Prince William

She (not to mention the adorable Prince George) wowed yesterday at Queen Elizabeth's birthday celebrations in London.

Yes, there was no denying that the Duchess Of Cambridge, who gave birth to Princess Charlotte on May 2, looked absolutely incredible donning a blue and white floral pattern dress by Catherine Walker.

But earlier today, and decidedly more dressed-down, the 33-year-old really turned heads.

Wearing a striped navy long-sleeved top, navy skinny jeans, and nautical-inspired flats, the Duchess and her husband Prince William attended a charity polo event in Gloucestershire.

And certainly, a mere six weeks after giving birth, she has regained her pre-pregnancy already.

Kate was kept busy running after an active George, who turns two next month.

The toddler looked stylish, complementing his mother's attire in navy, knee-length shorts, a white collared t-shirt, and a blue buttoned cardigan.

Making it a real family affair, also in attendance at the Beaufort Polo Club soiree was Prince William's cousins Peter and Zara Phillips, who turned up with their respective spouses Autumn Phillips and Mike Tindall, as well as Princes Charles and Harry.

In fact, William, 32, and Harry, 30, even got in on the action, taking to their steeds to take part in a couple of the polo matches – much to the delight of the crowds.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Kate and Wills have now hired a new housekeeper for their rural abode, Amner Hall.

US Weeky confirms that 33-year-old Sadie Rice, who previously worked for Crown Prince Haakon and his wife Mette-Marit in Oslo, has already taken up her position.

Her duties will include running the house, cleaning silver and glassware, being in charge of household supplies, preparing and cooking meals, taking care of the royal couple's wardrobes, and caring for the family's dog Lupo.

We just can’t get enough of this little guy!

Prince George has done it again. As well as grabbing everyone’s attention after the birth of his baby sister just six weeks ago, he has now stolen the spotlight at The Queen’s birthday celebrations.

All eyes were set to be on Kate Middleton, who was making her first public appearance since giving birth in May. But her two-year-old son is the one who has caught the public’s admiration, yet again.

The young Prince was carried by his father, Prince William, out onto the Buckingham Palace balcony, as part of the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony.

The adorable heir pointed excitedly down at the crowd, while Kate gave him a smile from behind William’s shoulder, instigating the toddler to try out his royal wave.

The ever so charming 22-month-old played with his dad’s uniform throughout the appearance, totally wooing the crowd. And we all melted when he reached for William’s nose and landed his little finger in his dad’s mouth.

Meanwhile, Kate looked as radiant as ever in a blue Catherine Walker coat dress and a hat by Lock & Co.

It doesn’t exactly come as a shock that the 33-year-old Duchess of Cambridge looked so well only 6 weeks after the birth of her daughter. It was only 10 hours after the Princess was born that Kate wowed the world by looking like she had just come back from a retreat!

Now all we can do is sit tight and hope that Princess Charlotte gets to make her next public appearance sometime soon as well.

Not long over a month after giving birth, Kate Middleton is set to make her debut public appearance as a mother of two.

The annual Trooping the Colour ceremony will be in full swing tomorrow afternoon to celebrate the Queen’s 89th birthday (even though her actual birthday was in April).

The festivities mean that the Royal family will be out in full force, with Prince Charles and Prince William riding horses alongside Princess Anne as part of the procession. Kate will ride alongside Harry in a horse-drawn carriage.

A source had previously told OK US that the Queen “thinks a month is more than enough time for Kate to take off before she should return to performing her royal duties.”

The Duchess of Cambridge’s maternity leave this time round is even shorter than the 39 days she took off from her royal duties after the birth of Prince George in 2013.

We can’t wait to see the family together and we have no doubt that Kate will look as stunning as ever, even with such a short maternity leave.

The first official image of the royal cutie Princess Charlotte and her gorgeous big brother, Prince George, has now been released by Kensington Palace.

And suffice to say that we're transfixed by the duo.

The baby girl, who emerged into the world on May 2, can be seen nestled contently in her brother's arms.

Significantly, we can also see her blue eyes for the first time. Her hair is sandy brown.

The shot was taken in mid-May when Charlotte was still just two weeks old by the children's mother, the Duchess Of Cambridge. The family was at home in Anmer Hall at the time.

Both are largely clad in pure white, though George has a smart blue trim on his shirt. He also sports blue shorts and matching blue knee-socks.

The newest little Cambridge is seen in snug knitwear – reflective, no doubt, of the unseasonable chill of last month.

The Duchess is known to be a keen amateur photographer – and her father, Michael, also took the first official shot of George during the summer of 2013 at the Middleton holding in Bucklebury.

It emerged earlier this week that Charlotte will be christened on Sunday, July 5, by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

The event will take place at the small St Mary Magdalene church on her great-grandmother the Queen’s Sandringham estate. The church is also within walking distance of William and Kate’s country abode.

George himself, being directly in-line to the British throne, had a somewhat more elaborate baptism.

Taking place on October 23, 2013 at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace in London, the Archbishop Of Canterbury also resided over proceedings.

Just 22 guests were in attendance, made up of four members of the Middleton family, the child’s seven godparents and their spouses, and senior royals.

Princess Charlotte will also wear the same gown that her brother wore before her.

Modelled on a version donned by generations of British royals since the Victoria era, the current robe was actually designed by Angela Kelly in 2004.

The Queen had asked her senior dresser to create it as she deemed the original to be too fragile for further use.

For George’s big day, Kate wore a stunning Alexander McQueen jacket and matching knee-length skirt in a gold-tinged cream hue.

She completed her look with a co-ordinating pillbox hat by Jane Taylor millinery, and Russell & Bromley nude court shoes in patent leather.

Prince George turns two on July 22 – and it is rumoured that his parents are already planning a garden fete-style bash at Anmer Hall to mark the occasion.

After just four weeks of maternity leave, Kate Middleton is looking set to return to her royal duties.

With the Queen’s birthday parade looming on 13th June, it has been reported that the Queen is expecting the Duchess of Cambridge to be there.

This four weeks maternity leave is even shorter than the 39 days the Duchess took after the birth of her son, Prince George, in 2013.

A source close to the royals told OK US that the Queen “thinks a month is more than enough time for Kate to take off before she should return to performing her royal duties.”

This will be Kate’s first public event since the birth of her daughter, Princess Charlotte. The whole world will be watching and we already can’t wait to see what elegant ensemble she will be donning this time.

Meanwhile it’s already business as usual for William who jetted of to Switzerland last week for his first public duty since the birth of his daughter.

Four weeks isn’t a long time but we are already dying to see some more family snaps now that Kate is almost back!

At last! Prince Harry has been introduced to the royal cutie, his niece Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.

With the Duchess going over her due date by about ten days, her brother-in-law missed the opportunity to meet the newest addition to the family before he departed for Australia and New Zealand for a month-long military stint.

Charlotte, who was only seen in public on the day of her birth – May 2, is now three weeks old. Harry reportedly visited her on Friday at Anmer Hall, Wills and Kate’s sprawling 10-bed country abode in Norfolk.

At the Chelsea Flower Show last week the prince was asked by the BBC when he’d finally meet Charlotte. He replied: “We’ll wait and see. That still hasn’t happened yet. I only got back yesterday afternoon.

“Time will tell when I have a chance.”

The day after her birth, he had said in a statement: “She is absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to meet her.”

During his time in Australia, the young royal was inundated with gifts for the new baby. “I have been given a hell of a lot of cuddly toys,” he told the gathered media in Sydney earlier this month.

Harry, 30, clearly adores kids and it is likely that his position as favourite uncle, a title he’s worked hard to earn since the birth of Prince George two years ago, is secure with Princess Charlotte.

Indeed, while in New Zealand, Prince Harry admitted that he’s eager to settle down and start his own family.

And yesterday, Harry had yet more good news – namely a Most Valuable Player Award, which was presented to him during a polo match held at Cirencester, 150km north-west of London.

Ronan Keating is a very lucky man, not only is his wife-to-be a beautiful model, she is also related to royalty.

His fiancee, Storm Uechtritz, is related to Prince William through Frederick Louis of Wales, the son of George II. Storm is Prince William's seventh cousin, while George and Charlotte are her seventh cousins, once removed.

Well that sounds a bit confusing…

We expect Storm and Ronan were extra excited to hear about the birth of the second royal baby, Charlotte. The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her adorable daughter over the weekend.

Mail Online have reported that Ronan is "proud" to be joining a family with such "incredible heritage".

