It’s an incredibly exciting time for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, having recently welcomed their daughter, James, to the world.

However, drama is never too far away in Hollywood, as the latest reports regarding the couple have proven.

According to sources, the couple have been dragged into a photo scandal, with private photos of their newborn daughter reportedly stolen by a former close friend.

It is believed that a laptop containing at least 15 private photos of little James was stolen from the couple’s home, with the images now up for sale to the highest bidder.

Among the images is said to be one of doting dad Ryan cradling his daughter against his chest, with James’ hospital wrist tag clearly visible.

Given how private the couple have been when it comes to their daughter, even keeping the details of her name a secret, we can’t imagine how horrified they must be.

Let’s hope that they are able to get the images back before they are leaked and show up everywhere.

When it comes to news about Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, we all get so excited, so it is no surprise that we could hardly contain our excitement when we discovered who baby James’ godmothers are.

Blake’s Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants co-stars- Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrara and Alexis Bledel have all been granted the honour of each being a godmother to the daughter of our favourite Hollywood couple.

Amber Tamblyn confirmed the news when asked “You’re still very close with your co-stars and the three of you are godmothers to Blake Lively’s baby, is that a fact?” Tamblyn replied “Yes, that is a fact.”

Awww!

She gave birth to baby James last year, who’s name was only recently confirmed. This is her first child with husband Ryan Reynolds.

They are one of the cutest couples in Hollywood, and appear to be happier than ever after welcoming their first child together.

It seems that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds also share a similar sense of humour, if new mum Blake’s latest Instagram snap is anything to go by!

Blake got up to some mischief after Ryan shared the first glimpse of his costume for his latest movie, Deadpool, in which he is seen lying on a bear rug in front of a fire.

Ryan’s wife couldn’t help but draw comparison between him and legendary actor Burt Reynolds, in one of his most famous and risqué photo shoots.

Clearly amused, former Gossip Girl star Blake captioned the photo: “Now for this week’s WHO WORE IT BETTER…Reynolds vs Reynolds. I vote for a reshoot: wearing only the mask.”

The 27-year-old added the adorable hashtags ‘Ryan Reynolds rocks my socks’ and ‘Can someone please give that bear a break’.

Could they get any cuter?

Of course, seeing Ryan playing a superhero has no doubt brought back fond memories for Blake, who first met her husband when they starred together in action flick Green Lantern.

Ok… it's not Violet… it's not Excalibur Anaconda… but it's still a little weird!

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcomed their first child together, a little girl, just after Christmas.

As with many celebrity couples, they have tried hard to keep all details about their new arrival under wraps. We don't expect to see a picture of Baby Reynolds-Lively anytime soon, but we finally have confirmation of her name from Ryan himself!

The actor revealed the truth during a TODAY appearance, although he couldn't resist joking around a bit first.

"It is Butternut Summersquash,” the 38-year-old said. “No, it’s out there! It’s out there. It’s James. Everyone knows and I told everyone who would listen that.”

Rumours that the couple had indeed named their daughter James began circulating about a month ago, and it seems they were indeed correct.

"Before it was out there I didn’t want to be the first guy screaming it out to the media because as we know, little girls turn into teenage girls and little teenage girls sometimes scan through the archives and go, ‘Why did you do that?’"

What a considerate dad – little James is a very lucky girl!

There has been an incredible amount of rumours surrounding the name of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s newborn daughter.

From Violet to Jamie, the media has been in overdrive, but no confirmation or announcement has been made by the couple yet.

In fact, Ryan has decided to reveal why they are keeping their little girl’s name a secret – by claiming there’s no secret…eh?

“There’s zero secret about it,” the actor told the Associated Press, “That little girl will grow up to be a teenager who will find out I blurted her name out on national television and probable make me pay for it. She will exact her revenge in searing, psychic pain.”

Wow, dramatic much Ryan?!

Getting a little more serious, it seems that their choice not to reveal their child’s name is all down to her right to privacy, which is understandable: “When you put yourself in the public eye, you have to accept certain aspects of it. [But] I think to some degree, if you don’t court it, you don’t have to deal with it so much.”

Hmm, it looks as if we will be waiting a long time to find out this Hollywood baby’s name! We’ll just settle on Jamie for now. 

