Twitter reacts to the death of Game of Thrones actor Peter Vaughan
He was one of the most popular characters on the Game of Thrones, but sadly, Peter Vaughan has passed away at the age of 93.
The actor was best known for playing Maester Aemon Targaryen in the hit HBO series.
His agent, Sally Long-Innes, confirmed the news to BBC today: "This is to confirm that very sadly Peter Vaughan passed away at approximately 10.30 this morning.
"He died peacefully with his family around him."
When the news broke, many fans took to Twitter to pay tribute to Peter:
