Guys are fickle, strange creatures. Sometimes they come on too strong, and when you do, they run a mile. It makes no sense.

Here are 8 realistic reasons that guy hasn’t called you back.

1. You’re coming on too strong
There is absolutely nothing wrong with going for what you want with gusto. However, play it a little hard to get and make HIM do the chasing. Much more fun.

2. He doesn’t want to give a false impression
Although it’s a little childish, some guys won’t be texting back because they don’t want to give you the wrong impression that they want things to go any further. They might write back now and again to be polite, but if they aren’t replying as frequently as they should be then it might be time to move on.

3. Too many questions
Much like coming on too strong, asking too many questions can also scare a guy off. Guys are pretty simple creatures and can usually only deal with one thing at a time. So if lots of questions are coming in at once, especially if you’ve only recently met, chances are he’ll eventually just give up trying to answer them all and end up just not answering any.

4. He’s trying to play it cool
From the girl’s point of view, this looks pretty similar to when he doesn’t want to give you a false impression, so again the best way to get rid of any confusion is to just ask him. The only reason he’s doing this is to not come on too strong to you, which means that he likes you. So if you do ask him what the situation is, he’ll be honest and say that he is interested in you.

5. It’s too late at night
It may be something as simple as he is wrecked and just can’t fathom a text conversation right now. Don’t be offended.

6. You’re being too needy
If you’ve only recently met the guy, but you’ve already started getting emotional in your texts with him, he’s going to be turned off very quickly. Guys like to be needed and to look after girls, but not if they’ve only known them for a couple of weeks.

7. A genuine reason
Sometimes there actually is a genuine reason, like he doesn’t have any texts or data left to reply to you, or he’s at a football match or he’s with his friends. But the key thing to remember about this situation, even though you don’t know if it is a genuine reason, is to be patient. He will reply to you eventually when he does get a chance, and will apologise for the delay (if he’s a decent guy), so any extra texts you send can only harm your situation.

8. He’s just not that into you
This is the biggest fear when he’s not texting you back, especially if you really like him. But unfortunately this is the case sometimes, and it’s just important to remember to not get desperate, because you’re never going to change his mind like that, and to just try and move on.

Kanye West has confessed that he actually proposed to Kim Kardashian a whopping seven years ago!

While it’s no secret that Kanye had a mega crush on Kim for years, he has now revealed the true extent of his almost decade-long obsession with his wife.

Speaking to the crowd at the London’s Wireless Festival last night, Kanye told fans, “F**k saving face and what it’s supposed to mean, it’s about living my dream.”

“I told Kim seven years ago I would marry her and I made it happen. I just wanted to make something awesome and be awesome and change the world, and that’s exactly what I plan to do,” he added.

He must have known Kim’s marriage to Chris Humphries in 2011 wouldn’t last the distance then!

Relationships are never easy. And when your other half seems so terrified of commitment, it can be hard to see where things can ever go. Here are the signs he is a commitment-phobe and you have some serious decisions to make!

1. Never introduces you to his friends
Once he does this, it seems real. You become his official ‘girlfriend.’ If he doesn’t, it may be a sign he isn’t looking to get serious. Which is fine, unless you are.

2. Stands you up
He says he’ll meet you for lunch but something always comes up. He’s never apologetic about it either, it’s just something that happens.

3. Won’t make plans for the future
Now if you have been together for a few weeks, suggesting a year round trip around the world will signal alarm bells for any self respecting man. However if you have been dating for a few months, you might have finally cropped up the courage to suggest maybe, perhaps going to a concert in a weeks time. If he can’t even see where he’ll be in a week then you may have some issues.

4. You’re the needy one
When you ask can you spend some more time together he makes you feel like you’re being too clingy. He’ll give you some song and dance about being a lone wolf or that he’s kind of a loner at heart. Then he’ll probably say that he needs even more space. He leaves you feeling like an overly attached girlfriend, questioning your own sanity.

5. Empty compliments
When you’re alone together he compliments you all the time. You are the prettiest, sexiest, funniest thing he has ever seen. But when you’re in public, he doesn’t even salute your existence. If he does give you some sort of recognition, you giggle like a schoolgirl. Ugh, why?!

6. You find yourself trying to constantly please them
There comes a point when he no longer wants to try and even pretend he’s in a relationship. You make allowances because you think he’s just scared of how amazingly awesome your relationship is. Stop fooling yourself.

7. You should be honoured when they do show up
When he does decide to show his face, he arrives with a sense that you should be honoured by his lateness. If it doesn’t work for Kanye, it certainly isn’t going to work for you, dearest.

8. Doesn’t make any effort
You are still kind of on eggshells when you’re meeting up. You still shave above the knee and you make sure you smell of roses and feel as smooth and as soft as a babies bottom. He is a different story. He will show up looking like a prepubescent skater boy and he’ll probably smell like one too. When he does show up looking like Channing Tatum’s less attractive cousin, it can be easily seen that it’s not for you.

9. Doesn’t stay the night
It doesn’t matter what excuse he uses, this is a clear warning sign that he doesn’t want things to get too serious. If he does stay the night but leaves in the wee hours, it is not because he doesn’t want to miss the sunrise. If he always has plans in the morning so he can’t hang around then it’s time to re-evaluate who you’re having sleep overs with. Who goes to nine o’clock lectures anyway?

That’s right, their relationship which played out on The Hills was all fictional.

Brody made the revelation on his weekly podcast, saying: “[Lauren and I] worked together on a show called The Hills where we had to pretend we were dating but we never dated.”

Ok, we knew that some of The Hills was scripted but THIS?!

Will Speidi announce that their marriage is a sham next? We just don’t know what to believe anymore.

A study of how much Twitter affects your relationship has been conducted, and the results aren’t good – but don’t run off and delete your account just yet.

