Since the advent of social media, the internet has been awash with people naming and shaming each other.

Tagging mates in compromising positions and sharing snaps of someone else's fail have been part and parcel of social media since we first heard the term BeboStunnah.

But knowing where to draw the line is, and will continue to be, a contentious issue among social media users.

Dividing Facebook users yesterday, Stevie Wilcock made the decision to share the description of a random woman he assumed was cheating on her partner.

Without knowing the context of the conversation he overheard, Stevie came to the conclusion that a woman he encountered in a coffee shop was cheating on her partner, and decided to raise the alarm on social media (As you do.)

Offering a description of the woman – he estimated her age and described what she was wearing – he then went on to reveal her location and her car registration number in a supposed effort to alert her partner to her assumed infidelity.

While some social media users praised Stevie's supposed detective work and immediately cast aspersions on the woman in question, others were understandably irate that a stranger would jump to conclusions and go on to share someone's personal details in a public post.

"This is terrible, there but for the grace of god for goodness sake, not knowing the facts this unfeeling person could be causing so much damage I despair of the human race," wrote one.

"She's in a petrol station talking to someone and….? Telling them a story??! Big deal," wrote another. "Be careful what conclusions you jump to you could be wrecking someone's life for no reason at all! Numpty."

"Chinese whispers spring to mind. U should get the facts straight before uploading private information on her car and her life all over FB – u have no idea of the story behind that woman," slammed yet another stunned Facebook user.

"In all honesty there could be 100 different reasons whilst she's there. Doesn't mean she's a cheat," she added.

Sorry Stevie, but we're with them on this one.

If there's anything more irritating than someone taking your food after they said they didn't want any, we have yet to experience it.

And while the rest of the internet is currently lolling all over this girl's reaction to her boyfriend nabbing a bit of her pizza, we're with her on this one.

Having sat down to a slice in Pizza Boli's in Maryland, De'ja Davis was riled to the max when her boyfriend of two years, Dee Breezy, decided to get a little handsy with her lunch.

In a rant that can only be described as epic, De'ja schools her fella on the rules when it comes to other people's food.

"I shared my chicken with you. Not my pizza, she said. "I offered to get you something! It's MY pizza! Take this. I'll get another pizza."

And in one seriously ill-advised move, Dee went and shared his girl's hangry rant on Twitter, but Deja wasn't taking it lying down.

Responding to the footage he shared of her mini meltdown, Deja did what any self-respecting girlfriend would do – she laid it out in black and white, explaining exactly why her BF was out of line.

"Let me just say this…It wasn't about me not sharing because I always give you stuff," she began. "I just got that pizza and if you wanted just a little piece of it I could've gotten you your own."

"You plotted on getting my food when you knew I was hungry," she accused. "Let's go back to when I said I wanted carry out and you recommended pizza bolis so you knew what you were gonna do before we ever got there."

"All I'm asking is that next time you just be honest and say 'De'ja. I am starving like a homeless pig, can you spare me a slice," she pleaded.

"Now people think I'm all crazy when I'm not, I'm just really serious about my food."

De'ja, we got you.

Look, we're going to be honest here – very few of us shave our legs for the good of our health.

We generally pick up a razor when we think we're a day away from having people barf into a hedge over the sight of our hairy ankles, and we generally only grab a loofah and exfoliate like there's no tomorrow when it looks like the no-pants-dance might be on the horizon.

And it looks like we're not the only ones who operate in this manner if a recent (and absolutely hilarious) Imgur upload is anything to go by.

After spending time prepping for the arrival of her other half, this girl was NOT impressed by the curt message she received that informed her she had basically shaved, exfoliated and moisturised for NO DAMN REASON.

Sending a series of post-shower selfies to her 'babe', this girl spoke for all womankind when she wrote: "So, you're telling me that I shaved, exfoliated and moisturized for nothing."

And in a act of sisterhood for which we should all be thankful, she entitled her upload: "PSA: Please give an hour's warning, minimum."

Lads, you've been warned.

PSA: Please give an hours warning, minimum.

Stories featured in Humans of Dublin have hit the headlines on numerous occasions for their ability to bring the internet to tears, and this latest one is no different.

Shared on the Humans of Dublin Facebook page last night, internet users were given an insight into the love story that unfolded between a dancer and her late husband over the course of 57 years.

"I started dancing when I was about 10-years-old. I met beautiful people throughout my whole life because of it. I did Irish dancing and afterwards moved up to the ballroom, we did all sorts of dance," Clare told photographer Peter Varga.

"This is how I met this lovely man too," she continued. "He was so handsome, you know? I was walking in Herbert Park with two girls when I saw him again, he was with his two friends."

