He apparently only split from his fiance and long-term partner Perrie Edwards in the last few weeks. 

And she, of course, remains loved-up with her rapper beau of a year, Tyga.

But we can't help but think that Zayn Malik, 22, and an almost 18-year-old Kylie Jenner would be the celebrity world's most perfect couple. 

And evidently Mr Malik, who boasts some 15million followers on the social media platform, likes what he sees on Ms Jenner's Twitter feed.

Before hitting a VIP enclave at the famed Warwick nightclub on Sunset Boulevard in LA last night, he made sure to favourite a previous snap of Kylie's – one where she looks particularly gorgeous in a mesh Dolce & Gabbana dress. 

Significantly, however, the image was posted a full week ago – meaning that, in all likelihood, Zayn was having a bit of a root around her profile at the time. 

Hey, we've ALL been there. 

Prior to last night's seal of approval, the former One Direction-er had only added his orange star to a total of nine tweets – meaning the teenager joins an especially illustrious group.

We await further developments – but wouldn't it be oh-so great if Zayn turned up to Kylie's totally OTT 18th birthday bash in Canada in ten days' time?

Perrie Edwards has finally spoken out about her split from Zayn Malik following the news yesterday.

Little Mix appeared in an interview on E! in LA and Perrie was there looking gorgeous just hours after the news broke. 

The presenter asked her how she was as many fans are worried about her "Perrie, obviously I know it's a very tough time for you with the news breaking today about you and Zayn, so your fans I know are heartbroken," the presenter said.

"Everyone just kind of wants to know how you're feeling?" and she replied saying "I'm good, thank you".

One of her bandmates then came to the rescue before she was asked too many questions and she said "We don't really want to talk about it"

The presenter then said "You have your girls and I'm sure they're being a great support," before leaving the matter and moving on. 

The news broke yesterday that Perrie and Zayn had called of their relationship which ended after a two year engagement. 

Although the break-up was only announced to the public yesterday, it is thought that the couple ended things a few weeks ago. 

Their reason for calling it quits is still unknown however a source told Us Weekly that Zayn wanted to leave the past behind him. "He just wanted to move on and start over in all ways," the insider revealed.

After a two-year-engagement, it's reportedly over for former One Direction member Zayn Malik and his fiancée Perrie Edwards.

Although news of the split has only been confirmed to the media today, it's thought the relationship ended a couple of weeks back. It was Zayn who called things off, leaving Perrie "devastated," a source tells People magazine today.

"She's been putting on a brave face as Little Mix have had promotion to do, but she's obviously devastated," the insider said. "Perrie's being supported by her bandmates, but she's really in pieces about this." 

Speaking about Zayn's reasons for the shock split, another source told Us Weekly that the singer wanted to leave the past behind him. "He just wanted to move on and start over in all ways," the insider revealed.

The couple got engaged in August 2013 and although they have always remained vague about when their wedding would take place, the fact that they reportedly purchased a house together just weeks ago makes the split all the more shocking. According to The Sun, Zayn and Perrie signed the deed on a £3m (€4.1m) mansion just outside London last month.

There's no doubt that 2015 has been a rocky year for the couple. Back in March, Zayn abandoned One Direction's world tour to fly home to Perrie, after a photo of him with his arms around another woman, a fan named Lauren Richardson, emerged online.

The picture was taken in Thailand during the Asian leg of One Direction's On The Run tour, and when another photo appeared online of Zayn holding hands with the same woman, speculation began mounting that he had been cheating on Perrie. He quit the band just days later, and while he and Perrie have presented a united front ever since it seems things just weren't to be.

The pair are both currently in Los Angeles, but according to People's source, they have yet to see one another since the split. However Perrie has definitely been showing Zayn what he's been missing with a series of bikini shots posted to her Twitter yesterday:

It was only yesterday that Zayn Malik shocked the world by releasing a bunch of tweets slamming his former music producer and friend, Naughty Boy.

Since then, it has been reported that the 22-year-old has reached out to his former One Direction bandmates to try and reconcile their differences.

According to HollywoodLife.com, Zayn has reached out to the boys after realising that they are the ones who really have his best interests at heart.

An insider revealed that “Zayn has spoken to Louis Tomlinson, 23, and the 1D boys in the past few weeks after realising more and more that Naughty Boy was only out for himself. “

While Zayn has no current desire to return to the band professionally, he is eager to mend his relationship with the remaining four members.

The singer, who is engaged to Perrie Edward’s, has reportedly even apologised to Louis for everything that happened and for their Twitter feud. The source explained that “Zayn wanted to reach out and make sure they all knew he was still their brother.”