Russell Clayton surveyed 386 Twitter users who were in relationships, asking them about how often they use the site and how often they had Twitter-related problems in their relationship. This was defined as arguments due to spending too much time on Twitter or looking at friends’ Twitter profiles. They were also asked about whether any Twitter-related problems resulted in a break-up or divorce.

The results weren’t surprising: heavy use of Twitter was related to Twitter-related conflict and relationship difficulties. Relationship problems were also especially likely to result from excessive Twitter use for couples who had a lot of Twitter-related conflict.

We can’t help but think that Clayton didn’t really need to do a survey to figure this out – it’s all pretty obvious stuff.

However, it’s important to remember that couples who break up over Twitter-related conflict most likely had other problems to begin with, and that’s why one half of the couple got so attached to Twitter, or Facebook, or any of the various social media platforms. So if you’re happy in your relationship, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about!

1. Valentine’s Day

That is just cruel.

2. Birthdays

You simply cannot ruin someone’s special day by dumping them on their birthday.

3. Your anniversary

Especially if they have something elaborate planned. Power through.

4. Any time over the Christmas period

Christmas is for happiness only. You will forever be known as the Grinch who stole their hearts AND their Christmas.

5. When you’re intoxicated

You may not mean it. Wait until the morning after at least.

6. At a wedding

Especially if it is YOUR wedding.

7. On holidays

Do you really want to be stuck on a desert island with them for the rest of the trip?

8. In front of friends

Never be that person.

9. In their family home

So, so awkward.

10. In the cinema

You’re in a dark, lonely cinema and the trailers are still on…find another time.

What not to say to someone who just got dumped

We all want to be there for our friends, but there are just some things you don’t say to your friends, especially if they’ve just been dumped. Here is what not to say to someone who’s just been dumped:

You’ll get over it
Harsh. Yes, they will eventually move on, but that’s not what they want to hear so soon after being dumped.

You’re better off without him
Although that might be true, and your only trying to help by saying this – stating this fact will not make their heartache any easier.

But he seemed so nice!
It’s probably best to take your friend’s judgement on her boyfriend, considering she knew him better and spent more time with him.

Maybe he’ll come back to you
Even though this may be a last result to reassure your upset friend, it’s best not to encourage ideas that may not become a reality.

Plenty more fish in the sea!
A cliché and probably one we’re all sick of hearing. Even though a new man might cheer her up initially it might be a good idea for your friend to be on their own for a little while.

It has been reported that her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, is refusing to sign divorce papers as he isn’t done fighting to win her back!

Life and Style have reported that a source said the basketball player feels he is in a place now where that may be possible: “He’s sober and back on track now – and thinks he can get her back.”

Unfortunately for Lamar, it looks as if Khloé has well and truly moved on as she has been seen on numerous occasions with rapper, French Montana.

We still love these two together, although it looks as if Lamar put Khloé through a hard time and perhaps it is, in fact, over forever.

It looks like it’s all over for Christina Milian and her fiancé, Jas Prince.

US Weekly have reported that the relationship was ended last month and that the singer moved her stuff out of the family home yesterday.

Christina and Jas began dating in 2010 and got engaged in April of last year, when she was seen with a massive (and beautiful) diamond ring.

The AM to PM singer has an adorable four-year-old daughter, Violet, with her former partner The-Dream.

Sad news for Christina and her family, break-ups are never easy.

9 things NOT to do on a first Tinder date

Tinder dates can be really nerve racking. So let’s not make it worse by doing the following:

1. Sex as a topic of conversation
Starting a conversation about sex with someone you’ve just met is not an okay thing to do.

2. Bad manners
Remember what your mother taught you: don’t open your mouth while chewing, don’t burp at the dinner table or use your index finger to pick rice out of your molars! Manners tell a lot about a person and give great insight into their personality. Be on your best behaviour.

3. Make SURE you’ve got the right guy!
Before you go on that Tinder date, make sure you know which guy it is you are asking out. Study each photo carefully before making your decision, and if you’re still not sure – just ask! It’ll save yourself an awkward moment when the wrong guy turns up. Yikes!

4. Being on your phone
There’s nothing more mind-numbingly irritating than being out with someone, either a date or a friend, and they’re constantly texting on their phone. You can’t put it away for 20 minutes?!

5. Having one drink too many
Don’t get drunk on the first date! Your filter will break down, so too will your defences and it’ll usually lead to something that you didn’t want to happen. You’ll say something you didn’t want to say, behave in a way that you wouldn’t usually and do something (someone) that you wouldn’t normally do. Have a drink by all means, but don’t go over your limit.

6. Meeting for dinner
Dinner is a big commitment for a first date with a stranger. You can’t predict how it will go, so if you want a get-out clause in case it’s incredibly awkward, start with something casual like a drink or coffee.

7. Splitting the bill
Don’t be an amateur. When the time comes to split the bill for coffee/lunch/dinner, offer to split. He’s not made of money and it will make you seem generous (which you are, this time)

8. Making TOO much eye contact
This is a key element of all first dates. You have to make the appropriate amount of eye contact. You don’t want to creep him out but you also don’t want to seem disinterested.

According to Jack Antonoff, the two are older now and things are getting very serious indeed: “It just seems like the most fun thing in the world. I’ve never met people who have kids who haven’t looked me in the eye and been like ‘It’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened.”‘

The Fun guitarist also appears to have a grown-up approach to life, saying: “I think it’s biological. I’m 30. I’m not that young, right? I’m not like, 24, or 22. I’m no longer in the phase of my life when I talk about everything in the future. I’m in the future.”

Aww, how sweet would these two be with a little baby?

We wonder if they would write a pregnancy into Girls?! Somehow we can’t imagine Hannah with a baby!
