It’s been a week since Shia LaBeouf reportedly married Mia Goth in Las Vegas, but now it seems the pair’s wedding may not have been legally valid.

After a video of the couple’s ceremony emerged online, Nevada officials used Twitter to suggest that the wedding – which was officiated by an Elvis impersonator – was illegitimate because no wedding certificate had been filed in Clark County.

However, the governing body did recognise that a commitment ceremony had taken place.

Alongside a screenshot from the actors’ wedding video, Clark County Nevada wrote: “Our records show no marriage license for Shia LaBeouf & Mia Goth.  A commitment ceremony was performed #Vegas.”

People has reported that the clerk’s office chose to address the issue over Twitter because it was “getting media inquiries and it’s a matter of public record”.

Despite the news, the Even Stevens star and his British partner have been spotted wearing bands on their ring fingers while out walking their dog over the weekend.

Some exciting baby news today, as it's been reported that Carey Mulligan is pregnant with her first child.

Carey has been married to Mumford and Sons frontman Marcus Mumford for three years, and now it seems they could be about to become parents.

Although the couple have yet to confirm the news officially, a source close to the pair says it won't be long now. "The thing with these two is that they are extremely private people. So they are holding out on the announcement until Carey starts showing," the insider told Star magazine.

Speculation that the Never Let Me Go actress was expecting started earlier this month, when she stepped out in a loose fitting embellished Christian Dior gown at the London premiere of Far From The Madding Crowd, looking a little curvier than usual around the stomach area. 

The 29-year-old wore another loose gown to the New York premiere of the film, this time a demure Lanvin gown that skimmed her curves.

Carey and Marcus married in 2012 in an intimate barnyard ceremony in Bridgewater, England. Prior to meeting Marcus Carey dated Tranformers star Shia LeBeouf for over a year, before parting ways when it became apparent they wanted different things.

"She was chasing marriage, family, kids more than I was," Shia revealed shortly after the break-up.

Well, it looks like Carey has finally gotten what she wanted, and we are delighted for her.

Shia LeBeouf has said too much again after revealing he had to send producers of the movie Nymphomaniac a picture of his, erm… manhood. Lovely stuff.

This is the second time in less than a month that Shia has caused controversy after it was revealed that his new short film HowardCantour.com had uncanny similarities to animated short story Justin M. Damiano by Daniel Clowes.

Shia has also taken to Twitter, randomly apologising to Taylor Swift for nothing in particular it would seem. He also used a plane to write his apology to Daniel Clowes for the plagiarising incident.

All very strange to say the least.
