The eyes of the world were placed firmly on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle yesterday when the royal couple tied the knot in a spectacular ceremony at Windsor Castle.

However, the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have little time to celebrate and are reportedly putting off their honeymoon as royal duty calls.

The newlyweds will make their first official engagement as husband and wife this Tuesday at a garden party for Prince Charles' 70th birthday – but it's their international schedule that we're most excited about.

According to The Irish Independent, arrangements are being put in place for a royal visit to Ireland in the coming weeks, though the trip will not be the official honeymoon.

Sources told the newspaper that the Duke and Duchess are likely to attend a series of engagements over the two-day visit.

For security reasons, details of royal trips are normally kept under wraps until a short time before, though a source did say that Dublin "will possibly be the first foreign trip after their wedding."

We can't wait to welcome the Royals!

There's been much speculation leading up to the wedding about what title Prince Harry and his bride-to-be would be granted as they start their life together as husband and wife.

It's tradition for the monarch to offer members of the royal family a title upon their nuptials, which is why Prince William and Kate became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Now the 33-year-old Prince has received his new title, which Meghan Markle will be given, too, once they tie the knot later today.

"The Queen has today been pleased to confer a Dukedom on Prince Henry of Wales.  His titles will be Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel," the announcement from Buckingham Palace reads.

"Prince Harry thus becomes His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, and Ms. Meghan Markle on marriage will become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex."

It was long suspected that Harry would be given this dukedom, as the Daily Mirror reported back in 2011 that he had been promised the title if he wed.

The last person Duke of Sussex was Prince Augustus Frederick, who held the title until his death in 1843.

Even though he was married twice, neither of his wives became the Duchess of Sussex because his father did not approve of the marriages. That means Meghan will be the first-ever Duchess of Sussex!

The Earl of Dumbarton is a title that hasn't been used for more than 260 years. The Scottish peerage has been held by only two men previously: a father and a son, both soldiers named George Douglas.

It feels fitting that a title with such military history has been granted to Harry, considering his own service in the Army Air Corps.

Baron Kilkeel has never been given as a royal title before. Kilkeel is a town in County Down, Northern Ireland.

Yesterday Meghan Markle confirmed the sad news that her father, Thomas, will not attend the royal wedding tomorrow.

The 73-year-old was originally going to walk his daughter down the aisle but is no longer able to.

"Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding," Meghan said in a statement released by Kensington Palace, "I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health.

"I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support. Please know how much Harry and I look forward to share our special day with you on Saturday."

Now it's been revealed who will be accompanying the former Suits star as she walks down the aisle on her big day.

The 36-year-old actress asked her soon-to-be father-in-law Prince Charles to take on the job.

The 69-year-old seems happy to fill the role. A statement from Kensington Palace on the matter reads, "The Prince of Wales is pleased to be able to welcome Ms. Markle to The Royal Family in this way."

As well, he has no daughter of his own, so this may be the Prince's only opportunity to take part in this long-standing tradition.

We look forward to seeing them walk together arm in arm tomorrow!

There’s less than a month to go until the wedding of the year. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will tie the knot at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle on May 19.

We’ve been finding out all the wedding details as we inch closer and closer to Harry and Meghan’s big day.

We know what flowers the Suits actress will have in her bouquet, we know what the invites look like, we know what music they’ll have during the church ceremony, and now we finally know who will be Prince Harry’s best man.

Kensington Palace revealed that Prince William will be his best man at his wedding to Meghan Markle.

“Prince Harry has asked his brother The Duke of Cambridge to be his Best Man at his wedding to Ms. Meghan Markle,” Kensington Palace confirmed.

Harry served as best man to The Duke of Cambridge at his wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011.

William said he is honoured to be Harry’s best man, “The Duke of Cambridge is honoured to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St George's Chapel, Windsor on May 19th.”

Prince William recently spoke about how they grew close after the tragic death of their mum Princess Diana. “Our relationship is closer than it's been because of the situation we've been through. Losing our mother at a young age it's helped us travel through that difficult patch together,” William admitted.

The Duke of Cambridge explained that supporting one another through the grieving process strengthened their relationship, “You're like-minded. You go through similar things, it's a bond and it's something you know you've tackled together and come out better for it."

William was 15-years-old, and Harry was 12-years-old when Diana lost her life following a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris, in 1997.

There will be one very special person missing from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding on May 19- Harry’s mum, Diana, Princess of Wales. When he was just 12-years-old Harry tragically lost his mum Diana following a horrifying car accident in Paris.

The 33-year-old has shared that he wants to honour his mum during this monumental chapter of his life. When Harry and Meghan announced their engagement news, he revealed that he made sure to make Diana part of the special occasion.

During an exclusive interview with Sky News, he shared that Meghan’s engagement ring featured diamonds from his late mum's personal collection.

“The little diamonds either side are from my mother’s jewellery collection to make sure that she’s with us on this – on this crazy journey together,” he revealed.

Meghan will also honour Princess Diana with her wedding bouquet. The former Suits actress has chosen to have Diana’s favourite flower in her bouquet- white garden roses.

They will also feature in the church floral arrangements- how touching!

Diana won’t be there to enjoy the big day with her youngest son, but he knows that she’s with them celebrating somewhere.

