You either LOVE Valentine's Day or you hate it. And it's easy to see both points of view.

If you love spending time with bae and relish with all the sappy love songs, poems, teddy bears and cards, then good for you.

On the other hand, Durex surveyed couples all around Ireland and found that only 24 percent are actually looking forward to the day and 28 percent said that if they receive roses it'll be a serious turn-off. Ouch.

So, to cut the clichés of V-Day, here's some cards that tell it like it is – and these are all available to download via Durex's Honest Valentine's Day Cards app on Facebook.

Ever since it was announced that the cast of Friends were getting back together again (minus Matthew perry, *sadface*), we couldn't help but think about all the questions that went unanswered.

Like, where the hell did Gunther go off to? Did Ross and Rachel get married? And did anyone pull on Monica and Chandler IRL?

These are all very good questions, but we have to say we want the answer to the last question the most.

Well, it seems like we might just get our answer as in a sneak peek video for the NBC special, presenter Andy Cohen asks the gang if anyone actually had to sign a contract to not sleep together. Wow.

The special episode for director James Burrows will air on February 21, and we hope our Friends air out their dirty laundry in the meantime.

In a weird turn of events, Stephanie Davis has admitted to dating solo star, Zayn Mailk.

Yep, we're sceptical too. But, since Jeremy isn't in the CBB house anymore, Stephanie told her housemates that she had a relationship with Zayn.

The ex-Hollyoaks actress said that she got in touch with Zayn through Naill Horan, and was happy to give him her phone number.

While she was in the Hollyoaks canteen, the ex-boyband beau rang her and they ended up talking to hours.

She told the others in the house, "I wasn't bothered, it was no big deal."

She then explained how she made him wait for sex and took things slowly, "which drove him wild."

"I went to Leeds to meet him and I went to his hotel and we were just messing around. But I thought I'm not that type of girl to sleep with you straight away, so I just ended up kissing him," she said.

"When I left, he was like, grrr. He just wanted us."

But in the end, Steph said that she had to dump the Pillowtalk singer because things got "really bad."

"If we wanted to go the Asda and get some food we’d have to wait till 4am and even if we went there would be girls there. I ended it with him because at the time I was oblivious to that world.

"I remember I was out in town in Alma de Cuba with the girls and he kept calling me and I changed my number so he couldn't get hold of me."

OK, Stephanie, whatever you say.

Unless you two are one of those magical couples who manages to make the honeymoon period last for five years (show us your ways), you've probably worried from time to time that you're not having enough sex.

After all, life can sometimes get in the way: long days at work, early mornings, and – in some cases – pure logistics. If you're not living together yet, you're ability to get down to it is definitely drastically reduced.

But not to worry, as a new piece of research has revealed just how much sex a couple should be having to stay content in their relationship – and it's not that much at all.

According to a study by the University of Toronto-Mississuaga, if you're having sex once a week, you have nothing to worry about.

Around 2,400 married couples were surveyed three different times over the course of fourteen years, and the results showed that having sex at least once every seven days was linked to "maximum relationship satisfaction."

Of course, if you're having sex more than that, great, but you two will still be just as content if you're getting your fix once a week.

"Although more frequent sex is associated with greater happiness, this link was no longer significant at a frequency of more than once a week," lead researcher Dr Amy Muise said.

"Our findings suggest that it's important to maintain an intimate connection with your partner, but you don't need to have sex every day as long as you're maintaining that connection."

Countless numbers of Irish women might disagree – but research has now revealed that men are, in fact, BETTER in bed after taking a few pints of the black stuff.

Yes, in her recently published book, The Married Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide To Saving Your Sex Life, Dr Kat Van Kirk highlights the four different ways beer-drinking guys benefit when it comes to getting busy in between the sheets.

And coming in for particular praise are dark beers such as Guinness.

Why? Because, explains Dr Kirk and as reported by askmen.com, the high amounts of iron contained in stout increases the amount of blood circulation to the penis. This in turn can then boost a man’s libido and lead to longer, more intense erections.

That's not all, however. No siree. Dr Kirk, a clinical sexologist and marriage and family therapist, also explains that beer ultimately supplies your body with plenty of phytoestrogens which are scientifically proven to delay orgasm.

Meanwhile, Italian researchers have found that daily beer drinkers have more stamina than their sober counterparts — and are 31 percent less likely to have heart disease, heart attacks or strokes (nope, we're not questioning it either).

Finally, Guinness is especially rich in probiotics and B vitamins, which are excellent for digestive health (because nothing says 'mood kill' like a dodgy tum). This also means "you won’t feel sluggish during sex," Dr Kirk adds.

If you're in a long-term relationship you're likely sick to death of people asking when you plan on getting married/having kids, but spare a thought for the poor Danes.

Denmark is known for its low birth rate, so anyone of child-bearing age is probably getting hounded on a daily basis to start a family.

Now one travel company has come up with a solution for the country's aging population issues… kinda.

A new ad, aimed at older parents who are just gagging for a grandchild, suggests they pay for their child to go on an "active holiday," with the hope they'll spend lots of time between the sheets.

The logic? People are more likely to have sex on a sunny holiday.

Plus, couples who break a sweat together are apparently proven to have more sex too.

"You were there when your son learned how to walk, but when it comes to making grandchildren it might be a little awkward to help out," the ad says.

"Maybe it's time to get a little proactive."

Would-be grandparents can purchase a Spies Travel holiday for their child – be they single or attached – in the hope that they'll be inspired to get down and dirty.

