Sabrina the teenage witch

Listen up, witches! Netflix has just confirmed the release date for part three of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and it’s airing a lot sooner than we expected.

Part three of the drama series airs on January 24.

The last time we saw them, they had just defeated the Dark Lord, who turned out to be Sabrina’s actual dad.

Sabrina’s beau Nicholas Scratch sacrificed himself by trapping the Dark Lord in his body. Lilith returned to Hell with Nicholas, but where does that leave his relationship with Sabrina?

Fans are eager to find out whether the witch will save Nick from Hell and it certainly looks like she’s plotting to after Netflix dropped a teaser trailer.

In the short clip, Sabrina is wearing a red robe and is walking through a curtain of smoke.

Someone then whispers, “Welcome to Hell,” hinting that Sabrina will rescue Nick in the third installment of the dark coming-of-age series.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been one of the most successful Netflix shows of 2018, and for good reason.

The show is a darker take on one of our old 1990s faves, Sabrina the Teenage Witch; a coming of age story about a seemingly normal adolescent girl with a horror-themed secret.

Netflix' take on the series has expanded the layers of witchcraft, introducing the occult, bloodlust and evil forces inherent in the human world. Sounds like our kind of vibe, doesn't it?

Kiernan Shipka totally cast her spell on the audience as Sabrina Spellman, and our new internet boyfriend Chance Perdomo had quite an effect as her cousin, Ambrose.

When we left Sabrina at the end of part one, she was forced to make her decision regarding the border between the human world and the world of witchcraft, with powerful results.

We already knew that season two was in the works, as ordered the series as a two-part deal. Thank the Gods for that.

Luckily for us, we don't have to wait long for season two to hit our screens, the trailer has been released and our gal Sabrina is most-definitely dark witch material.

Sporting her new icy blonde hair and cheeky grin, she's undoubtedly up to mischief.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 airs on April 5th on Netflix. Get ready, witches.

Netflix has confirmed the release date for upcoming series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

The Riverdale spin-off is set for release on October 26, just in time for the spookiest time of year- Halloween.

The first season of the thrilling show will feature ten episodes.

The spellbinding series will follow the life of young with Sabrina as she grapples with her newly discovered powers.

The dark coming-of-age tale will see Sabrina adapt to life as half-human and half-witch.

The new series will be a lot darker than the original show. It has taken major inspiration from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comics rather than the original TV show.

Kiernan Shipka has been confirmed to play Sabrina, with Wonder Woman star Lucy Davis set to star as Aunt Hilda.

Taking on the role as Sabrina’s aunt Zelda is Homeland actress Miranda Otto.

However, the beloved aunts will be extremely different to the Helda and Zelda we know and love.
According to Variety, Zelda Spellman will be a stern and strict aunt to Sabrina. She believes that there is no greater honour than serving the Dark Lord.

Zelda is extremely protective of her young niece being described as the most disciplined member of the family.

Former Disney Channel star Ross Lynch will star as Harvey Kinkle, who has been described as, “the prince charming of this dark fairy tale.”

Netflix has ordered two seasons of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

We cannot wait to tune into the spooky series.

We're SO ready for the reboot of Sabrina (the aptly dubbed Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina) to scare our socks off.

The first look at the series is surprisingly sweet, though.

Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa gave us a glimpse at a tender moment between Harvey (Ross Lynch) and Sabrina herself (Kiernan Shipka).

Kiernan is absolutely spellbinding in her outfit. The look is just so classic, from her candy apple red coat to the simple black headband.

We have to say though… doesn't this seem awfully wholesome for the supposedly dark retelling of Sabrina the Teenage Witch?

The former Mad Men actress has said of the new Netflix series: 'It’s going to be really dark and really cool, and have this very like macabre take on everything. I’m really pumped to be a witch. Who wouldn’t be?'

When it comes to Sabrina's fellow witches, her aunt Zelda will be played by Homeland actress Miranda Otto.

The entire series may be darker and spookier than the original, but we cannot wait to tune in when it eventually airs on Netflix.

No air date has been confirmed for the untitled Chilling Adventures of Sabrina adaptation, but Netflix has ordered two seasons of the bewitching show already.

If you're anything like us, you grew up watching Sabrina Spellman in Sabrina the Teenage Witch navigating the murky waters of teenhood coupled with the pressures of casually being a half-witch.

