The doting mum took to Instagram to announce the arrival of her little girl.

The name Remi is a girl's name of French origin meaning oarsman.

The mum-of-two couldn’t help but gush about her bundle of joy on Instagram: “The littlest light of our lives. At 3.32am this beauty made a rushed and amazing entrance into our lives. Remi Jo Quinn, we adore you baby girl… you are pure perfection.”

Rosie confirmed that she was expecting her second child in August. She posted a photo of her and her son Harry to confirm the news.

After recently revealing she is expecting her second child, Irish blogger Rosie Connolly has excitedly shared the news of baby number two's gender in a sweet video on Instagram.

Teasing followers as to whether she was expecting a boy or girl, Rosie shared a video alongside husband Paul and their son Harry. 

"Here we go…. It's a… " she captioned the video.

It made for a gorgeous video; the mum and her family were clearly thrilled with the news that she is expecting a little girl.

She had revealed on her Instagram stories that she would be sharing news of the gender, saying: "I can't keep the news that long and you're like my extended family." 

Rosie hadn't known the gender herself until she popped the balloon hence the squeals of delight.

After hinting at hopes of a second child with her partner Paul Quinn, the Irish blogger has officially confirmed her pregnancy. 

Rosie and Paul decided they wanted to wait to have another baby until after their wedding earlier this year.

She previously said, "We would love to have another baby- if it happens, it happens. Obviously, with our wedding in May we knew that we had to hold off a little."

And now the wait is over!

This mum is over the moon at the news, saying: "Even more happiness is on its way to us…2019 we’re ready for you."

Her three-year-old son Harry is excited to be a big brother as well.

Becoming a mum changed the blogger's life in the best way possible as she gushed on her blog.

“The love that came over me was so overwhelming, I just cried for the first week non stop, all happy tears," she wrote.

Popular Irish blogger Rosie Connolly is ready to expand her family with Paul Quinn. The couple are already parents to three-year-old son Harry, but admitted they’re hoping to welcome a new addition soon.

The mum admitted that she has been feeling broody all year.

Rosie opened up about her future family plans to RSVP Live: “I have been dying for another baby since the end of last year,” she admitted.

The fashion blogger has been eager to try for another baby, but one life event was standing in her way- her wedding.

Rosie and husband Paul Quinn tied the knot earlier this year in a stunning ceremony at Carton House, Kildare.

The lavish event took a hell of a lot of organising, so Rosie wanted to wait until after the grand event to think about growing their family.

"We would love to have another baby- if it happens, it happens. Obviously, with our wedding in May we knew that we had to hold off a little," the influence said.

Having another baby would be such a joy for the newlyweds: “We would be absolutely thrilled,” she shared.

Becoming a mum was a life-changing moment for Rosie. She gushed about the birth of her son Harry on her blog.

In late June, the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland (ASAI) upheld a complaint made against blogger Rosie Connolly.

It was claimed that the 28-year-old had filtered and photoshopped an image uploaded to Instagram.

The photograph was promoting a product sponsored by the makeup brand Rimmel.

The social media star has remained tight lipped about the ASAI ruling – until now.

Previously, Rosie stated the image in question had been approved by the makeup giant.

Rimmel Ireland however, took down the post as “it did not reflect their values as a brand.”

Nevertheless, they added that there was never an intent for it to be misleading.

Now, the blogger said she felt that she had been made an example of by the Advertising watchdog.

Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Rosie said she didn't blame the ASAI for their ruling, but did agree when asked if she felt they made her an example.

“Yeah, I do. I think they have to I suppose, that’s their position," said the blogger.

“Back when it happened I actually explained my position and how it all came about. I wasn’t going to relive the whole thing again when they came out with the ruling.

“But yeah, I don’t blame them for it. I think that’s just the way it goes. There are plenty of people who have broken rules or done things that were frowned upon by the ASAI but obviously my complaint was upheld, that’s fine.”

The blogger delved into the reason why she decided to stay quiet after the complaint was upheld.

Rosie felt she had been honest with her followers before the ASAI made their ruling and didn't want to relive the past.

“I came out and I explained exactly what happened, I was very open and honest when it all happened so when [the ruling] came out recently I wasn’t going to go through the whole thing again.

"Anyone who has followed me for that long already knows the story so I thought there was no point in bringing it up again."

However, Rosie added that she respects the ASAI's conclusion and why they did it.

 “I suppose they have to and I respect their guidelines, I respect what they have to do to make a point," she explained.

“So yeah, I do feel like I was used as an example but I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with that.”

The ASAI’s Complaints Committee stated after they chose to uphold the decision, that:

“All involved in the production of marketing communications that care should be taken so that the use of pre- and post-production techniques did not mislead about the attributes of the product being advertised.”

It will be interesting to see if further complaints of this nature will be ruled in the same way, and how that could impact the Instagram bloggers and brands who sponsor them.

'What you see – Just another selfie on your feed,' she began the poignant post.  

'What I see – behind the smile is a battle to get up, dressed and ready to face the world once again. I think it’s about time I was honest with you all, as keeping my feelings at to myself is making social media a very hard place to be lately.'

'I have been struggling with my mental health for 10 years and have had it under control for the past 3 years. However recently I’ve been struggling again, since well before our wedding day in May. I’ve been on medication for years, have done CBT, read self help books and they all worked. However things have changed lately and that’s ok… it’s ok to struggle again, it’s ok to have to start again in terms of recovery.'

After revealing her past struggle, Rosie went on to detail how she feels that having one life on social media and another offline contributes to mental health stigma – and she won't be contributing any longer. 

'What I’m not ok with, is painting on a brave face (literally) and posting images which are only a snapshot of my life and not showing the reality… it’s too much pressure for me and it’s really getting me down. I feel like I had to keep things positive and not let that slip for my followers, when in actual fact, I’m sure some of you are feeling the same.'

'Outside of social media I have talked to my family, my GP and I am doing all I can to mind myself… eating well, avoiding alcohol, taking things slower. But considering social media is such a big part of my life, I felt it’s only right to let you all know where I am at. I’m struggling, but I won’t be forever.'

'Talking to someone is the best thing you can do. Surround yourself with people who will listen… they may not have the answers but even just talking about how you feel will help, I promise. I’m hoping that sharing this post will lift the heavy, pressured feeling I’ve had on my shoulders the past few weeks and months. I’ll continue to post but just know that I may not always be in the best place and if I don’t seem like myself online, you know why.'
