It’s been five years since we saw her walk up the aisle at the most talked about wedding of the year, and now Pippa Middleton is set to do it again… except this time she’ll be the bride!

Kate Middleston’s younger sister, who was bridesmaid for the Duchess of Cambridge during her wedding to Prince William in April 2011, is this week celebrating her engagement to James Matthews who popped the question during a romantic weekend in the Lake District.

According to the Daily Mail, the 40-year-old businessman, who has been in a relationship with Pippa since last year, approached her father to ask his permission before getting down on one knee last Saturday afternoon.

Commenting on James’s approach to the proposal, a source revealed; “James is a traditionalist and very much wanted to do things properly. That meant getting his future father in law’s consent.”

“Mike and Carole are very happy,” the source said of 32-year-old Pippa’s parents. “They like James and they are sure he will make Pippa very happy.’

It is understand the couple, whose relationship went up a gear after spending New Years together in St. Barts, have their sights set on 2017 for the big day, and it sounds like the Middletons may have a very busy year ahead in that case with reports circulating that Pippa’s brother, James, may be intending to propose to girlfriend Donna Air.

Commenting on the reports, the model and TV presenter told Fabulous magazine: “I feel like I've already had a marriage of sorts. But would I like to have an official one? Yeah. Hell, why not! I always say you have to try everything once."

Pippa's wedding sounds like it could be the event of next year with numerous high-profile names including James' brother, MIC star, Spencer Matthews, all set to attend.

If her bridesmaid dress saw her dubbed Her Royal Hotness, we cannot WAIT to see her actual wedding dress.

We’ve long suspected that Kate Middleton is some kind of superhero and finally it seems we have found actual proof.

As well as looking impeccable all of the time and possessing the ability to sell out entire clothing lines at the drop of a hat, the Duchess of Cambridge has now revealed that she can actually fly.

The Internet has been left baffled by a recent photo in which the Royal beauty floats alongside David Cameron and brother-in-law Price Harry without either foot touching the ground.

Dressed in a collared lace dress for the Thiepval Memorial, the mother of two seems to hover angelically in the air as she looks off into the distance.

Saint Kate?  We think so.

If you have any sort of #FamilyGoals for the future, take a look at the royal family, because they are all the goals you need.

Kate amd William decided to take their two children on a ski holiday to the French Alps over the weekend – and the pictures are dreamy.

The family are seen having fun in the snow with two-year-old George and ten-month-old Charlotte.

The Duke and Duchess made sure they had their privacy though, as they flew to a secret location last Wednesday during a media blackout to ensure they weren't followed.

Unlike other royal ski trips, the couple decided not ot hold a photo-call but instead went for a singe Press Association photographer to capture a few beautiful moments.

We just can't get over how big George is getting and what a cutie Charlotte is.

If this doesn't get you broody, we don't know what will.

He can't stay at home playing with Charlotte forever, y'know.

Two-year-old Prince George of Cambridge entered the big bad world of education today, heading to Norfolk for his first day at nursery school.

True to form, the blond tot looked downright adorable for his big day, donning a navy quilted jacket with a tartan hood which will no doubt sell out in five seconds flat.

The pictures, taken at Westacre Montessori School Nursery this morning, were released via Kensington Palace's Twitter just now.

To celebrate his first outing as a big boy, George also got his very own schoolbag – cool or what?

Just before Christmas, the Royal Family shared their first family snap since Princess Charlotte's Christening back in May – and it's clear to see the two little kids are growing up to be a pair of total cuties.

Just look at them:

Anyone else's ovaries going into overdrive? No, just us then.

We have no doubt that this is not the first time Prince Harry has been asked this particular question. In fact this is probably the one thing Harry has in common with most non-royal individuals his age.

The 31-year old has recently finished a 17-mile trek for Walking With The Wounded. When ITV Britain had a chance to catch up with the royal, they were curious to know if he was “anywhere near” settling down.

His response: "No. There are a lot of things to get done before settling down.”

He added, “everyone looks forward to settling down, but in the meantime its work as usual so let's crack on."

Is this his way of shrugging off any rumours about his former flame Cressida?

There was speculation he had reunited with the blonde beauty when they were spotted celebrating his birthday together. Her recent breakup from actor Edward Holroft appeared to have further fuelled rumours she and the royal were an item once more.

At the time of his interview, Harry was just over half way through his trek, and seemed eager to get that out of the way before divulging any information about his personal life.

"The support has been amazing," he told People. "People come out to give money, and then when they hear what it's for they put another £20 in."

The former Army captain added that he intends on continuing his work with veterans for as long as possible:

“The main focus, from my point of view, for the rest of my life anyway is to make sure they get the best support possible.”

Following countless rumours surrounding her absence from various social events, Kate Middleton reappeared after having undergone something of a style transformation.