"They said they were going to the Ritz that night and asked if we wanted to join them," she recalled. "I will always remember that film, The Desperados. We nearly weren't let in because we were so young. We all had to stand up, as if in high heels, just to get in."

Just 16 when she met him, she revealed: "I never had anyone else, before him or after. That is how we spent 57 years dancing together. He was a lovely and handsome man, you know?"

Peter then captured the moment his subject proudly clutched a photo of herself and her husband, and the internet is in bits this morning after it.

Commenting on the latest post, one Facebook user wrote: "Thank you for sharing your story. I love the photo of the two of you and I'm so glad your "night at the Ritz" lasted for 57 years."

"My parents met on a blind date to go to a dance on Halloween in 1957," wrote another follower of the page. "They got engaged that Christmas and were married the day after Valentine's Day in 1958"

"They were together a week shy of 50 years when my dad passed away. Sometimes those random chance encounters lead people to the person they're supposed to be with. Here's to a lifetime full of love!"

Aw ladies, it's too early for this!

The Humans of Dublin #TakeACloserLook collection is in connection with Vodafone, and snaps of Clare were captured on the Vodafone Smart Platinum 7.

Some of us put a lot of effort into creating the perfect environment for the no-pants-dance and others are total wham, bam, thank you ma'am merchants who wouldn't know a scented candle or John Legend track if it bit them on the arse.

If you're the latter and hoping to inject a little romance into your sex life, you might want to take a leaf out of John Mayer and Khloé Kardashian's books who swear by a solid sex playlist.

After hearing that the youngest Kardashian sister likes to get her grind on to John's cover of Beyoncé's XO, the 38-year-old singer decided to add to the conversation by offering some handy hints and tips when choosing a playlist for the bedroom.

Appearing last night on What What Happens Live, John reminded us that our partners need to really consider the length of their playlist…for obvious reasons.

"I think if you're a guy at least, and you have a playlist, it should be a really long playlist," he told host Andy Cohen after insisting he was flattered that Khloé included his cover in her bedside collection.

"If you're shuffling and the song comes up twice, you wanna make sure you get through a good portion of the songs," he advised.

Sage advice John, sage advice.

Whiling away a boring Tuesday evening on Tinder has become part and parcel of our generation's down-time, and while we hope a bad date is the worst that will come of it, unfortunately that couldn't be further from the truth.

Swiping right and hooking up might be the start of a modern-day fairytale, but it can also lead to some serious implications for your reproductive and general health.

According to a statement released by the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, syphilis is on the rise in recent years going from 6,000 in the US at the start of the millennium to a whopping 20,000 just last year.

Having researched the rising numbers associated with the sexually transmitted disease, the Rhode Island Department of Health came to the conclusion that our habit of swiping right may play a bigger part in the worrying pattern than many of us realise.

Commenting on the increase in both gonorrhea and syphilis, officials deduced that "high-risk behaviours,  including using social media to arrange casual and often anonymous sexual encounters” may be responsible for the recent statistics.

And while many STDs are curable with the right medication, these statistics are definitely something to think about the next time…

Taylor Swift has never shied away from acknowledging that her turbulent love life is prime fodder for chat show hosts and stand-up comedians who appear fascinated by the fact the 26-year-old has – shock, horror – yet to settle down, get married and start a family.

And while the 'Taylor – Serial Dater' jokes fell by the wayside while she was dating Calvin Harris, it looks like they've come back ten-fold since she began getting cosy with Tom Hiddleston, and it doesn't look like U.S chat show host Wendy Williams is overly impressed.

Commenting on the unlikely new union, Wendy suggested that Taylor should be less open about her new relationship, beginning: "Apparently, they're getting serious."

"I know, it's only been three weeks. She's 26 – that's old enough to understand, like, you don't show your feelings on your sleeve in three weeks, you know," she added.

While we all know Tay's ex, Calvin, was less than impressed that the Bad Blood singer had already met Tom's mum when she reportedly refused to meet his, Wendy was more concerned that Taylor had introduced Tom to her own parents.

Suggesting that she'd send her parents into overdrive with the implications of her new romance, Wendy continued: "This is not good. First of all, you don't want your parents counting your number."

"And honey child … what you don't understand, whether you're a man or a woman – every time you bring someone home – your parents are like, 'That's number three," she opined while her audience laughed at the notion that Taylor had hired paps to take snaps of herself and Tom kissing at her home in Rhode Island.

And Taylor wasn't the only one in Wendy's firing line, with the popular host calling 35-year-old Tom 'opportunistic' for getting into a relationship with Taylor.

Jeez Wendy, how dya really feel?!

For most of us, break-ups and Adele albums go hand-in-hand, but what does the queen of splitsville soundtracks listen to when she herself is going through a break-up?

