Are you one of THOSE people? The person who still watches the Friends repeats on Comedy Central because it is pure telly gold. Sure, years after it was actually on the air we could see it had more than a few issues; Ross still being a Class A jerk (they were not on a break and Rachel deserved better), some gags that weren't exactly PC and diversity in casting? Yeah, there was none tbh.

But, it was of its time. We loved it then, we still (or, for the most part at least) love it now and to fuel our obsession with too much coffee and Joey's love of not sharing food (sometimes, being selfish is worth it) Penneys have just announced a new Friends-themed collection.

This (amazing) duvet set is €20

For fans of makeup, making sure the company you're buying from is cruelty free can be difficult.

While as a society we no longer accept animal testing as appropriate, there are still some cosmetics brands who action it.

Penneys PS… Beauty range has just been officially certified as a completely cruelty free brand, so if you're shopping there, you no longer need to stress over the unknown impact yur purchase could have on animals.

The Leaping Bunny mark the PS… collection has been awarded by Cruelty Free International means that the ingredients and manufacturers have been meticulously examined, and found to be completely cruelty free.

Speaking at the Dublin launch of the news, CEO of Cruelty Free International Michelle Thew said that over the last 18 months, Primark have opened up their production methods and subjected their products to an independent audit.

The Leaping Bunny accreditation guarantees that the company have been investigated thoroughly, and have been completely transparent with the ingredients in their products.

It's a guarantee from Cruelty Free International that shopping Penneys PS… range is shopping cruelty free.

'No one on the street wants this to be happening to animals,' said Thew, reflecting on the fact that as a society, we have moved away from accepting the barbaric conditions animals are put through for the sake of cosmetic testing.

'It's time to consign this to the history books,' Thew finished.

In a statement on the move, Primark said: 'Penneys has worked very closely with Cruelty Free International to rigorously audit the entire PS… product range over the last year.'

'The Leaping Bunny accreditation is the most trusted cruelty free certification for non-animal tested cosmetics. Leaping Bunny is the internationally recognised gold standard certification programme that enables consumers to easily identify and buy products that are not tested on animals.'

'Penneys wants to let customers know that they can purchase their favourite PS… products with the guarantee that the entire range has been awarded the highest standard of cruelty free accreditation.'

As well as being cruelty free, there have been steps taken to ensure that the PS… products also line up with vegan ethics.

The vegan boom is well under way, with vegan options making their way out of speciality health stores and into major supermarkets and big brand names.

Veganism is on the rise, as consumers eschew eggs, dairy and meat in favour of mycoprotein and coconut-based substitutes.

The lifestyle also calls for an elimination of beauty products which test on animals, or include animal by-products.

With a huge brand like Penneys making an innovative move like this, we can only hope that other companies follow suit.

Chunky runners are the trendiest footwear look of the season, inspired by high end designers like Vetements and Balenciaga.

Penneys is hot on the heels of the runway designers, nailing the chunky, sporty platform with ease.

A new arrival at their stores and part of their A/W collection, these white and cream sneakers will be glued to our feet all summer.

At only €18.00, they're a far cry from the eight hundred quid you would pay for the designer version.

We can see ourselves donning a denim skirt and white t-shirt with these bad boys for brunching with the gals, or dressing down a floral, floaty dress with their sporty aesthetic.

Go full on 90's and opt for some skinny tracksuit bottoms and a crop top for a unique night-out look, or team with a little black button down dress for LA-girl cool.

A pair of these is our absolute must buy this season.

Penneys has just majorly impressed us with the latest offering from its beauty department.

The high street haven has just released a new line of delightful miniature perfumes, and with names like Mermazing, most of them are right up our alley.

One bottle in particular caught our eye, thanks to its distinctly gin-related moniker.

We love a good G&T in the SHEmazing office, so imagine our delight when we spotted these bad boys in the Mary Street store.

Tom Collins is the name of one of their brand new scents, and the fresh yet smoky scent is unisex perfection.

With hints of juniper and grapefruit, it's the perfect A/W signature scent.

A Tom Collins is traditionally made using gin, lemon juice, sugar, and tonic, and there are notes of all of these flavours in the scent.

At €2.50, you could nab one mini bottle for every handbag you own.

See you in the queue!

As the saying goes, Penneys is a girls best friend – and while we frequent it's hallowed halls in pursuit of staples like bobby pins and ankle socks, it's also a covetable destination to nab the latest trends on a budget.