On a rare public outing with Prince William in Scotland she was all smiles as she debuted her new hair style.

The happy couple were headed to Crathie Kirk for Sunday morning prayers, sans Princess Charlotte and Prince George when Kate's new hair was spotted. The duo, along with Prince Charles were making their way from Balmoral Castle with a convoy of other cars.

Kate and her flawless curly blow-dry are pretty much the first thing that comes to mind when we think 'British royal' at this point so her new 'do had us all curious indeed.

She has changed her style before, opting for some shorter layers and a lighter colour in the past, but this is certainly a change. However, it has essentially proven that Kate's hair is so fabulous that she probably never has a bad hair day. The Duchess doesn't seem to know the meaning of the word.

Even this throw back picture proves that unlike the rest of us, her hair history is filled with flowing locks and pretty curls as opposed to some other less stellar hair moments that come to mind.

The family were at the castle earlier this week to celebrate the Queen becoming the longest-serving monarch. The 'family dinner' was the first time Kate was seen making a public appearance for some time since Princess Charlotte's christening earlier in the summer.

According to Hello! magazine it was also reported that Kate was to receive the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II, the highest honour that can be bestowed upon a female member of the royal family. While she is rumoured to be receiving the honour, there is no formal announcement to for the Order so the public would have to wait and see if she will be wearing it at the state dinner for China's president next month.

Previous recipients of the honour include Prince William's mother, Diana and Prince Charles' wife, the Duchess of Cornwall.

Back in 2009 at the royal wedding, the crowds got a little bit distracted when they set eyes on Kate Middleton's stunning sister, Pippa, and it seems the same thing may have happened again.

It's no surprise that Kate would have stunning siblings, but that still didn't stop us being in complete shock and awe when we spotted her brother attending Wimbledon yesterday.

James Middleton caught the attention of Twitter yesterday when he was spotted watching the tennis from the royal box on centre court.

The photos from the royal christening were released this week, but it seems that baby Charlotte was completely outshone by someone else, her uncle's beard.

Sadly, James and his beard are not on the market. He has been dating actress Donna Air for two years.

The Royal Family celebrated Princess Charlotte's christening on Sunday with a church ceremony in Norfolk.

Although the public and the media were permitted to gather on the walkway into the church's gardens, the ceremony was a private affair for family and friends only. Luckily for us though, Kensington Palace has just published the official shots from the christening, taken by renowned celebrity photographer Mario Testino.

As well as Prince Charles, Camilla Parker-Bowles, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, the family event was also attended by Kate's sister Pippa, her brother James and her parents Michael and Carole. The family gathered at Sandringham House afterwards to celebrate the happy day:

In keeping with royal tradition, little Charlotte has a grand total of five godparents – Kate’s long-time friend Sophie Carter, William's schoolfriends James Meade and Thomas van Straubenzee, Kate's cousin Adam Middleton, and Princess Diana's niece The Hon. Laura Fellowes.

We are just loving these beautiful solo shots of Kate holding Charlotte and William playing with George:

Gorgeous.

Peruvian photographer Mario has worked with the Royal Family on a number of occasions before, having photographed Prince Charles, Prince Harry and even Princess Diana.

He also took the iconic photos that Kate and William released to announce their engagement back in December 2010:

We can't wait to see more photos of the family as little Charlotte and George grow up.

When we say ‘England,’ what do we immediately think of? Big Ben, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and… Kate Middleton’s hair!

The Duchess of Cambridge’s luscious locks have managed to become a national treasure in their own right.

It is not her adventurous styles that captivate the world, but more so the mind-boggling consistency of her hair’s perfection.

While K Middy is famous for sporting her now iconic curly blow-dry look, she branched out over the weekend for the christening of her youngest child, the adorable Princess Charlotte.

To celebrate the Duchess’s branch out from tradition, let’s take a look at Kate’s ten best hair moments.

Her hair even stayed this perfect against beach winds when the Royal couple visited Australia last year

Their tour continued into New Zealand with Kate rocking the perfect ponytail (and Alexander McQueen dress)

K Middy's hair was as stunning as ever after they announced her first pregnancy with Prince George in 2012

She first gained attention with an up-do in 2012 when she styled her hair with pearl-topped pins for tea at the British High Commission

The mother-of-two's locks were at their best at her official engagement party to husband, Prince William.

Kate proves that her infamous hair was always something to be admired in this throwback photo.

He may not even be two years old yet, but Prince George has already made a name for himself as the most entertaining Royal.

Granted, he doesn't have much competition for the moment considering Charlotte can't do much but gurgle and cry, but even so we're not sure if she'll ever be able to beat his incredible facial expressions and adorably chubby cheeks.

