And the world’s most beautiful woman is…
People magazine has today named its most beautiful woman of 2015, and the winner is… Sandra Bullock.
In an interview with the publication, the 50-year-old actress said she was shocked when she was told of the news: “I laughed. No, really, I just said ‘That’s ridiculous,’” Sandra revealed, adding that to-date, she’s purposely kept the title under wraps.
Last year, Kenyan Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong'o was given the same accolade, while in 2013 Gwyneth Paltrow was deemed the winner.
Ms Bullock went on the say in the interview that the people she finds most beautiful “are the ones who aren’t trying”.
Jess Cagle, People’s editorial director, said on Good Morning America earlier today that Sandra “just gets better and better over time,” – something the mother-of-one herself says she owes to her healthy diet, and working out up to five times a week.
Other beautiful stars listed for mention in the current edition include actress Vanessa Hudgens, and singers Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor.
Sandra won an Academy Award in 2010 for her lead role in The Blind Side. She has also been in Gravity, and Miss Congeniality. More recently, she leant her voice to Minions, which will be released this summer.