It has also been reported that he has ditched Naughty Boy in favour of music producer Sarah Stennett. So it certainly looks like Zayn is totally done with the 30-year-old musician, both professionally and personally.

A lot has happened since Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards got engaged back in 2013. Not only has their relationship been rocked by more than one cheating scandal, in March Zayn also made the life-changing decision to quit One Direction and move home to the UK.

While it's uncertain whether the young couple will be walking down the aisle any time soon, this week they made a huge step together towards long-term commitment. According to The Sun, Zayn and Perrie have signed the deed on a £3m (€4.1m) mansion just outside London.

The luxury home, once owned by a Premier League football star, has six bedrooms and five bathrooms split across two wings. It also comes equipped with an orangery, kennels, a 25-acre garden and a three-bedroom guest cottage, if Zayn wants to have any of his former bandmates over to stay. "They're engaged and need somewhere they can both call home – and this house is it," a source told the newspaper.

The pair have been looking for a house together since Zayn's shock 1D departure four months ago, and in late March were seen viewing a seven-bedroom property in Hertfordshire.

It seems the purchase of a new home is the couple's way of giving two fingers to their critics too – it's Zayn and Perrie's way of letting the public know they are rock solid. "This is a big statement by Perrie and Zayn," the source explained.

"They've had to shoot down rumours of a split after his exit from the band and this is both of them showing everyone just how serious they are."

The lavish home is just half an hour from central London, and the source said Zayn and Perrie both feel it will be a "safe haven" for them away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. We can't wait for our invite to the house-warming…

Ever since former One Direction singer Zayn Malik and his girlfriend Perrie Edwards of Little Mix fame got engaged in 2013, the former's fans have taken to social media to voice their unease.

We thought we had seen the height of their dedication when the 100 days since Zayn left trend went viral. This is taking it to new extremes, however, and some fans are not too pleased with the trend taking over.

The couple have been in no rush to walk down the aisle since their engagement, and Perrie has recently said that all of the questions about her future wedding were starting to get on her nerves.

In an interview with Capital FM she said: "I am sick of getting asked when is the wedding, when is the wedding? I'll get married when I am bloody ready! Amen!"

Meanwhile, Zayn has credited their busy working schedules with keeping them from walking down the aisle already, last year he said that “we’re just kind of engaged, we just haven’t had time to organise things like that.”

Well, if the nearly 100,000 tweets are supposed to cause a change of heart from Zayn, it doesn’t look like the wedding will be happening. Ever.

It could be a busy few years for Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards by the sounds of it.

Now that Zayn is no longer a member of the world's biggest boyband, he has plenty of time to focus on making a future with his fiancée, and it seems Perrie is keen to get things started.

The pair have yet to set a date for their wedding after a two-year engagement, but Perrie definitely has a timeline set out for one other aspect of their life together – their family. Speaking to reporters this week, the Little Mix star said she would ideally like to have a baby in the next three years.

"Well, I would say 24 and that's in three years' time for me," she told Fabulous magazine. ''My mam was 24, though, so that's always been my ideal age.''

The 21-year-old singer reckons she has plenty of time to prepare for motherhood, and told the magazine that 24 was "still quite a while away." 

Perrie was also determined to clear up some nasty rumours about her relationship with Zayn, most notably that she was the driving force behind his decision to quit One Direction back in March. Just days after photos surfaced online of him with his arms around another woman while on tour in Thailand, Zayn flew home to the UK for crisis talks with Perrie, and quit within the week.

"If he'd wanted to stay, I would have supported him just the same as I have since he's left. If he's happy then I'm happy," Perrie said of Zayn's shock exit from the band. 

"People have said did I do this, did I do that? No matter what decision he made, I was always going to support him."

Sounds like this pair have each other's backs.

It looks as if Zayn Malik may be leaving Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco, to go and work with rapper 50 Cent instead.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has already admitted to wanting to work with Zayn. “I want it to happen,” he told the Sunday Mirror.

“I can make him a lot of money and he can make me a lot of money,” Mr Jackson said. “The point I am making is he needs to be working with the right producers, artists, and people in the genre.”

The 39-year-old hip hop and fashion mogul has reportedly wooed Zayn by telling him that if he tries to make rap music with a pop label it could be “a little cringe, and he doesn’t want that.”

While Zayn maintained that his reason for leaving 1D was because he wanted to lead a normal life, it looks as if Perrie Edward’s fiancé has already begun work on his career as a solo artist.

Zayn has been working with producer friend Naughty Boy but their relationship has already been ensnared in controversy. 