Prince George might become the King of England one day, but for now he's happy to chill out and generally be great craic. Here are just a few times he just won at life…

1. When he checked in on Charlotte like a big brother should
He may have stolen the show at her Christening, but he made sure to let her in on the action too.

2. That time he knew exactly where to turn to get the best camera angle
*jazz hands*

3. When Dad tried to hurry him along but he was too busy perfecting his gangsta swagger
Work it, G.

4. Getting his game face on to deal with the paps
"Come at me, braw."

5. That time he was having none of this "being a good boy" stuff
"PUT ME DOWN, WOMAN."

6. And when he really began to question the meaning of life during his visit to New Zealand
It's tough being a baby.

7. When looking adorable all day just got to be a bit too much
Meh.

8. That one time Kate tried to take a photo of him and Charlotte and he threw her some serious shade
"If you're not Mario Testino, you can put that camera away."

9. When Mum and Dad wanted a demure family portrait and George was all "LET'S PARTAAAAAAY"
Reckless youth.

10. And finally, when he took a break from being cool to enjoy a dance with his Mum
If this doesn't hit you right in the ovaries we don't know what will.

The day has finally arrived!

Princess Charlotte’s christening has begun. She made her first public appearance since appearing outside the hospital the day she was born.

The ceremony took place at the same church where Princess Diana was christened in 1961. The ceremony was small with Kate and William, Prince George, the Queen, Kate’s parents, her sister Pippa, brother brother James and William’s parents Charles and Camilla.

The five godparents of Princess Charlotte were also in attendance. Named earlier today her godparents did not include either of William or Kate’s siblings.

Instead they were made up of friends of William and Kate, along with family members such as Princess Diana’s niece Laura Fellowes.

Kate’s long-time friend Sophie Carter was chosen, as were James Meade a school friend of William, Adam Middleton, Kate’s cousin and Thomas van Straubenzee who William also went to school with.

Thomas, pictured above, married Lady Melissa Percy in 2013 at Alnwick Castle, better known to Harry Potter buffs as the Hogwarts castle, FYI. William attended the wedding but Kate could not as she pregnant with Prince George who is now almost 2-years old.

Princess Charlotte wore her brother’s replica of a more than 170-year old royal heirloom made by Angela Kelly, who is dressmaker to the Queen.

The family of four made their way to the church in quite a stylish fashion, Kate wore a white Alexander McQueen  while she pushed Charlotte’s pram past the people lined up outside to greet the royals.

Prince William looked very dapper in his suit while Prince George had an adorable red and white themed look for the day. Prince George’s outfit is reminding twitter users of his dad’s outfit the first time he met Prince Harry.

Prince Harry who is currently in Nambia, missed out on the family occasion. While his stepmother Camilla almost suffered a serious wardrobe malfunction when a gust of wind caught her off guard in her pale blue style.

The Middleton’s co-ordinated their looks with ivory outfits in line with Kate’s own outfit.

After the christening the Queen hosted tea at her Sandringham home, where guests will also have cake from William and Kate’s 2011 wedding.

Prince Harry is apparently out of the running to be one of Princess Charlotte’s six godparents. Note, Charlotte has one less godparent than her older brother Prince George.

While there was some speculation Prince Harry’s absence was some sort of royal snub, it seems to be more as a result of his being out of the country.

The 30-year old royal will be spending the summer travelling and doing charity and conservation work. He is reportedly going to be in Africa when the christening will take place.

The ceremony will take place later today at the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Sandringham.

The baptism will be held in private with fewer than 30 people present at the event. It will be the first time the family of four will make a public appearance together.

Harry unfortunately will not be present as he’s already left for his trip to Africa. Sad news for any of the members of the public waiting outside the church hoping to catch a glimpse of the young royal.

Official photographs of the occasion will be taken by photographer Mario Testino who was Princess Diana’s favourite photographer. Charlotte will wear a replica of the lace and satin christening gown made for the princess royal, Victoria, in 1841.

The godparents will be revealed at the ceremony so we’ll have to wait and find out, although there have been rumours that since Prince Harry is no longer in the running, David Beckham might be a possibility.

Can’t imagine that minion tattoo would go down so well at afternoon tea in the palace though, but you never know.

Speculation is mounting about who will step into the role, with bookies also actually giving odds who might be the favourite.

Princess Beatrice, 26, was also in the running and according to book makers she had got more of a chance than her sister Euginie, 25, as she often socialises with Will and Kate.

We were very intrigued to discover that neither of the Princess's were named as Charlotte's godparents after all.

Instead it was friends and family of the couple themselves who will take the honours later today; Miss Sophie Carter, Mr. James Meade, Mr. Adam Middleton, The Hon. Laura Fellowes and Mr. Thomas van Straubenzee were all named as Princess Charlotte's godparents.
