Prepare for a serious dose of Noughties nostalgia tonight if you're around Dublin's Baggot St.

Mr. Boombastic himself, rapper Shaggy, will be at Toner's Pub this evening for a FREE gig, and you can still nab a ticket if you move fast.

The surprise concert is part of Orchard Thieves' Be Bold campaign, with a series of events around the country helping us to reclaim #TheBoldHour – the 60 minutes we lost when those pesky clocks went forward over the weekend.

Doors at Toners this evening are at 5.30pm (over 18s only will be admitted), with music kicking off at 6pm. if you haven't already done so, you can sign up to DenOfThieves.ie and await further instructions.

And if you're a resident of Cork or Galway, don't panic, as there's some Bold fun for you too.  Cork's Reardens Bar will host The Rubberbandits, while The Front Door in Galway will see Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews arriving for a meet n' greet.

So get down to your local, enjoy some Orchard Thieves on the house, and soak up #TheBoldHour.

We were given a SERIOUS blast from the past earlier today when we realised that none other than Shaggy is in town.

Yes, it appears that the Jamaican-American reggae super-star is in Galway – kicking back with his daughter and enjoying pints of Guinness at Moran’s of the Weir in Kilcolgan. 

The It Wasn't Me singer was on stage in Toronto as recently as the weekend, but he seems to have already brushed-off any jet-lag and has settled into the city of the tribes nicely.

Yesterday, the 46-year-old was snuggled up in his hotel suite with his adorable daughter, watching movies and ordering room service. 

It doesn't seem that Shaggy is performing in the locale any time soon, so we're assuming that this trip is strictly pleasure.

Indeed, upon flying into New York before connecting to Ireland, he marked one Instagram snap with the hashtag #familytime, adding: "Need a Guinness!"​

Last year, the musician had another major hit with I Need Your Love. His Out Of Many, One Music album also received a Grammy nomination earlier this year.