While we'd like to imagine her tearfully wailing Someone Like You while trawling through his Facebook page, the singer (obvs) steers clear of her own back catalogue.

Speaking to People magazine about her own personal process, the 28-year-old Londoner – who is currently in a happy relationship with the father of her child – said: "I mope around for a little while. I do embrace the fact that I'm heartbroken. I don't move quickly,"

Adele explained that she relies on Bonnie Raitt's Can't Make You Love Me, Mumford and Sons' After the Storm, David Gray's This Year's Love and Katy Perry's Not Like The Movies to navigate those tricky weeks and months post-break up.

And while the rest of us make bad decisions regarding alcohol, ice cream and other men in the aftermath, Adele can generally make a positive from a negative during this time. (Hello, multiple Grammy awards)

Commenting on this talent, the When We Were Young singer simply said: "I don't know if that's because it seems that I'm only really creative when I'm a bit momentarily depressed."

All we get out of a break-up is a hatred for certain restaurants and an attachment to a football team we thought we despised.

We're absolute suckers for a sweet proposal here at SHEmazing! HQ, so it's no surprise we're ALL over the latest one to take the internet by storm.

Taking place during London's Pride Parade on Saturday afternoon, an officer from the Metropolitan Police took a moment to get down on one knee, and pop one very important question.

In front of proud colleagues and delighted revellers, the police officer made his way over to his boyfriend, Jonathan Sammons, who was watching proceedings from behind a row of barriers.

Stunned by the surprise proposal – to which he said a massive yes – Jonathan later told clamouring press that he was totally overwhelmed, gushing: "Amazing! Oh my God, I can't believe he did it."

While Jonathan's fiancé had been planning to pop the question for some time, the idea of doing it during London Pride was a relatively new one, saying: "It's been planned for a while but not like this."

Well, we thank you for taking this route – you guys made our weekend!

Forget scented candles, sexy lingerie and Barry White's back catalogue because when it comes to the no-pants-dance, it sounds like most of us have been going about it the wrong way – not literally, but you know what we mean.

According to sexperts at the University of Utah, couples who rolls up their sleeves and don the Marigolds together have a better sex life than the rest of us who spend hours perfecting the classic yawn and stretch on Date Night.

It seems a division of labour when it comes to household chores is the perfect aphrodisiac, with research showing that couples who share chores have sex, on average, 6.8 times a month in comparison to five times a month for couples who don't.

"Contemporary couples who adhere to a more egalitarian division of labor are the only couples who have experienced an increase in sexual frequency compared to their counterparts of the past," Cornell University's Sharon Sassler said.

Commenting on the study's findings, she continued: "Other groups – including those where the woman does the bulk of the housework – have experienced declines in sexual frequency."

"This finding is particularly notable given reports indicating that sexual frequency has generally declined worldwide over the past few decades," she added.

Now, this is research we can definitely get on board with.

If Disney movies have taught us anything, it's that a relationship with a handsome prince is something every girl should aspire towards, but it seems reality is very, very different.

Opening up about the seven-year relationship she shared with Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy admits that she found it incredibly difficult to deal with the media intrusion and paparazzi attention that went hand-in-hand with a royal romance.

"I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible," she told The Times during an interview which dealt with her time in the spotlight and the effect her 'party girl' rep had on her.

30-year-old Chelsy, who qualified as a solicitor and currently promotes an ethical jewellery brand, admitted that the romance was far from the fairytale many of us would imagine.

Reflecting on the times she was chased by photographers desperate for a snap of the young couple, Chelsy said: "It was so full-on: crazy and scary and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn't cope."

Chelsy, who met Prince Harry in 2004, eventually called time on the relationship in 2011 before returning to her native Zimbabwe, saying: "It was nuts. That's also why I wanted to go back to Africa. Now it's calm, it's fine."

Despite rumours that the pair may be reconciling, Chelsy insists she and Harry are simply on good terms and says she'll always 'be good friends' with the royal.

Now, we all know that no matter what, all proposals are special and unique in their own way – but you need to see what this guy got up to.

Advertising agent Jason Shoffman really went out of his way to surprise his bride-to-be recently.

His girlfriend, Simone, is a major Disney fan and in Jason's Youtube video, he explains that whenever she's sad she'll watch a Disney to cheer herself up.

Well, one day Jason decided to bring his girlfriend to a Disney art exhibition, yet what she didn't know was that it turned out to be an exhibition of their life together.

Taking inspiration from different movies, Jason depicted different moments of their time together and made them into cartoon version.

He was even super careful and put dates on each picture, as if they were a movie poster.

The prints were full of personal detail, and instead of writing Walt Disney on the top, he combined both of their last names and wrote, "Goffy," instead.

We really can't get enough of this.
