Earlier this week, I. Marlene King had an interview with Variety in which she said, "I think that this story when we're back will end next year at the end of season seven."

The writer then asked, "So you definitely want it to end at the end of season seven, and don't want it to go beyond that?" and Marlene said, "Correct."

So, naturally, everyone lost their mind because they thought PLL was ending. #Standard.

BUT NOW, Marlene has taken to Twitter to announce that she was misinterpreted and PLL will NOT end after season seven.

"What I said was 'This Uber A story that starts on January 12 will end when season 7 ends,'" she wrote on Twitter. "I did not say PLL will end. Just sayin 4 real." 

This is getting more complicated than A's creepy texts!