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been working very hard to keep their new daughter's name out of the media since she was born back in December.

Early reports based on a now-deleted tweet from Westchester Medical Centre suggested that the Lively-Reynolds baby had been named Violet, but those later turned out to be false. Even after repeated grilling from TV host David Letterman recently, all Ryan would divulge was that they had chosen a traditional family name, and nothing more. 

Well, they weren't lying about choosing a traditional name, but it's certainly not the one we were expecting!

A source close to the couple has finally revealed the star couple's choice to E! News, and while nothing has been revealed by the couple yet, this is the closest we've had to confirmation of a name so far.

So, here it is! Welcome to the world little… James?!

Yes, we were definitely more than a little taken aback at Blake and Ryan's decision, but when you consider that Blake is not exactly the most feminine of names either, it does make a little more sense. 

There's no word from Blake or Ryan, but we reckon it can't be long until we find out for sure!

What we are more than certain of is that the couple are already doing a great job of parenting as a team. Ryan recently spoke about his complete lack of sleep since his little girl arrived, confessing, "I don't sleep very much. It's great. It's wonderful. But my brain is elsewhere… I had to go to Sundance this last week. I was more excited to get a good night's sleep. It was borderline pornographic for me.''

We can't wait to see pictures of little James, if that IS her real name!

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are no strangers to the limelight, but they are insistent that their daughter will be.

The couple made no official announcement after welcoming their first child together in late December, and they have yet to reveal her name either.

Although a tweet reportedly sent by a member of staff at the Westchester Medical Center listed the newborn's name as Violet, Ryan stated earlier this week that this was not the case. "No that’s not the name. I don’t want to get into that but I don’t know where that came from," he told USA Today.

On an interview with David Letterman last night, the actor still refused to give an exact name – though he did give us a few more clues! 

During a grilling from David, Ryan admitted that their daughter had been given a "family name," though she is definitely not named for Blake's mum Elaine.

The actor stayed cool and shook his head as David ran through a list of names including Olivia, Sophia and Emma. When asked if he would let his daughter know her own name eventually, Ryan joked, "I'm thinking of letting her know."

The Proposal actor says he and Blake have a good reason for staying schtum, though. "I don't want to say it in a media context," he said. "I tell everyone who I meet, so it'll come out."

The actor gushed about his newfound life as a father, saying, "I'm not one for vomiting declarations of sentiment out across the airwaves, but when we had that baby, I fell more in love with my wife than I'd ever been in my entire life. I couldn't even believe it."

As for the daddy-daughter bond, Ryan admitted, "I used to say to [Blake], 'I would take a bullet for you. I could never love anything as much as I love you.'…And the second I looked in that baby's eyes, I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby."

Aaaaw… or not!

We’re not going to lie, we’ve been SO looking forward to finding out the name Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ newborn – but they’re keeping quiet.

One thing  that is now certain is that Violet, the name many believed the couple had given her, is completely WRONG!

The new dad spoke with USA Today and said that he had no idea where that name came from, but it most certainly is not his daughter’s name: “No that’s not the name. I don’t want to get into that but I don’t know where that came from.”

We bet that little girl has the prettiest name ever – we can’t wait to hear it! That is of course, unless Ryan got his way and called her Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds like he threatened to back in October…! We really, really hope not…

Ryan also spoke about the difficulties of being a new dad – namely lack of sleep: “It’s still so new that it’s hard to conceive being away for more than seven hours at a time. I had to go to Sundance this last week. I was more excited to get a good night’s sleep. It was borderline pornographic for me.”

Sounds as if Ryan and Blake have their hands full but are loving every minute of it! 

Yesterday, there was chaos as a tweet was released that claimed to reveal the name and sex of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' new baby. The information, which had not yet been released by Blake, Ryan or a rep was revealed in a tweet by a Westchester employee on Twitter who wrote: “Congrats @blakelively #blakelively glad to have you and baby girl violet in our care.”

However, a source for US Weekly has now said this information is false, and the tweet was fake.

The tweet was later deleted so it looks as if we will just have to wait for a rep or indeed the couple themselves to release the exciting details about the birth of their first child. We can't wait! Perhaps the couple will hear about the fake tweet and decide they really like the name Violet…who knows! 

The baby was born early before the new year and the couple managed to keep it quiet until Sunday.
