Katy Perry is NOT happy with this journalist’s behaviour
Katy Perry may have split from Russell Brand over three and a half years ago, but their split still seems to be big news.
The singer took to Twitter just now to hit back at Sydney's Daily Telegraph newspaper for re-printing quotes from an interview she did with one of their journalists three years ago, leading readers to believe it was a new interview.
The quotes, which are mainly to do with Russell, were picked up by a number of media outlets over the weekend and include the line, "He [Russell] hasn't spoken to me since he texted me saying he was filing for divorce."
Now Katy has called out the journalist in question to her 70m followers, saying his conduct was "inappropriate."
It's really inappropriate when journalists repurpose interviews done 3 yrs ago in context of promoting a film & then stamp a new date on it.

This is not the first time Katy has hit back at the Australian media. Last November she took to Twitter to complain about invasive practises by paparazzi Down Under.
Posting a picture of a typed open letter, Katy wrote, "Australian PRESS: You should be ashamed of your paparazzi and tabloid culture… I was stalked by many grown men today as I tried to take a quiet walk to the beach. These men would not stop as I pleaded over & over to let me have my space."
She even followed it up with images of a number of the photographers and the caption, "THESE ARE A FEW OF THE STALKERS."

We definitely won't be getting ourselves on Katy Perry's bad side, that's for sure.