The high street behemoth launched it's Autumn Winter 2018 collection today, and we were on hand to witness the key pieces being released to stores nation wide over the coming weeks.

From pearl-studded berets and plaid skirt suits, to oil-slick puffa jackets and Balenciaga-esque platform runners, there were pieces to suit all fashion aesthetics.

Heady textures and popping prints we're the theme of the collection, with mohair-style sweaters in acid shades and mixed-material shoes featuring across the collection.

A faux pony-hair finish on classic leopard print pointed courts caught my eye immediately, and a pair of foil-effect, cobalt blue strappy sandals screamed to be teamed with a denim mini and white shirt for a night on the town.

Kim Kardashian would have approved of the next pair of heels to pull my focus, as the classic black suede sandal was updated with a perspex toe-strap.

Boots also featured heavily, what with it being the autumn winter collection, however if you were looking for plain black boots, look away now.

Flat white boots were one of the biggest trends this summer, and they're getting an A/W update with an elevated heel and Western finish.

Stiletto heels were lower, and teamed with a mustard suede, ankle skimming bootie I'm already doing to pair with frayed hem, straight-leg jeans and a band tee.

'Sneaker' culture is becoming more and more prominent on our little island, and Penneys is nailing the chunky, Balenciaga-style sporty platform with ease.

Clash these runners with a floral mini and denim jacket to create an on-trend summer look for the warmer months, before adding them to black skinny jeans, a turtle neck and duster coat as the weather turns.

Knitted style runners also made an appearance, this time with a modern, colour pop sole.

Not for the faint of heart, colourful leopard print has been one of the key trends for the upcoming season thanks to that Tom Ford red leopard suit.

This red leopard print, ruched neck dress is my top style pick from the collection, thanks to it's versatile but statement style.

I can see this green slip being a festival favourite, teamed with fishnet tights and chunky black boots. Oh, and a face full of glitter of course.

Clashing colours were a running theme, as were co-ordinating sets, both of which came to fruition in this yellow and blue, Clueless style skirt suit.

This suit with a white t-shirt and the chunky white runners from earlier would create the most Insta-worthy OOTD.

A slightly unforeseen trend, Russian football scarves have been spotted all over the fashion week style blogs, and Penneys made their own offering with this piece, a complete statement on it's own.

With festival season looming, rain-repelling puffa jackets are an essential (and they double up as a pillow, FYI).

This rainbow coat is perfect for Pride weekend next month, while the paisley piece makes morning dressing a breeze – all you need with this jacket is black jeans and a t-shirt and you're good to go.

Check out the rest of the collection on the SHEmazing Instagram story at @shemazingie – pieces landing in Penneys stores nationwide in the next few weeks.

So summer is here, and the holidays are on the horizon.

Whether you're going to Spain, Mexico, or Cork, you will need an SPF to prevent burning (and ageing, am I right?)

Anyway, as you all know, usually buying sunscreens is expensive.

I actually underestimate the cost of getting a few bottles of cream and an aftersun.

That was, until the fabulous humans at Penneys launched their fab range of sun care – which features everything from hair pil, to aftersun.

Seriously, everything you could possibly need to the summer months is on a shiny shelf in Penneys.

You are WELCOME.

PS… Hair and Scalp Spray, SPF 30, €4.

PS… Sun Protect Oil Spray, SPF 10, €4.

PS… Sun Protect Sun Lotion With Golden Shimmer, €4.

PS… Sun Protect Clear Spray, €4.

Festival season is the horizon, with Life festival a mere week away (make sure you get out and vote before you head down peeps).

With the seasonal festivities come festival beauty trends – most of them including glitter and sparkly gems on any available skin.

Bum gems reared their heads os a trend to watch last year, with the likes of The Gypsy Shrine featuring bedazzled behinds all over their Instagram.

Now, high street haven Penneys is getting in on the look for summer 2018.

The one stop shop ius selling packets of 'self adhesive body gems' specifically designed for your rear.

Any inch of bum below the shorts is a viable candidate to be gem-ified, and while many any scoffing at the concept, we're actually feeling it.

Gems, €4.00

If you want to get you bum out and sprinkle it with iridescent jewels, then we salute you.

Live your best life gals, with or without sparkly cheeks.

However, our only issue is with the porta-loos… if we lose a gem to the seat of a public festival toilet, we certainly aren't going back for it.

However, we do love when our adult life meets our childhood somewhere in the middle.