While we may have been obsessed with Sabrina herself, our favourite character had to be the satirical genius SALEM.

The talking cat narrated many of Sabrina's adventures, and we're delighted that he will be making a reappearance in the edgy re-make.

It was Aguirre-Sacasa who tweeted the big reveal of the new Salem over on Twitter.

Looking slightly sleeker in his modern remake, we're dying to find out if he will be voiced by Nick Bakay this time around.

We just don't think we can picture Salem Saberhagen with anyone elses' vocals.

We watched in awe as she juggled high school drama with trips to the other realm, and struggled to decide which aunt was our favourite, Hilda or Zelda?

From her evil twin to that 'Harvey digs Sabrina' episode, there were plenty of iconic moments in Westbridge.

The show is set to be a departure from the bright and bubbly Sabrina show of our childhood.

It's going to be a darker, edgier drama which sees Sabrina struggling against the forces of evil, all while maintaining a normal half-mortal life.

No word yet on whether Salme the talking cat will make a comeback, but we don't think it would be the same without him.

If you only know what mitosis is as a result of binge-watching Sabrina, The Teenage Witch throughout your childhood, then it's likely you were a die-hard fan of the Nickelodeon show.

(And if not, then it's high-time you know that it's the process of cell division.)

Anyway, the cast of our favourite childhood show did us all a solid in recent days by reuniting at L.A Comic Con, and taking part in a special panel where they reflected on their time in the fictional town of Westbridge.

Melissa Joan Hart, who played the half-mortal, half-witch for seven years, treated her fans and followers to candid shots with her former castmates.

As not everyone could make the big day, Melissa paid tribute in some captions, writing: "Missing some of our friends but having fun catching up after 20 years."

Unsurprisingly, members of the public who spent their childhoods chuckling wryly at Salem's wisecracks and cringing into their sleeves over Mr Craft's dull gags were all over Melissa's Instagram this weekend.

"OH….MY….STARS….Sabrina reunion!!!! I can't deal! I've waited for this," gushed one while another added: "Oh god please please tell me that you guys are bringing the show back!"

Break out the velvet hair bands and get ready for a 90s throwback like no other, because Sabrina the Teenage Witch could be returning to screens as early as next year.

According to Variety, The CW and Warner Bros. Television are currently working on a new hour-long drama series based on the much-loved character.

But, there's a twist.

Should the series go ahead, it would be based on the Archie comics, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which reimagines the adventures of the teenage witch as a dark coming-of-age story.

It's reported that the potential series would go hand-in-hand with Riverdale, a show also based on the Archie Comics.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, chief creative officer of Archie Comics, will serve as writer and executive producer while Lee Toland Krieger, director of Riverdale, looks set to direct and executive produce.

We can not wait for this!

Sabrina the Teenage Witch is one TV show that will stay with us forever.

For many of us, it was the first series to welcome us into the supernatural world (apart from Buffy, of course), and we fell in love with each and every character (Salem <3).

And can you believe it's been TWENTY years since the show first aired? Talk about feeling old…

So when reunion rumours were sparked earlier this year, it's safe to say a lot of people became very excited.

Would our beloved Salem come back onto our TV screen? Will we be able to witness the craziness of Aunt Hilda and Zelda again?

Well, Mellisa Joan Harte has crushed all of or dreams today as she believe the show ended "perfectly" and there's no need to bring it back. *BOOOO*

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Melissa said: "I think it played out.

"You can't end Sabrina better than you ended it – riding off on a motorcycle with Harvey to a No Doubt song, leaving one wedding to go to another.

"The ending of the show was perfect."

*More boooos*

Our reunion dreams are crushed, ladies.

So the internet has pretty much decided that there will be a Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot series that has not been confirmed by anyone at all.

And still a suspicious (and probably photoshopped) 'poster' for the new series has been doing the rounds on social media and people are really excited about it.

The poster shows Melissa Joan Hart standing with a younger blonde actress with a caption reading: "Sabrina's Teenage Witch" as well as the ABC logo.

While there has been no confirmation from the actress herself or the TV network, Twitter believes it and who know what could happen if Twitter believes.

Another factor that may lead fans into believing there is going to be a reboot series is that Melissa has been sharing some throwback pictures from her days on the series.

So yeah, dare to dream world!

Still we'll just have to wait and see how this one plays out:
