Former Glee star Mark Salling has reportedly been accused of raping a 22-year-old woman.

The woman alleged that she and the 34-year-old actor entered a room to have sex, but when she changed her mind, she claimed that he refused to stop and forced himself on her.

At the time she had been dating Mark for a couple of months.

According to TMZ, the alleged victim filed a police report in April this year, nearly four years after the alleged rape is said to have occurred.

The L.A. County District Attorney is currently in the process of deciding whether or not to file charges against the actor.

In May this year, the singer-songwriter was indicted for possessing child pornography.

Ending a four-year long campaign to clear his name, footballer Ched Evans has been found NOT guilty of raping a teenager on a drunken night out.

Mr Evans had faced a retrial over the alleged attack on a 19-year-old woman at a Premier Inn in north Wales in May 2011.

An earlier conviction had found him guilty of rape.

A jury took just two hours to clear the 27-year-old of one count of rape at Cardiff Crown Court today.

The former international striker for Wales has always maintained his innocence, maintaining that the sex was consensual.

He spent two-and-a-half years in prison as part of his original sentence.

A female judge is facing a campaign to be suspended following an 'offensive' line of questioning towards a rape victim when she tried to report the incident.

The woman, who is also five months pregnant, had turned to police to report her partner who she claimed was "repeatedly abusing her both sexually and physically."

When the woman tried to tell her account of being sexually assaulted at her local police station, the magistrate is believed to have interrupted the story by asking humiliating questions.

The judge is said to have asked the woman if she had closed "her legs and all [her] female organs" among other questionable enquiries.

Judge Maria del Carmen Molina Mansilla is now facing a campaign calling for her suspension spearheaded by the Clara Camoamor Association, a group that campaigns on behalf of victims of sexual crime.

"She showed obvious disbelief of the testimony of the victim, questioned her without allowing her to answer, asking leading and offensive questions," said a spokesperson for the group.

The group is also claiming that Maria has shown similar attitudes towards other victims and they had received similar complaints about the judge in the past.

"Such questions are not only unnecessary to the investigation but are completely offensive and violate the dignity of the victim.

"Unfortunately this is not an isolated act but such behaviour [by this judge] is habitual and continuous."

Have you been wondering why you haven't had any more delectable pop tunes from Tik Tok singer Kesha?

Well it's because she simply can't release any more music for the time being.

The 28-year-old is currently embroiled in a complex court case as she battles to be released from her recording contract with music moguls Sony.

Through Sony, Kesha worked with producer Dr. Luke whom Kesha claims abused his professional relationship with the star by drugging and raping her shortly after her 18th birthday.

The popular singer was seen weeping yesterday as a judge ruled that her 6-album contract with Sony is to be upheld.

This means that Kesha cannot release any music outside of her dealings with Sony which have obviously turned incredibly sour.

The hit record producer, who has worked with the likes of Jessie J and Katy Perry in the past, never faced charges over the incident and Kesha fears that the record company will not promote her music properly if she does not work with their biggest hitmaker, which is of course Dr. Luke.

Celebs have been quick to rally around Kesha in what is set to become a lengthy battle with the record label and the hashtag #freekesha is gaining traction on social media.

The international meet-up of a controversial "pro-rape" online group will include an event this weekend in Co. Kildare.

Return Of Kings, a site which calls itself a "blog for heterosexual, masculine men" and states that "a woman’s value significantly depends on her fertility and beauty" is planning 165 meetings across 43 countries this weekend.

Ireland's meeting is scheduled to gather in front of the main entrance of Naas Courthouse at 8pm on Saturday, with the site adding that protests will be "likely."

The website also lists a bizarre question ("Do you know where I can find a pet shop"?) and answer which participants can use to find their "fellow tribesmen" at the event.

Return of Kings is led by a blogger named Daryush Valizadeh, who recently pledged for rape to "not be punishable by law" once it took place on private property.

His views led to a 50,000-signature petition aiming to prevent Return Of Kings gatherings taking place in Scotland.

Other meet-ups have been scheduled for various US states, Australia, China, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Austria, France, Germany and the UK among other places.

Hazel Behan spoke on The Ryan Tubridy Show on 2FM yesterday where she recounted her rape experience, and now her story is making headlines worldwide.

The brave woman told Ryan how she was raped in Portugal back in 2004 when she was working at a resort as a rep. Telling the presenter how she had always felt a ‘presence’ in her small apartment where she lived alone, she was awoken one night by a man in a black mask calling her name.

What Hazel endured next was very hard for both for her to recall and for Ryan and listeners to hear. She was tied up and raped for four hours: “It feels so surreal, like I’m talking about something from Law and Order Special Victims Unit. I shut off. My thing was to figure him out, I’m going to get out of this, I won’t let him beat me.”