They have also reported that Frederick Louis' daughter Caroline Matilda married into the Danish royal family in 1766. Storm's great-grandfather was her illegitimate grandson Richard Parkinson, and he married a Samoan princess and lived in Papua New Guinea.

Woah, now that is what you call family history.

Ronan and Storm only recently confirmed their engagement. The Australian beauty had been dating Ronan for three years before he popped the question.

With the amazing news that the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a daughter this morning, attention swiftly turned to her first appearance – and the moment has arrived!

Kate, who welcomed a baby daughter in the early hours of this morning, made her first appearance on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital this evening.

The Duchess looked radiant and delighted, with a beaming Prince William at her side.

Prince George was at the centre of the celebrations earlier today, having been collected by doting dad William this evening. The adorable tot waited on the steps of the Lindo Wing with his dad, waving to the photographers.

The Princess was born at 8.34am this morning, weighing in at eight pounds and three ounces, with the wonderful news being announced on Kensington Palace’s official Twitter account.

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am…The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth,” read the message.

The birth of Britain’s newest princess came after a week of waiting, with media and members of the public setting up camp outside the hospital in anticipation of the big event.

We are so thrilled for the family.

More than a few days passed her due date, the Duchess of Cambridge finally went into labour this morning, entering Lindo Wing at 6am today.

Now, after the world spent the day glued to computers and TVs, we can announce that Kate has given birth to her second child – a healthy baby daughter!

Weighing in at eight pounds and three ounces, the newborn's name is yet to be announced.

The baby was born at 8.34am this morning, and betting odds are favouring Alice for the name.

With the arrival of the new Royal, Harry is now fifth in line to the throne; although we doubt he’s thinking about that right now as he celebrates becoming an uncle for the second time.

Like everyone, we’re obviously dying to get our first glimpse of the little Royal, but for now we wish William and Kate all the luck in the world and hope they really cherish this special time.

Congratulations!

Today, the 9th January 2015 marks The Duchess of Cambridge's 33rd birthday! Yes, Kate Middleton is celebrating her birthday and we have taken a look at her best moments to date.

The Duchess certainly isn't your average royal – and these moments just prove it!

Here are our top 5 favourite moments from Kate Middleton over the years:

5. When she wiped Prince George's drool on her dress
Believe it or not, this actually made headlines at the time…People everywhere were delighted to see that the mum was more interested in her son's teething issues than worrying about her designer dress. Go Kate!

4. When she met Beyoncé and the world didn't know how to react
It's not easy to upstage Queen B…unless you're The Duchess of Cambridge that is! Two of the world's most loved women in the same room? If Oprah had walked in the place would have imploded.

3. When she emerged from St. Mary's Hospital as a brand new mum looking incredible in that now-famous blue polka-dot dress
So. Cute!

2. When she walked up the aisle to her Prince Charming in THAT dress
That veil, that train…basically every bride since has wanted some aspect of that look on their big day. And who can blame them – look at her!

1. THAT side-eye…
Nobody puts the Duchess in the corner!

US basketball star LeBron James is under criticism after he put his arm around Kate Middleton’s shoulders, breaching royal protocol.

The Duchess was attending a game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Cleveland Cavaliers in New York City, where she and Prince William were presented with NBA jerseys and posed for photos with LeBron.

Etiquette expert William Hanson blasted the move to the MailOnline, saying: “It’s an American being too touchy feely and he shouldn’t have done it … A shower would have been preferable but he had just finished a game – so even more reason for him not to have opened his pits by lifting his arm and placing it around Her Royal Highness!”

Ouch – harsh words! Well, we thought Kate wouldn't have minded a bit, but looking at the photo, she does look a little bit awkward…!

The incident was a reminder of the time Michelle Obama was slammed for putting her arm around the Queen back in 2011.

Vanity Fair has denied photoshopping their cover of the royal family to cover up Prince William's bald spot.

Many people had speculated that the cover appeared to show Prince William with a much more well-endowed crown (sorry) to the original image.

The magazine addressed the speculation by saying: "We did not Photoshop the cover to make Prince William appear to have more hair. We gave the image a poster-like palette. We added some shadow to Prince William to make the white type more legible, and to place more emphasis on Prince George.”

Although it does look like Prince William got a little help in the hair department (and what harm!) the cover looks great, and the family look cute and happy!
