While we loved the 2001 heist film Ocean's Eleven, there was a little something missing from it: an all-female cast of our favourite actresses.

Ocean's 8 is set to remedy that, and we are absolutely buzzing with excitement.

This film follows Danny's sister, Debbie Ocean (the inimitable Sandra Bullock), as she plans to steal $150 million in diamonds, right off an actress' neck at the Met Gala.

She's joined by a top-notch team on this action adventure: her right-hand woman Lou Miller (Cate Blanchett), jeweler Amita (Mindy Kaling), street con Constance (rapper and actress Awkwafina), hacker Nine Ball (Rihanna), fashion designer Rose (Helena Bonham Carter), and fence Tammy (Sarah Paulson). 

The gems they're stealing will be worn by actress Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway), and the plan will have to go off without a hitch if they're going to get away with it.

Needless to say, we can't wait for this film to come out!

We'll have to wait a bit longer to get our heist film fix, as Ocean's 8 will be in cinemas on June 22.

Rihanna has called out social media platform Snapchat after the company ran an ad featuring the star that was in decidedly bad taste.

The animation featured a picture of Rihanna and Chris Brown, and asked users to vote which one they would rather 'slap' or 'punch.' 

The ads calls to memory the incident in 2009, when Rihanna pressed charges against Chris Brown for assault. 

Taking to Instagram stories, she said: 'Now Snapchat, I know you already know you ain’t my fav app out there!'

'But I’m just trying to figure out what the point was with this mess. I’d love to call it ignorance but I know you ain’t that dumb!'

You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to DV victims and made a joke of it!!!'

'This isn't about my personal feelings, cause I don't have much of them…but all the women, children and men that have been victims of DV in the past and especially the ones who haven't made it out yet…you let us down!'

The app responded to the criticism in a statement, according to The Verge: 'This advertisement is disgusting and never should have appeared on our service.'

'We are so sorry we made the terrible mistake of allowing it through our review process. We are investigating how that happened so that we can make sure it never happens again.' 

Following the backlash, Snapchat stock fell by 5pc, in a similar manner as to when Kylie Jenner recently posted a negative tweet about the app.

Following the release of her hugely successful Fenty Beauty range, Rihanna is now lending her talents to the world of fashion.

In her latest quest for world domination, the star has reportedly signed a deal with TechStyle Fashion Group to launch her own collection of designer undergarments.

The full details of RiRi's new business venture have not yet been revealed, however a source told WWD that the project has been in the pipeline for over a year, and designs sample have already been produced.

It seems like he next logical step for the star who has recently managed to carve quite an impressive career for herself outside the music industry.

The rumoured project is also in keeping with TechStyle's celebrity track record, having previously worked with the likes of Kate Hidson and Demi Lovato.

Rihanna's reps are yet to comment on the reports, and the whole thing is basically still in the speculation stage, but of course that hasn't stopped fans from jumping the gun and offering up their life savings.

Some creative fans have suggested the Rihanna name the line 'Fenty Booty', and honestly, we're on board.

Back in the day, NBA All-Star Joel Embiid decided to chance his arm and ask the icon that is Rihanna out on a date via Twitter 

However, at the time Embiid did not have his All-Star title, a fact Riri took issue with. 

'Come back to me when you’re an All-Star,' she responded, in a pretty sassy rejection.

Now, the 7'2 basketball player has achieved All-Star status, and after his first All-Star game, he was asked by a reporter if he would be trying his luck with the pop songstress once again. 

'She denied me back then, so why go with her again?' replied Embiid.

'So I have to pass that and move on to the next one.'

Yikes, talk about holding on to a grudge. 

However, it is true that if Riri was interested, she should have given him a chance during his pre-All Star days, but we're sure she isn't lacking in potential dates to be honest.

Superstar Rihanna has called an end to gun violence after suffering a tragic familial loss. 

The singer-turned-makeup-mogul celebrated the festive period with her extended family, including her cousin, who was named as Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne by news outlets.

The young man was the victim of a shooting in the family's native Barbados.

Rihanna also shared a video of the 21-year-old, which showed him enjoying a walk with family. 

The young man was reportedly going to visit his girlfriend when the shooting happened.

So, at this stage we have all seen that picture of Rihanna looking sexy AF in her festival outfit, posing up a storm and working her angles. 

Wearing a teal wig, diamond bra, and a plethora of feathers, Queen Ri has frankly never looked better.

The picture could be deemed by some to be unflattering, but this is Rihanna we're talking about, she always slays. 

The snap was uploaded in a side-by-side with the image Rihanna shared to her own Instagram, with a tweet reading 'Rihanna played us.'