The Do It For Mom campaign is a follow on from the Do It For Denmark campaign in 2014, which offered an "ovulation discount" to any couples planning a romantic city break.

An ovulation discount? We could get on board with that.

Most of us have a solid idea of our 'number' when it comes to how many sexual partners we've had, be it one or one hundred.

But with STI statistics on the rise in Ireland, it's important to be aware of another number too… the amount of 'indirect' partners you've had.

For every one person you've slept with, there's a high likelihood they have their own history of sexual partners too. And when you take into account how many people their partners have slept with, and so on, the number just keeps growing.

So what's the total tally? Well, now you can find out, thanks to the Sex Degrees of Separation calculator developed by Lloyds Pharmacy. Be prepared, because the numbers will shock you.

For example, someone with five male sexual partners in the 20-24 age group is estimated to have slept with a whopping 1,353,301 people indirectly.

And the more partners you've had, the more that number grows:

The formula is based on the Six Degrees of Separation theory, the "sociological idea that we are all connected to each other by only six connections.

In order to give you an estimate of your number, the calculator asks for the number of partners you've had and what age group each was in.

It then tallies how many people those partners are statistically likely to have slept with given their age, and so on for six stages or degrees.

The aim? To estimate how many indirect partners you could have been exposed to sexually.

It's important to note that the calculator is simply a statistical estimate, and serves only to highlight the possible risks of unprotected sex, but all the same it's definitely made us think.

One urban legend has been debunked with regards to our activity in the bedroom.

While it has been long believed that men are the ones who just can’t wait to get it on, Kindara a fertility app asked their female users how they really felt about sex and came up with some interesting findings.

As it turns out, women want sex just as much as their partners- or even more.

After surveying 500 of their female users about their opinions on the female libido it was found that 75 per cent said they want to have sex with their partners more than three times a week.

Another 13 per cent said that they wanted to have sex more than six times a week. More than half of the women surveyed said that they were not entirely satisfied with the amount of sex they were currently having.

While 72 per cent of those surveyed said they orgasm every time they’re with their partner and “many” do multiple times, just over half said an emotional connection was key to “good” sex. 23 percent cited foreplay as being more important.

The biggest obstacle when it comes to women fulfilling these desires: stress.

40 per cent of those surveyed cited stress as being the number one reason that aren't having as much sex as they would like.

However, 18 per cent of those surveyed revealed that absolutely nothing would get in their way if they wanted to have sex.

Yep you read that right, apparently Peeing in the shower may be the way to you achieving better sex!

According to Gwyneth Paltrow's website, Goop, women who pee in the shower may be setting themselves up to have better sex.

We know it sounds a bit mad, but apparently this is one of the best ways to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.

It is important to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles as they support organs like your bladder and your uterus and having a weak pelvic floor may lead to you accidentally wee-ing a bit when you cough or sneeze.

A stronger pelvic floor is also linked to an improvement in your sex life. Having strong pelvic muscles can increase feelings of sexual arousal and reduce any pain you may have during sex.

On the website they explained just how to make these muscles stronger in the shower: "Try peeing in the shower squatting down. When you squat to pee as opposed to sitting up straight on the toilet, you automatically engage your pelvic floor and it naturally stretches and tones."

According to the website, it's all in the squatting for seeing any improvements. "Getting in the habit of deep squatting (envision going to the bathroom in the woods) will actually help create proper alignment in the pelvic, raise pelvic awareness and help lengthen an 'uptight' pelvic floor.

So if you're willing to go the extra mile for great sex, peeing in the shower might be the way to go!

For anyone who isn't aware of what a Fitbit is, it's a heart-monitoring device you wear around you wrist while you exercise so you can track if you are losing weight and burning calories.

But it turns out, it can be used for more than just hitting the gym. One woman decided to wear it while having sex with her partner so track her heart rate.

This brave soul shared the information about her 8 minute session on Imgur and it has since gone viral with many people saying they are going to try the same thing.

The gadget recorded the peaks and drops of different positions and climax during sex. An average of 109 beats per minute were recorded and that figure is within the range for burning fat.

The woman who posted the graph described herself as a 'fit lady' and said she has a resting heart rate of 60bpm and that her heartrate is slower when she is at the gym than shown in this graph.

The graph has been viewed over 1.7 million times and people have began seriously analysing it in the comments section below.

“Everyone focuses on the time,” noveltysin wrote on Reddit. “I lose track of it. Time stops. I'm happy.”

She has undeniably transformed her appearance – shedding three stone through healthy eating and exercise.

But despite her new-found body confidence, Vicky Pattison admits she's been weathering a serious sex drought recently… largely because she says she just can't find a man who meets her expectations.

“My love life has been s**t. I can’t even dress it up for you,” she told the Daily Star.

“A nun has been getting more action than me. I went nearly six months without sex until recently.

I went so long I almost forgot what it was like and what you did.”

However, the Geordie Shore star is happy to confirm that the situation has now been rectified: “I finally remembered the other week when I had what we’ll call a date, so you could say the dry spell is finally over.”

Phew!

Earlier this month, Vicky unveiled her brand new summer fashion range for Honeyz.

“It’s a really girly collection with pieces to suit everyone, she explained to Mail OnlineThere’s pastels and floral prints with a strong nautical theme throughout.

There's maxi dresses for afternoons in a beer garden with mates, cute tea dresses for meals out and classy co-ords for nights out.

Ms Pattison, who has a best-selling fitness DVD to her name, went down five dress sizes last year and said this was something she kept in mind while amassing the collection.

I wanted to create a range that would suit all shapes and sizes, she said.
