If you grew up watching the Disney channel, then you first met Selena Gomez as Alex Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place. 

And you also met her TV brother, Max Russo, played by Jake T Austin. 

Now, it's safe to say many of us used to dream about our on-screen crushes when we were teenagers. You know, some day you come across your fave actor on the street and they fall madly in love with you and it's all happy ever after. 

But as we know, that doesn't happen in real life… Until now.

One girl, Danielle, was so obsessed with Jake that she tweeted him for SEVEN years straight, and guess what? The fangirl is now in a full-on relationship with Jake. And, he's "crazy for her."

According to Capital FM, Danielle first tweeted Jake in 2009, saying: "You're amazing; sorry just thought you should know that ."

After years of tweeting, she finally met him in 2012 in Planet Hollywood, New York, where she managed to get in a photo with him. 

After that encounter, Jake started following her on Twitter and four years later, they're happily together. 

Maybe we need to started tweeting Zac Efron and Harry Styles now…

The rumour mill has gone into overdrive since Selena was seen holding hands with Samuel Krost on Sunday night.

Selena is known for being careful about showing her relationships to the public, so it's safe to say that these two are dating.

They were spotted after having a cosy dinner in Beverly Hills hotspot SLS Hotel. And it's not the first time they've been seen cuddling up together, either.

But who is Samuel Krost? Well, according to his LinkedIn page, he's a fashion executive and once worked for fashion giant, Helmut Lang.

He's also a merchandiser and marketing exec for other various fashion brands.

Samuel is close friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid too, and features in loads of their Instagram posts. Living the high life!

Let's hope Selena's new romance is here to stay after her year of Justin and Niall gossip.

It seems like Hailey Baldwin might be a bit sick of Justin Bieber already. 

Hollywood Life has reported that Hailey has apparently given Justin an ultimatum regarding his love for other ladies and if he wants to be with her, he better "man up," according to the site. 

As we all know, Justin has been linked to quite a few ladies in the past few months, including his ex, Selena Gomez. And to be fair, he did harp on about her for quite a while, and told nearly every news outlet that he still loves his former girlfriend. 

To be fair to Hailey, we'd want Justin to stop singing out his ex, too.

A source told Us Weekly, "She [Hailey] demanded he stop stringing her along. She said he would lose her if he didn't man up and show he was serious about her."

The gorgeous pair have been friends for quite some time, so maybe this ultimatum is exactly what Justin needs to settle down and realise his true feelings.

What better way to celebrate a new relationship than strolling around on the beach at sunset. 

That's where Amy Schumer's new boyfriend, Ben Hanisch, took her last night, and posted a photo on Instagram to prove it. 

The photo showed Amy all wrapped up, walking along a beautiful beach, with the sky turning yellow and pink. *Swoon*.

And adding more romantic feelings to the post, he captioned it, "There is no place I'd rather be." *Double swoon*.

However, the night before had a completely different setting, as Amy took her new beau to the Golden Globes, and thanked him on IG "for being my after date."

Aww, we just LOVE these two together.

If you are or ever have been in a long distance relationship, then you know the struggles of not being able to see each other as often as you'd like. 

Long phone calls and cute emails are great and everything, but this couple have certainly found the perfect way to keep each other close. 

After spending the New Year in Canada, one clever girlfriend sneakily left behind a suitcase full of hidden treasures before she went home.

Somehow, she waited three days before telling her other half about the suitcase but it was clearly worth it when he found it and opened it up.

Inside were envelopes for nearly every scenario imaginable. She made some to open when he was sad, happy and even frisky. 

The lucky lad posted the envelopes on Imgur, and the response was very positive, with many telling him the marry the girl. 

We just think this is the cutest thing ever, and we're kinda hoping he does something equally as cute to thank her. #Goals.

The Mirror reported this week that Ellie Goulding and Dougie Poynter are back together after they were spotted out food shopping together on Friday night.

But adding fuel to the fire, Ellie Goulding has sparked more rumours of a reconciliation as she has shared a loving snap on Instagram of her beau today.

Ellie posted the pic of Dougie walking his first runway, and congratulated him in the caption. 

"Congratulations on your first walk @idougahole this is incredible," and hastagged it, #nextbigthing.

This comes after reports they might be getting back together since Dougie wished Ellie happy birthday in late December on social media.

"Happy birthday to this very special/red lady," he wrote. 

We LOVE this two together so fingers crossed everything is back on track.

Our fave funny woman, Amy Schumer was in Washington DC yesterday to support Barack Obama's fight against gun violence.

And what many people noticed about her photos of support, was that she had a handsome new guy in tow.

The comedian called the good-looking fellow her "man", and we have to say congrats Amy, he's hot. 

Her new beau is called Ben Hanisch. He's a furniture designer based in Chicago, and it seems that he's pretty crazy about her. 

On New Year's Eve, he shared a photo on Instagram of Amy and captioned the snap, "Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it. Here's to what adventures 2016 brings!"

Awwww. 

And Ms Schumer, being the funny gal that she is, made a pregnancy joke on not one, but two photos. 

We're hoping this is the beginning of a very long romance, and you never know with Amy, she might really be pregnant.

Things are certainly getting serious between Gigi Hadid and bad boy, Zayn Malik. 

The model shared a photo on Instagram of her new beau holding her cat, Cleo. Zayn's naked torso is on show, identifiable from his arm and chest tattoo.

But something that Gigi cropped out is the image of Zayn's former flame, Perrie Edwards, that is inked on his right arm. 

On New Years Eve, Gigi also posted a snap on Twitter of her wearing a Bradford City Football Club t-shirt, which is Mr Malik's hometown footie team. 

Bradford City posted a cheeky response to the tweet, but Zayn was quick to answer back:

OK, so it was rumoured that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were seen "cuddling and kissing" at a music festival in Australia yesterday, but now there seems to be PHOTO evidence of the pair hanging out together again. 

The gorgeous duo were spotted by an eagle eye festival goer, known on Instagram as jlawodair, and in three pictures they are seen having the craic. 

Whether this means they are taking another go at their relationship, we don't know. But one thing's for sure, they have become mega-friendly in the past few months.

Miley helped Liam pick out a new pet (which is totally adorable) and then Liam admitted in an interview with Men's Fitness that he still has feelings for Miley. 

"You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose," he said. 

We have to admit, they were the cutest couple ever, so we're kinda hoping they're back together for real this time.

But it seems that many hopefuls are sick of their kittens today, as Match.com has revealed that today is the day that their site is FLOODED with people looking for love. 

The first Sunday of January, known as Dating Sunday, is when you can expect matchmaking to be at its busiest – specifically at 8.52pm.

Match.com sees a 60 percent rise in new members and a massive 15 million new photos are uploaded.

So, get at it ladies! Mr (or Mrs) Right might be out there right now!

She slammed romance rumours with her dancing partner a while ago – but that was before she split with her boyfriend.

Georgia May Foote has reportedly been seen kissing her Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice during a break in Paris after she broke up with Coronation Street star Sean Ward. 

The Sun on Sunday is reporting that the pair were seen holding hands during a romantic getaway in Paris and then shared a kiss at the Magic Circus Hotel. 

However, the reports must be pretty devastating for Sean, who supported Georgia all the way through her Strictly experience.

A source told the newspaper, "[Georgia and Giovanni] were definitely trying to keep a low profile, but seemed really besotted. They were kissing in full view of lots of people.

"One morning Giovanni ate his breakfast alone, but he made sure he took her breakfast in bed… He obviously wanted to spoil her and treat her really well."

So, it seems dancing is the way to go to find love.