Okay, so we all know our best poses, and not everyone looks fab when caught off guard and poorly angled (the unexpected opening of the selfie cam anyone?), but Rihanna was being body shamed by this Twitter user, as he insinuated that Rihanna was attempting to trick people into thinking she was hot by uploading a flattering picture of herself. 

Twitter was having absolutely none of his body shaming nonsense, and took to the response section in their droves to defend the singer.

We're sure that by now, everyone has seen those amazing photos of Rihanna that she uploaded to her Instagram. 

Dressed in a blue wig and bejewelled bikini with a halo of feathers behind her, Riri rocked the sexy look. Casual.

Chris Brown, who assaulted Rihanna back in 2009 while they were in a relationship, decided to comment on the image. 

He commented a single emoji, which has been described as 'oogling eyes.'

Does he actually mind. 

Fans retaliated in a big way, completely slamming the rapper for his comment, which many deemed to be 'disrespectful' considering their history.

Rihanna's makeup line has been hotly anticipated for months now, as Riri fans and beauty lovers alike have clamoured for more information of the collection.

Rumours have been flying, but we finally have a launch date for the collection. 

Fenty Beauty will land in Sephora, Harvey Nichols, and from FentyBeauty.com on September 8, 2017.

Back in August 2015, Rihanna told Refinery 29 that she had always wanted to launch a beauty collection, but was waiting for the right moment when she had the time to commit to the project. 

'It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do, but I’ve always had so much on my hands,' she said.

'But, this time, I’m going to make sure it happens. I’m going to find some time between albums and fragrance to do that. I promise.”'

Fashion and beauty mega-corp LVMH confirmed that they had struck a deal with Queen R last year, and the rest is history. 

There are no specific details on what the collection will include, but Rihanna has been tagging her Fenty Beauty social media pages in her recent red carpet posts, insinuating that she has been using the products herself ahead of the launch. 

As she has been looking more than flawless, we're dying to know what she's been using.

Over the years, Rihanna has proved that her talents are not confined to her musical career.

From her debut role in the 2012 film Battleship to her recent cameo in Bates Motel, the 29-year-old has proved that she is just as capable on a movie set as she is on a live stage.

And it look like 2018 is set to be a big year for Rihanna's acting career with the release of Luc Besson's latest film, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.

On Sunday, the singer showed off a jet black pixie crop in a behind-the-scenes video in which she reveals how 'blessed' she feels to be part of the project.

The short clip shows RiRi's character, Bubble, a shape-shifting alien entertainer, in various costumes including a Chicago-inspired cabaret outfit.

Luc Besson, the film's director, described the singer as “super sweet” and “obviously not scared of the camera.”

And that's not the only praise the songstress has received.

In a recent interview with Glamour magazine, former model and Valerian co-star, Cara Delevigne spoke of how Ri was hilarious to work with.

“There was a moment where Luc was trying to make her cry, to be emotional,” she said.

“He was like, "Imagine that you get told that your song hasn't gone to number one and your performance is really bad". I knew she wasn't going to give a sh*t — that's not the way to get into her emotion. And she literally said, "You're kidding me? I couldn't care less." That was funny.”

While we do love a good RiRi tune or two, it looks like the Work singer is fully committed to her acting role for the time being.

Speaking in the video she said, “He's creating this incredible world. When I saw my name on the poster for Valerian, it got real. I'm so blessed to be having this experience.”

Platinum selling singer Rihanna is being sued in the Dublin High Court next week. 

The Barbados-born mega babe is to be sued 'for damages and loss of earnings' by the wife of her former bodyguard.

Dana Kavanagh is taking her case to court after her husband headed up the singer's security team during her Diamonds World Tour in 2013.

Geoff Keating, Dana's partner is from Finglas, North Dublin, and previously brought a different case against the singer in 2015, according to The Mirror. 

'You wouldn't believe half of it, unless I showed you,' he told The Mirror. 

'It’s crazy stuff. She was like part of the family.'

The case will be presented in the High Court in Dublin on Monday.

So, when going through break-ups, people often turn to their favourite songs for some wise words of encouragement.

But, what if we could here those words directly from our favourite artists' mouth?

Wouldn't that be a million times better?

Well, one lucky Twitter user knows the answer.

Rhianna fan, @WaladShami posted a conversation between him and the songstress, in which she offered some pretty sound break-up advice.

He asked, via direct message, "How did you get over your first heartbreak? I've been struggling."

To which Rihanna replied, “Just believe that the heartbreak was a gift in itself!”

“Cry if you have to, but it won't be forever! You will find love again, and it will be even more beautiful!”