Harry believed that his mum and Meghan would have been “as thick as thieves” if she was still here today, “She’d be over the moon for me, but she would have been best friends with Meghan.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will tie the knot at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018.

We all know that royal life is steeped in tradition, from the way they celebrate Christmas to how they announce the birth of a new family member.

Of course, much of that custom comes into play when it comes to the upcoming nuptials of Prince Harry and his bride-to-be, Meghan Markle.

One particular tradition means that Prince Harry can't technically pick William to be his best man.

In fact, Harry won't have a best man at all.

Instead, he, like past royal grooms, will choose 'supporters'.

"The 'best man' or 'best men' are officially called 'supporters'," British and European royalty expert Marlene Koenig explained to Town & Country, "William will probably be Harry's supporter."

Back in 1981, Prince Charles chose his brothers, Andrew and Edward, to be his supporters when the Prince of Wales married Diana.

The Duke of Cambridge, however, broke with tradition when he dubbed Harry his best man, according to The Guardian.

As far as we know, William has not been asked to be his younger brother's supporter or best man – yet.

Considering Harry's tendency to break with tradition, we could see the 33-year-old potentially calling his brother his best man if he chooses Will.

The two are so close it seems likely that Harry will pick his big brother to be there by his side as he marries the love of his life.

Either way, we can't wait until the big day! May 19, here we come!

So unless you've been living under a rock for the last few months, you'll know that Prince Harry is engaged to the beautiful Meghan Markle.

The pair will exchange vows on May 19 (we have it in the diary), and everyone is getting pretty excited about it.

Naturally, a lot of companies are jumping on the royal wedding bandwagon – with special edition product being released all ove the place.

Our favourite so far? It has to be the chocolate treats with the couple's faces printed on them.

To celebrate the Royal Wedding this May, ChoconChoc.co.uk have created luxurious white chocolate hearts featuring the royal couple themselves!

The chocolates are available free at Harry’s Bar in London, with every purchase of the ‘Harrypolitan’ cocktail (yes that is a thing) or can be bought online from Choc on Choc’s website for just £4.99.

Small price to pay for genuine joy.

The little white chocolate treats even come in a special box, making them a really cute gift idea for any royal enthusiasts.

However, if you're not particularly in to the whole royal wedding, fear not, as Chon on Choc have so many amazing creations.

For example, why not chow down on this impressive chocolate cheese board? No actual cheese involved, fyi.

Or what about a chocolatey 5-a-day?

Or, you could simply take a bite out of a Birkin? Yes please.

We must admit that we were pretty excited when Lifetime revealed that they were making a movie about our favourite royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

We have been counting down the days to the Royal Wedding, and this teaser trailer has made us that little bit more excited.

Starring Parisa Fitz-Henley as Meghan Markle and Burgess Abernethy as Prince Harry, Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance will follow the pair’s love story, featuring some of their most memorable moments, including the engagement.

We aren’t the only ones who are looking forward to this cheesy movie. Fans quickly commented on the teaser trailer, “Viewing party at my house! pyjamas and wine,” one fan joked.

Another added, “I'm a big dweeb but I really can't wait to watch what will undoubtedly be a schmaltz-fest.”

We will certainly be hosting a movie night when Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance is released.

Lifetime confirmed that the movie will make it’s debut on Sunday, May 13.

Ed Sheeran has reportedly been asked to perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, the same day he is due to perform in Dublin's Pheonix park.

According to US Weekly, the singer has already been approached by the Royal couple, though it it not yet known whether her accepted the offer.

A source told the publication: “Prince Harry has personally requested Ed perform at his wedding”.

While this may come as one of the greatest honours of Ed's career so far, the news sparks disappointment for many Irish fans.

The Royal wedding falls on the same Ed is due to perform the last of three gigs scheduled for Dublin's Pheonix park, though given the short flight time between Dublin and London, it's possible that the 26-year-old could do both in the same day.

Kensington Palace announced earlier this week that the wedding ceremony will begin at midday at St. George's Chapel, followed by a private reception for close friends and family.

Ed is yet to comment on the news, but we're hoping the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity doesn't put the Dublin gig in jeopardy.

We are counting down the days to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding day, and as we get closer to the special occasion, more and more details are emerging about their big day.

From Prince William’s role in the wedding to Meghan’s wedding dress designer, there are 101 things we want to find out.

What flowers will Meghan have in her bouquet? What type of cake will they have? What will their first dance song be? The list of questions is never-ending.

We welcome any information about the royal wedding with open arms, so it’s safe to say we were thrilled to hear about the tradition Meghan will be breaking during her wedding.

The former Suits actress is supposedly going to give a speech at the event, which is extremely uncommon when it comes to royal weddings.

Usually, only the groom, the best man and the father-of-the-bride have the honour of speaking during the wedding. However, in one very badass move, Meghan will be delivering her very own speech following their marriage ceremony at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

A post shared by Kensington Palace (@kensingtonroyal) on

Apparently, Meghan’s speech will be a heartfelt tribute to Prince Harry, where she will thank her husband-to-be for everything, as well as all the people who have supported their relationship.

The Times suggested that the former actress may even add a few jokes to her speech, which we're sure Prince Harry will approve of.

We can’t wait to hear more about Harry and Meghan’s big day!