Her rapist was never found, with Hazel saying that the police didn’t take it as seriously as they should: “I think they wanted to protect the holiday industry, they didn’t want it to be known that this happened in a holiday resort.”

Hazel’s story has left a huge imprint on the Irish people, and now beyond that as people took to Twitter to applaud her bravery for bringing her story to the forefront: “I want to do this for other girls, I want to tell people not to give rape victims the pity eyes, it does happen, it’s not something that you just see in the movies, but at the same time people must be sensitive to what other have gone through.”

Girls creator and star, Lena Dunham has written about a painful experience she encountered while in college.

In Lena’s new book, Not That Kind Of Girl, she relates an incident in which a friend told her she [Lena] had been raped, to which she says she: “burst out laughing.”

She describes the encounter as “aggressive” and also says she required medical attention afterwards, knowing that something very bad had happened to her: “I knew that it wasn’t right and I knew in some way that this experience had been forced upon me.”

Lena says that it took her a long time to overcome the horrific incident: “It was a painful experience physically and emotionally. And one I spent a long time trying to reconcile.”

The successful writer also said that it took her a long time to be honest with herself about what had happened that night: “It wasn’t something that I was able to be honest about [at the time]. I was able to share pieces, but I sort of used the lens of humour, which has always been my default mode, to try to talk about it.”

Lena also said that although the chapter about the date rape was difficult for her, she knew it was important to share: "The chapter about date rape in the book was a really, really terrifying thing for me to put into the world."

We’re glad that Lena found the strength to talk about what had happened to her.

A Garda investigation into a woman alleging she was raped by a man she met over Tinder is currently underway.

The woman says that she met the man in a coffee shop in Dublin last Thursday after talking to him over the popular dating app for four days.

However, things took a sinister turn when the man forced the woman, who is believed to be in her 30’s, into his car before driving to the M50 where the terrifying sex crime took place.

It has been reported that the man drove around looking for a suitable secluded spot before the rape took place.

Following this, the alleged rapist dropped the woman home.

The woman was understandably terrified.

This is the first reported incident of its kind in relation to Tinder and is a reminder of how careful we all need to be when using dating apps.

Cee Lo Green has avoided being charged with rape after the court found that there wasn’t enough evidence to convict him.

A woman had alleged that the singer gave her ecstasy without her consent during dinner, and when she woke up in his bed the next morning, she wasn’t sure what had happened the night before.

Green’s lawyers argued that the two had ‘consensual relations’, and due to the lack of evidence, Green walked away with only three years’ probation and 45 days of community service instead of a jail sentence.

However, Cee Lo wasn’t happy with being able to sleep in his own bed instead of bunking with another prisoner that night. Instead, he decided to voice his opinions on Twitter, and as we all know, Twitter and angry celebrities do not mix.

Check out his tweets (which have since been deleted, along with his entire Twitter account) below:

He thought he got away with this one, but nope – one tweeter let him know we all saw:

Hmmm…whatever did or didn't happen, we thought he'd know better than to tweet about such a sensitive subject. If being accused of rape didn't hurt his reputation, these tweets ought to do the trick instead.

Clueless actress Stacey Dash is not too impressed by Kanye West’s recent comments about rape, comparing the intrusion of the paparazzi to the violation of rape.

And it looks as if it wasn’t just the general public that disagreed with his comments, but celebrities too!

The actress was speaking on Fox News Wednesday when she blasted the rapper’s misuse of the word rape: “For Kanye to say rape, maybe he needs to go spend some time on Rikers Island … Go to Rikers for a while and then he’ll know what rape is. I don’t get celebrities not understanding that the paparazzi are doing their job.”

Yikes! Fighting words, Stacey!

Kanye is not the first person to compare the paparazzi intrusion to rape, with Charlize causing a storm with similar comments recently.

Kanye West has compared having his photograph taken to rape.

Oh Kanye…

In a rant onstage this weekend, Kim Kardashian’s other half said,  “Everybody needs a day off, everybody needs the right to say ‘hey, you know what I need a minute to breathe.

“I want to bring my family to the movies without 30 motherf*****s following me. Everybody here, they like sex right? Sex is great when you and your partner be like ‘hey, this is what we both want to do.

“But if one of those people don’t want to do that, what does that constitute, that’s called rape. That is called violation.”

Within minutes, Kanye was blasted by fans, with one writing on Twitter, “Just stop. It is nothing like rape.”

Earlier this year actress Charlize Theron was slammed by rape charities after she compared press intrusion to sexual assault.

Maybe Kanye should have thought twice before he launched into this particular rant.
