Just weeks after revealing that they were headed for divorce, it has emerged that actress Pamela Anderson has taken out a restraining order against estranged husband Rick Salomon.

According to a report by entertainment website TMZ this weekend, the former Baywatch star is claiming in court documents that Salomon tried to smother and strangle her during sex.

The official court report states that Salomon grew violent towards his 47-year-old wife after flying into a rage, and he proceeded to push a pillow over her face.

Anderson also claims that Salomon, a professional poker player, used to call her names including ‘slut’ and ‘crack whore’, after losing games.

The mother-of-two filed the petition for the restraining order this week, with the court granting it, just a month after reports of the couple’s planned divorce emerged.

Anderson and Salomon have not had the most straightforward romance. The couple exchanged vows back in 2007, but had the marriage annulled just two months later. They decided last year to give the relationship another shot, going on to remarry, but announcing their divorce just six months after.

Unfortunately, it sounds as though this split was far from amicable.

Now, it seems the couple have reunited (again) and filed for divorce (yet again!). Talk about not knowing what you want!

Just two weeks after last year's split, the couple were spotted kissing in Malibu, California, and have been seen in public together since. However according to court documents obtained by TMZ, Pamela made the decision to split from her husband/ex/husband/ex again last Tuesday.

Aside from her marriages to Rick, Pamela has had two other husbands. musician Tommy Lee who she was married to for three years from 1995 – 1998 and Kid Rock, who she was with from 2003 – 2006.

Aside from his on-again-off-again relationship to Pamela, Rick is also well known for being the co-star in Paris Hilton's sex tape, One Night in Paris. He sounds like a classy guy, for sure!

Rick too has had a string of other marriages, to both 90210 actress Shannen Doherty and Rugrats voice star Elizabeth Daily. How do they keep track of all their exes?!

We hope that Pamela can move on for good this time around – it sounds like it's needed.
