and we believe Paul would want that, too.”

“We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our ‘Fast’ family,” the post said. “Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us, too.”

The movie was to have been released this summer, but Universal pushed it back to a U.S. release of April 10th, 2015.

“This film is the most important we’ve ever done together,” the post said. “It will allow the character of Brian O’Conner to live on and let us celebrate Paul in his most defining role.”

Walker’s character is a staple of the long-running film franchise.

Directed by James Wan, it also stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez and Jason Statham.

Rapper-turned-actor Ice Cube has slammed MTV for losing out on an award that went to the late actor Paul Walker.

Ice Cube was not happy that the award for Best Onscreen Duo was dedicated to Paul Walker and his co-star Vin Diesel at Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards for their performance in Fast & Furious 6.

Ice Cube insisted the award should have gone to him and Kevin Hart for their performance in Ride Along, and said the only reason Walker, who died in a car crash in November, won was out of “sympathy.”

“We was robbed,” he said. “Shame on MTV.”

“We had the best chemistry of everybody nominated. For us not to win was crazy,” Ice Cube added.

Ice Cube did however add that MTV should have given the late actor the award before he passed away.

The star left the awards halfway through the show saying afterwards, “I just wasn’t into it. I have been going in and out of these things for 25 years.  If you ain’t into it, why torture yourself?  As soon as you get bored, get up and leave.”

The custody battle  over Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow has taken an interesting turn, as Paul’s mother has agreed to hold off going to court, as long as Meadow’s mother promises to go to rehab.

Paul’s mother, Cheryl Walker went to court with Meadow’s mother, Rebecca Soteros this week.

Rebecca began court proceedings requesting custody of her daughter after The Fast and Furious star’s death last November.

Meadow moved to L.A. to live with Paul three years ago after her mother’s drinking problem worsened and got charged twice by the police for drinking under the influence.

Paul did state in his will that he wanted sole custody of his daughter to go to his mother. However, Cheryl has agreed to consider Rebecca’s custody demands, as long as she keeps her promise to go to rehab.

Meadow is still living with the Walker family, we just hope this gets sorted for Meadow’s sake.

According to TMZ, glasses worn by the late Paul Walker are reportedly up for sale on auction site Bidami.

That’s not all, in a show of complete human disregard, the seller is also trying to flog a fire extinguisher they claim to have picked up from the scene of the crash.

The seller says he was at the crash scene last November and claims to have offered help but was pushed away by the police, no surprise there. Once the wreckage had been removed, the seller then felt that was ok to have a rummage around the area.

However, he claims that he didn’t realize they were the Fast and Furious star’s glasses and it only became apparent when photos of the actor wearing them earlier in the day were released that he realised who they belonged to.

The 40-year-old actor, who died last November after the car he was in lost control and hit a light post and a tree, left behind a fifteen year old daughter.

According to the site: “These auction items are offered with the acknowledgement of Paul Walker’s immeasurable charitable contributions. A portion of the proceeds will benefit savethemustangs.org one of the main charities BidAMI partners with.”

Bidding has already reached $605.00.
