Millennials don't exactly get an easy time; most people hate us or just dismiss us as snowflakes who only have knowledge about wi-fi and avocado toast.

While we generally have more of a penchant for the internet seeing as we GREW UP WITH IT… this doesn't mean we're as lazy and vain as everyone says we are.

For example, we only have three selfie sticks and check our reflections between the hours of 9am and 11pm everyday, so what's the big deal about?

We've all heard the lectures from our elderly relatives about how we drain the economy and refuse to get jobs, but people love to focus on the negatives rather than the positives.

Getting a millennial a Christmas gift can be a challenge, seeing as the chances of them being vegan, supporting paraben-free and cruelty-free produce and generally hipster and full of notions are sky high.

They'll also most likely blog the entire gift opening session, and post every aspect of it to social media, so it's gotta be impressive.

We've made a gift guide especially to help you out this festive season, y'all are welcome.

Last night, the whole crew of Zoolander 2 walked the red carpet in London, but the movie wasn't the only thing that premiered.

While all the celebs were walking the carpet, Ben Stiller came out with the longest selfie stick EVER.

It captured all the cast and crew (along with Myleene Klass for some reason) and some by-standers, too.

Although we can't really see everyone from that height, the novelty is too much for us and we want need that selfie stick now.

If you thought that your brand new selfie stick was something to brag about then you might have to reconsider.

We are sorry to break it to you but the simple old selfie stick contraption is no longer going to cut it because all the cool kids are taking things one step further. The trend of arty food snaps is not going anywhere. To be honest, we find that on a scroll through Instagram or Facebook these days, colourful breakfast bowls are in fierce competition with the ever-popular selfie.

So, how do you take it to the next level and make sure selfie gets all the attention it undoubtedly deserves? You ditch the boring conventional selfie stick shot, and pair it with the ultimate foodies snap.

The breakfast selfie is now something that is happening.  Worried you might not be able to pull it off without getting poached egg in your hair or coffee on your winter scarf? Then you need look no further that the selfie spoon.

Mad props to anyone who can guess what this is.

The US cereal brand Cinnamon Toast Crunch unveiled their new wonder product in a gadget that is certainly trendy but the convenience of it still remains to be seen.

The design is very straightforward, a normal selfie stick, except the end that you hold also has a spoon attached. So a simple scoop and snap method are all you need for your morning photoshoot.

The brand promises that this is “really a thing” and “people will like your photos!” Thanks guys, there is one downside though, it only comes in purple. However, it is free, minus delivery.

In case you needed more convincing that this is the way of the future then let us have you know that they have already sold out once.

We deeply apologise to all selfie stick lovers for bringing you this terrible news: selfie sticks have officially been banned at Disney World and Disneyland.

Disney officials have announced that starting on Tuesday, all Disney theme parks in Orlando, Paris and Hong Kong will have a ban on the popular photo taking tool.

A spokeswoman for the group explained to the Orlando Sentinel that selfie sticks have become a “growing safety concern for both our guests and cast.”

Disneyland is joining a growing list of popular venues that have banned the selfie-taking apparatus. The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Colosseum in Rome, Wimbledon tennis championships, Coachella music festival, and a host of other venues have all banned the stick.

While the world’s selfie epidemic has undoubtedly gotten out of control, we can’t argue that there have been some pretty great photos captured as a result.

So, in memory of the selfie stick, let’s take a look at our favourite five celebrity-selfie-stick-moments.

1. Is there any possible selfie more 'fashion' than Zoolander, Hansel and Anna Wintour? Definitley, definitely not.

2. Even the President of The United States is doing it…

3. Wouldn't it be a downright shame if this beautiful trio couldn't capture themselves at the optimum angle?

4. A bearded Leo DiCaprio has even been seen aimlessly wandering around with his selfie stick.

5. And last but by no means least, the woman who wrote the book on it… literally. While we realise that Kim K isn't holding a selfie stick here, her deep-rooted love for taking pictures of herself did result in an elephant giving her a fright so we simply couldn't leave it out.
