As opening credits go, Sex and the City is pretty memorable.

From the iconic tutu to the snapshot into a busy New York street, the guys behind the hit HBO series definitely nailed it.

But it looks like it took a few versions if recent footage doing the rounds online is anything to go by.

A 35-second clip, which was uploaded to YouTube yesterday, shows the writer in an almost identical set-up, but without the trademark tutu and unfortunate showering.

We swooned over him in 2004 and we're swooning over him now in 2017.

Remember the actor who played Smith in Sex and the City? Well, he's probably just as hot (or hotter) since the last time you saw him.

It's been a shocking 13 years since we said goodbye to SATC, and to be honest, we kinda forgot about Jason Lee Lewis who played the character.

But, thanks to Pretty 52 who unearthed Jason's Instagram account, we can now all bask in his sexiness.

Sex and the City entertained us with the antics of Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha for the best part of a decade, and now Instagram page Every Outfit on SATC keeps us amused with throw backs to some of the foursome's fiercest looks.

The hugely popular page has recently branched out into creating merchandise on their SATC shop, Miranda Solidarity. 

While having a browse, we spotted a very saucy surprise nestled amongst the Carrie tees and Miranda tote bags.

The store is selling sex positive Samantha Condom Gift Sets, the perfect gag gift for Galentine's Day.

Entertain the Samantha of your group with this gas gift, which includes a SATC-themed "Do Not Disturb" door hanger.

Each condom comes in individual pink and leopard print cardboard packaging, perfect for keeping in your clutch bag. 

The set comes wih five condoms, one for every NYC borough. 

"Samantha Condoms are made of FDA-approved premium latex and are lubricated, obvi," says the site.

Better safe than sorry, and who better to promote safe sexual encounters than the character who furthered the cause of female sexuality back in the 90s.

Considering the designer wardrobe she rocked throughout Sex and the City's six incredible seasons, you'd be forgiven for thinking that you'd need to take out a mortgage to get your hands on the tutu Sarah Jessica Parker wore in the title sequence of the show.

With countless Manolos in her closet and more couture gowns than you could shake a stick at, we assumed that the outfit which launched one of the most iconic shows in television history would come at a fairly hefty price.

And how wrong were we?

According to Marie Claire, Carrie's tutu was found by the show's costume designer, Patricia Field, in a showroom bin, and set her back a mere $5.

That's right, ladies, the tutu which got on the wrong side of a cross-city New York bus cost less than the price of a pint back in 1998.

Unfortunately, it's no longer possible to get your hands on it for next to nothing as Patricia Field made the decision to recreate the skirt as part of a Sex and the City collection, and it's now retailing for a cool $115.

Last month when American talk-show host Wendy Williams addressed the rumours that Kim Cattrall is getting a spin-off series about Samantha Jones, Kim herself added fuel to the fire by tweeting "Fingers x's."

The actress then later responded to a video posted on Twitter and said, "Can't WAIT 2 get back 2 the serious business of making u all laugh (sic)!"

Of course, the whole Sex and the City world went berserk at the idea of a spin-off show, but nothing more was said about it… until now.

Kim took to Instagram last night to share her first ever Boomerang and captioned it, "My 1st Boomerang, Honey! Channelling Ms Samantha Jones once again…."

Her make-up artist then shared a similar picture on IG, telling his fans that he's working on a "secret project" with Kim.

Could this be it? Are we finally going to get a show dedicated to Samantha Jones?!

We think it's time to plan a viewing party, ladies.

The Sex And The City actor is now aged 62.

And although he has a surprisingly modest presence on social media – 4.6K followers on Twitter and 10K on Instagram – a quick glance (OK, an elongated drool) at his recent posts confirms that he's still as handsome as ever.

When you look back on Sex and the City, a lot of questions need to be asked.

For example, how did Carrie afford that NYC apartment with only a weekly/monthly sex column? How did she afford all of those shoes as well?! And how on earth did Kim Cattrall not get her own show?!

After all was said and done with SATC, Kim's character Samantha totally came out on top. Compared to Carrie, Samantha was ahead of her career game, didn't take sh*t from anybody (including guys) and was just an all-round badass.

So, you can only imagine how excited we were to hear that Kim is in talks to have a SATC spin-off.

Throughout the years there has been numerous rumours of another series, and indeed another movie, but they went away as fast as they came.

However, this time around, Kim gave a little hint on Twitter that this spin-off might actually happen.

After US talk show host, Wendy Williams posted a video on Twitter stating that "reportedly Kim Cattrall is in talks with HBO to reprise her role as Samantha Jones," Kim saw and simply tweeted, "Finger's x'd."

2018 will mark the 20th anniversary of the show, so hopefully this will all work out. Our fingers are definitely crossed.