The rapper MIC Righteous released a track that had Zayn's vocals on it. But Naughty Boy instantly claimed that the track was stolen and unfinished. 

The producer tweeted saying “Just wait for the real one… you won’t be disappointed. That had nothing to do with me or Zayn, something was stolen from the hard drive that had nothing to do with the rapper involved.”

As the La La La producer has already been involved in a heated Twitter feud with Louis Tomlinson, it looks as if Zayn could be playing it safe by jumping to 50 Cent’s label and avoiding any further controversy.

Rumours about what the former One Direction star is going to do next have been circulating like wildfire ever since his departure from the band.

But now, fans may be able to get excited because it looks as if his next venture could be into fashion.

A source close to the 22-year-old told The Sun that “Zayn has always been very creative and introverted.”

“He tried out various looks and styles during his time in One Direction, which led to interest from top fashion houses,” the source continued.

However, 1D fans who were left devastated by Zayn’s parting from the band can take some comfort in the fact that Zayn has no intention to leave his music career behind.

According the source. Perrie Edwards’ fiancé will always have music as his first priority. But they believe that fashion could be a big move for the singer too.

“The long term aim could be to potentially earn a big-money endorsement deal with a huge fashion brand,” the source explained.

We’re so excited to see what a Zayn clothing line could look like… once he’s wearing it on stage that is!

The couple have been engaged since August 2013 but are reported to have been on the rocks several times during their relationship. 

We knew this would happen at some point (since they are engaged and all) but upon hearing her introduce herself as Perrie Malik, fans have began sending her abusive tweets.

Back in May Perrie said she didn't know when the wedding will be as she is still touring with Little Mix as part of the Black Magic tour.

In an interview with the Sun Perrie said “We’re still planning it but I’m so busy with Little Mix now Black Magic is coming out.”

“Me and Zayn want it to be perfect, so as soon as I have a bit of time we’ll plan it. I doubt it will be this summer – but I’ll let you know,” she went on in the interview.

Neither Zayn nor Perrie have taken to social media to confirm or deny these rumours so it looks like we will just have to sit tight until they do!

Lauren Richardson was the envy of millions of girls worldwide when she was spotted holding hands and snuggling up to Zayn Malik on a trip to Thailand back in March.

However, Lauren, also known as ‘tattoo girl’, was brought back to reality in the most recent episode of Love Island: she was left mortified as no one came forward to pick her.

"This is a bit awkward isn’t it?" the East Londoner uttered in response. Later in the episode she broke down in tears confessing that she feels like "the ugly duckling of the group".

As if that wasn’t embarrassing enough, lonely Lauren has to cope with the rest of the islanders gossiping about her much-publicised relationship with the former One Direction heartthrob.

It seems that for most of the show the rumour surrounding that photo of Lauren and Zayn was the only thing the 11 other contestants could talk about. Ms Richardson tried to control the gossip, reasoning that "I didn’t sleep with him," and that "there was just a picture of us holding hands when we came out of the nightclub".

According to the 26-year-old, the whole incident was blown out of proportion, but that hasn’t stopped her fellow islanders keeping the rumours circulating.

She says she is also still facing heavy criticism from One Direction’s fans, explaining on the show: "My Instagram is the worst. I will post a picture on Instagram and they will be like: 'Oh we hate you, you're a home-wrecker, we want to kill you." Yikes!

Luckily it wasn’t all doom-and-gloom for Lauren as later in the show she was paired up with the cheeky Joshua.

At least Zayn’s fiancé, Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, 21, doesn’t seem to be worrying too much about the TV programme either. She attended the Frankie And Benny's Rays Of Sunshine Concert in London with her bandmates on the very night that Love Island first aired.

Yes, it took us by surprise too… but Zayn Malik has dyed his lovely locks a lime green.

At least his fiance, Perrie Edwards, seems happy enough about it.

The former One Direction star is evidently going for a completely new look and, according to Twitter, the dramatic change was prompted by World Environment Day.

Little Mix's Perrie posted a snap of her and her green-haired beau looking cozy on her Instagram account, entitling it “#greenhairdontcare”. The hashtag has since begun trending worldwide on Twitter.

Rumours of trouble-in-paradise between the long-term pair have been circulating recently, but they certainly seem extremely happy together in their latest photo.

Considering all the unfavourable reactions to Mr Malik's decision to quit the mega-selling band, perhaps it's no coincidence his new look is reminiscent of the green-haired Batman villain, The Joker.

Since leaving One Direction to live his life as a “normal 22-year-old”, Zayn has also gotten a nose piercing.
