*Disclaimer: Mild spoilers ahead*

Based on true events, and portrayed by the actual people that lived them, Clint Eastwood's latest cinematic release, The 15:17 to Paris, tells the the terrifying story of three American backpackers who, with the help of other passengers, stopped a terrorist in his tracks.

Determined to find his purpose in life, the film follows the story of Spencer Stone, who along with his two best friends, Anthony Sadler and Alek Skarlatos, mature from trouble-making school boys to courageous young soldiers.

What is, on paper, a hugely dramatic and inspiring story – the film unfortunately fails to capitalise on the rich plot right from the get-go.

The first half of the feature is largely based around the boy's developing friendship and childhood obsession with the military, and while a little bit of background is always necessary to set the scene, as a viewer I couldn't help but feel my attention start to drift slightly after the first 40 minutes.

However, I was quickly reeled back in as the story jumped a number of years, with the now young adults, facing a cross-roads in their lives.

At this stage, the three real-life heroes settle into their debut acting roles, and while there are moments when their inexperience shines through, it is that blatant authenticity that helps to lift the film to new levels.

As life takes them in different directions, the friends deicide to reunite for a backpacking trip across Europe.

After drinking, partying and sight-seeing their way across Italy and Germany, the young men plan to finish the trip in Paris and board a high-speed train departing form Berlin's Central Station.

Without giving too much away, this is the moment the entire plot has been building up to.

Faced with a dramatic and frightening series of events, the young backpackers must, without thought or hesitation, put their lives at risk to save some 500 passengers on board.

Despite a disappointing first half, The 15:17 to Paris manages to pick itself up in the nick of time.

Honest, emotional and completely enthralling in moments, Clint Eastwood proves he's still got something left to give with this latest release.

Drivers heading toward Boa Island, on the north short of Fermanagh's Lough Erne, are greeted by a huge expanse of tranquil water.

If you're en route to Lusty Beg, the only way across the lake is by a short ferry ride – your first introduction to the peaceful haven that is this five-star hotel and spa.

On arrival to the hotel for our weekend stay, we were greeted by the lovely Mary and Mark, who managed our trip to perfection. From our check-in and welcome drink to our final wave goodbye, there was service with a smile.

The first thing you'll notice when arriving to Lusty Beg is the incredible surroundings. The view on the island is absolutely breathtaking, and you will see yourself staring out into the distance for ages – even if you're not a nature-lover.

We were welcomed into a beautiful cabin which boasted French doors looking out onto the lake. Cabins are equipped with a very modern kitchen (if you fancy going self-service), a faux-fur lined bedroom and a huge bathroom. Each cabin also has a walk-in shower and a massive bath to choose from.

A little exploration in the form of a nature walk brought us around the island and over a (very cute) bridge. We looked out for squirrels but then it hit us – they hate the cold and are probably all wrapped up in their tree trunks. But, the extensive views across the island made up for not seeing any squirrels.

After a shower and a rest, it was time for the best part of the evening – the food.

Our chef at the hotel's Island Restaurant served up wild mushrooms with sourdough toast and grilled chicken Caesar salad for starters.

For the main we dug into hake with chorizo and winter cabbage, plus a sirloin steak with chips, onion rings and pepper sauce. All delicious, and beautifully presented.

If dessert's your thing, we insist you try the restaurant's signature Malteser Meringue, covered with ice cream, caramel sauce and mini marshmallows. YUM.

After dinner it was onto the hotel bar, which boasts a huge open fire, meaning we had to stay for an extra drink or three.

Staff at Lusty Beg are not only super-friendly, but they all have an extensive knowledge of the island, and can tell you things about it dating back to the Ice Age.

After a dreamy sleep in our cabin and brekkie of eggs, bacon and coffee, it was time to check out Lusty Beg's real selling point – The Island Spa.

After reading up on the choice of facials, scrubs and massages on offer, we opted for the Voyager Total Massage Journey, a 90-minute top-to-toe treatment that incorporates body brushing, body massage and scalp massage.

Organic seaweed oil is used to condition skin and soothe aches and pains, so we practically floated out of the place.

If dinner, drinks and massages aren't your thing (who are you?!) then there are plenty of other activities to avail of on the island, including archery, clay pigeon shooting, canoeing, tennis, football and more.

From Dublin to Fermanagh, the total time was two hours and ten minutes, so if you want a little bit of relaxation and fun two hours from Dublin, this is definitely the place to go.

The worst wedding guest EVER in the history of time has been found and her name is Juli "Bun Bun."

She is a beauty blogger from Singapore and recently attended a wedding of a friend of her husband, and WOW, did she make her true feelings known.

Using the phone app Dayre, Bun Bun ripped into and mocked everything from the bride’s dress to the bridal car.

"I don't know the bride at all nor am I close to the groom," Bun Bun wrote. "But I'm worried sick about how the day's events are unravelling by the bit."

She said in the review that she wasn't worried about the couple reading her rant because she didn't reveal their identities and they don't use the app so she didn't think anyone would see it. (I guess this is her first day using the Internet, then?)

In the awful review, she mocked the bride and her gown and also said that people were looking at her instead of the bride. Burn!

"The bride was struggling with her gown the whole time," she wrote. "She's short like me, but was drowning in her gown.”

Bun Bun quickly realised her error though and pulled down the original post.

"On second thoughts I have decided to take down this post, just in case, I don't want people taking my words out of context."

Well, we’d say that was the last wedding she was ever invited to.

We're all for kicking Sundays off with a whopper fry-up, but if you're trying to eat clean over the summer months, we may have found the perfect alternative.

Salad for brunch might not sound all that appealing when what you really want is bacon and eggs, but trust us on this one. Last weekend SHEmazing! checked out the brand new brunch menu at Dublin's Dylan Hotel, and we've already got it pencilled in again for our next post-workout brekkie.

As well as some seriously indulgent treats like the beef, black bean and chorizo burrito (which we drooled over as it sailed past us to the table next door), the spicy eggs Flamenco with black pudding and tomato concasée and of course the pancake snack with seasonal berries, there are some equally tasty lighter options too.

We opted for two salads, the signature Superfood salad with quinoa, pomegranate, avocado, citrus, pumpkin seeds and mustard dressing and the goat’s cheese salad served with tomato, beetroot, melon and smoked almonds. And once they arrived, we forgot all about that burrito:

It wasn't all about #eatingclean though, as the Dylan also offers a pretty irresistible cocktail menu.

As well as jugs of Sangria, Royaltea and Pimm's, there's a whole menu of single serve classics like the Margarita and Bellini we went for:

Perfection.

Brunch is served at the Dylan every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from 11am to 4pm. More information and a full menu can be found here.

We asked one of our followers Julie Nolan from Cork to try out the new Vichy Dermablend range, and we're glad to report that she is a fan! Check out her review below:

“I have been using the Vichy Dermablend products non-stop since I got them! I especially love the Total Body Foundation. I use it on my face as it is too dark for my body, but it's a great product. I love the finish and I don't even check my face throughout the day as I am 100% confident that it will not need topping up. It covers everything without looking like a mask, and the redness in my cheeks and nose is completely covered.

I love the Corrective Face Foundation for a slightly lighter coverage. The coverage is still great just with a lighter finish and a dewier feeling.

All in all, I am delighted with these products, I enjoy using them and would be more than happy to recommend and use these products over and over.”