It's been almost twenty years since Sex and the City burst onto our screens back in 1998, and while the show has been lauded for depicting women, sex and relationships in their most authentic form, a shadow has hung over the smash-hit HBO show for the best part of two decades.

And it sounds like Sarah Jessica Parker is officially done with it.

Addressing long-running reports that she and Kim Cattrall endured an incredibly strained relationship during their six years on set together, SJP is determined to put the rumours to bed.

While appearing on the Howard Stern Show earlier this week, the 51-year-old actress let rip at the blatant gender stereotyping which fuelled the rumours.

"It used to really confound me and really upset me," she said. "We were part of a family of sopranos and no-one was questioning the relationships of the men on the show [or asking], did you hang out with each other at the weekend? Did you give each other Christmas presents?"

Refusing to sugarcoat the dynamic which existed between the cast and crew, Sarah offered a genuine insight into what went on behind the scenes, saying: "These were my sisters. These were people that I grew to love and admire."
 
"And was every day perfect? Were people always desperately, hopelessly in love with each other? No, but this is a family of people who needed each other, relied on each other, and loved each other."

"And this sort of narrative, this ongoing cat fight, it really used to upset me for a very long time," she admitted.

Reflecting on the impact the rumours had on her professionally, Sarah said: "I take very seriously my reputation."

"I work very hard and I treat people well and I have a work ethic that is very meaningful to me and it’s based on the affection I feel for the people I get to work with."

"To suggest that I’m behaving poorly or not treating someone well? It’s not even like it’s not me," she insisted. "It’s so anathema that it would drive me bananas."

OK Sarah, we've got it now.

Back in June, Kim Cattrall had everyone in a tizzy when she hinted that a third Sex and the City movie could be on the cards.

And now, Sarah Jessica Parker – aka Miss Carrie Bradshaw – has furthered that suggestion by saying there is a “possibility” that SATC will return.

While it is not yet clear whether the show’s long-awaited comeback would take the form of a seventh season or another big screen instalment, the 51-year-old actress told the Press Association that she and her co-stars have not ruled out furthering the adventures of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda.

The Hocus Pocus star said: “I don't think any of us have said no.  I don't know whether it's a series or the movie.”

“I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it's been resolved.”

“I think [a comeback is] always a possibility, definitely.”

We have everything crossed that this “possibility” becomes a reality.

They may have been soul sisters on Sex and the City, but as far as the public is concerned Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall's friendship was reserved solely for the set of the HBO show.

Rumours have been swirling for years that the two actresses failed to see eye to eye while filming the groundbreaking television series and its two subsequent films, but it looks like everyone fell victim to the rumour mill.

In a move which confirmed that SJP has nothing but love for her co-star, the actress shared a photo of Kim before writing a heartfelt tribute to the actress on her 60th birthday.

"Happy birthday you beauty @kimcattrall," she wrote alongside a throwback snap yesterday.
 

"Sending love and the very best for a perfectly marvelous, joyous, healthy and adventure filled birthday year," she added.

Finishing the post which has clocked up almost 80,000 likes, Sarah signed off: "Your ol' pal, fellow mischief maker and "sister", Sj"

"This gave me feels," wrote one Instagram user while another added: "That's so sweet. I miss you 4 guys being together."

In addition to being one of the first shows to give an accurate portrayal of female sexuality, noughties television sensation, Sex and the City, was known for its fashion-forward characters.

And its shoes – its hundreds and hundreds of shoes.

But while most of us are happy to allow the show its place in style history, there are others among us who are on a mission to remind us that the four New Yorkers – and their string of suitors – often fell short of the mark when it came to their wardrobe choices.

In an Instagram account called everyoutfitonsatc, die-hard Sex and the City fans can trawl through the casts' numerous ensembles and pour scorn on the somewhat questionable accessorising that went on back in the early noughties.
 

From Carrie's knee-high socks paired with open-toes shoes to Miranda's jaunty necktie teamed with a strapless dress, this account reminds us that when it comes to our favourite show of all time,it may be time to remove the rose-tinted glasses.

To most of us, today is simply the start of a new month – Howiya July, looking good! 

However, on this fine Friday, Canadians across the globe celebrate the founding of their lovely country with Canada Day. 

Back in 1867, an act was passed that combined three former British colonies into one nation, and so Canada was born.

This beautiful country, that shares a border with our American friends, has a lot to be proud of. It has become renowned for it's majestic scenery and the wonderful individuals that populate it. 

With a population of just over 36 million people, it's no wonder that some of our favourite celebs hail from this snowy land.

And we are here to highlight our favourite Canadians of all time, and thank them for the impact they have had in today's world.

Our favourite R&B master, Aubrey Graham, is a Toronto native. Drake frequently refers to 'the six' in his music, which is a slang word for Toronto.

As a platinum award-winning artist, we have no doubt that Canada is proud of this 28-year-old super star.
